Guys dont u see what Abhijit is doing in CID.. Daya did at Guturgu ?

i mean look at him there.. what a transformation.. A tough cop to A clown..

He just spoiled the Tough Image of him.. what he made in CID..

I was Really upset to see him in that role.. He could do Far better roles than this one..

Yaar...he is not to be seen in Gutur Gu these days. So relax.

And somehow...one day I was watching CID and switched to Gutur Gu during ad break and there was Daya. I was swapping channels to see the two extreme sides of Dayanand Shetty and believe me - I actually enjoyed it. Dayanand Shetty is a very good actor.

It is a bit difficult to digest in the beginning, but you must allow actors to explore different types of roles once in a while.

if he supposed to do a soft touch role there....there is a no problem..he is a professional and he can't strict on one image...if you have have talent you have to show that to world..and Daya sir is just doing that ...it shows that that is not only strict roles he can do..he can be equally effective in other roles...see all the greatest bollywood actors they have not only done romantic roles they have done strict as well.. and that shows how great they are...
i dont think he is spoiling his image or anything like that.....but as @visrom told he is not doing anythng like that...thats cool but if he does i will be equally happy..thanks

Ok Bhinder.. i am agree with you on Daya's talent.. indeed he is talented and versatile.. He can do any role.. with his acting ability..

But then you can't stick to ur words.. if u can accept Daya in that role.. whats wrong there to accept Abhijit in that role.. After Abhijit is not doing funny roles. He does flirt.. but he is serious too when he is on work.

If u can Accept Daya.. You should accept Abhijit too..

Abhijit too a versatile Actor.. and he even did that type role in a film (Ek haseena thi) . And he did it with so nice..

yes, aditya srivastav is also a great actor and he also should showcase his talent. I have no problem with that. The problem arises when Abhijeet starts flirting. Abhijeet is a cop and should act like one. He shoulnt be flirting as he is a dedicated inspector and flirting with his collegues in the prescence of his seniors degrades his character

the problem is we have been watching c.i.d since long long time..we have seen as most talented and dedicated to work cop..mostly serious...but now as he enters in lab start flirting ..1 time is allright 2 time is allright but every time firework compel him to do that...that is what we can't digest...and he has been turned into somehow freddy's shoes ...(mostly in lab case) which is we can't take and don't expect anything like this from abhijeet sir... aggression was his identity but firework has changed that...how can it possible that as age is increasing one has started to put feet in flirt shoes....

acp i guess u mistook us!!! Most of us here are die hard fans of ADITYA Srivastava... There is no doubt that he is one of BEST ACTORS of the nation... We all love him ! But thats where the point comes in. We are upset with the caharacter ABhijeet.. Sr.Inspector Abhijeet.Abhi sir has never been someone who can spend half of the time in the forensic lab and that too keep flirting or joking all the time... He is a super-intelligent cop!! And we want that character to be back..thats it! We doubt if Adi sir himself is satisfied with the way ABhijeet is being portrayed these days. And GOD FORBID but one day may come when he might just say a goodbye and leave..(I know that will never happen.)... thats the reason y we cant take in ABhijeet's chacater change!😃

Not only in Gutur Gu, Johnny Gaddar is also a perfect indication of how versatile of an actor Dayanand Shetty is. He is one of the best of the lot, and really adapted well to Shiva, who was a bit agressive one second, and a peacemaker the next. Too bad he got killed too soon. He needs more oppotunities like this.

You cannot really compare him and Aditya Srivastava outside CID as clearly Aditya Srivastava has more expreience in the field, not disrespecting any of them. Both of then are really special to not only me, but all of us, and their uniqueness yet similarities is what is so special in their bond as Daya-Abhi.

Correction - Aditya Srivastav is a versatile actor. We need to distinguish between the actor and the character here.

We can imagine Dayanand Shetty in other roles and we can also imagine Aditya Srivastav in negative roles....and we have seen it too. We all know where he started off....it was one of the worst negative roles.

What we cannot take in is Abhijeet changing from the tough cop to a roadside Romeo. We want him to remain that tough officer.

I was clear about Abhijit and Aditya .. but here he is known as Abhijit. so I mentioned that name. anyway.

Abhijit is a tough officer still now. but he cant show toughness in scene of love or maybe flirting as u say. Thats not either a Roadside Romeo. Its a role of Playboy type.

I better Think him as a Playboy. Like James Bond..

Bond with the girls..Here Abhijit with Tarika..
