I hope the creatives are watching this.
I feel from the time CID has become a bi-weekly they are being faced with a new problems - how to make two episodes with the existing actors. We know it is not humanly possible for them. And that's the reason for bringing in new actors and characters in the existing team.
An extra forensic doctor is not necessary at all. They are not being over-worked. Two of them are more than enough and if one of them wants to take an off, it is not going to affect the show. The third forensic expert is only adding to comepetition in the lab as to who will speak more. The dialogue writer has probably written the dialogues and not 'who says what'. It looks like the 3 of them probably decide on the spot that 'you say this line, I'll say this' and so on.
We must however admit that we need new cops. That's for sure. Lets not argue about this. But the way they are showing the investigation process is absolutely chaotic. First we see Abhijeet, Kajal and Freddie in one scene and all of a sudden we see Daya, Sachin and Tasha doing another part of the investigation. After this to satisfy us they show Daya and Abhijeet in one scene in the bureau and the episode ends!!! We have to mentally assume that they all have talked on phone and fit the jigsaw puzzle ourselves.
Are the creatives getting our point? We are getting CONFUSED!!! The whole essence of CID is LOST. This is not about Sachin or Kajal. This is about the episode format itself.
They can make lovely episodes even if one of Daya or Abhijeet is absent if they have a great story.
And please that HORRIBLE background score is getting stale and irritating. It seems more conspicous in Salil Singh's episodes. I feel like shutting my ears when I hear that 'WHINE', you know what I mean????
