But that is just me, everyone is entitled for their own opinions.

That is true... How the heck did hebget shot when he had cornered the criminal? But I thought his expression was fine, rather too serious. But I'll give him another chance. After all, a transition from a soap to a crime show isn't easy, you have to change your attitude etc..

I can understand what you mean Drilabh. I share the similar thoughts with prabha. I've been in love with daya ever since I set my eyes on him. HE has got this unexplainable charm that attracts me to him like honeybees to flowers. Maybe its his incredibly good looks or his boyish shyness or his humbleness and loyalty to his colleagues or his respect for the acp I cannot say.
Abhi on the other hand took me a little time to like. BAck in the golden years 2000 to 2004 I was hardly 10-12 years old I couldn't understand the depth of performance aditya executed. I only liked to see daya onscreen because of his conventional good looks. After I got some brains I grew into him and I love him almost as much as I love daya.

The only actors I ever liked from bollywood are SRK (I loved him after watching kuch kuch hota hai, which was probably the first SRK film I ever saw) and kajol (my all time favorite actress)

I never liked overhyped bollywood and hollywood hunks maybe because they were a bit too handsome with absolutely no personality. If a person is handsome on the outside but has no charm I can't like him after some time. But if he does have unconventional looks and an amazingly charming personality I will definitely fall in love with him like aditya shrivastav.

I wonder why Aditya Srivastava never tried out for a main role in movies. He has so much talent, especially, as a villain, his devilish smile and arrogance really is commendable, it's much better than Ajmal Khan or any of those famous villians. That just shows how versatile he is, he can even do a movie in which he plays a double role of a cop and the villain, and that too effortlessly. His expressions, his reactions and his unconventional good looks are all in favor of him. What touched me really was his role of Badshah Khan on Black Friday, how easily he could transition from a calm and cool person to a angry one and vice versa... we have seen that in CID too. I am really awaiting his next movie, Kaalo, as it's trailer is very promising, and Aditya Sir is the hero. Also, the genre has been hugely unexplored by Indian cinema. But in a way, it's good that he didn't join the film industry because he's too good fo that...body builders and sex is what captures the audience nowadays. Also, if he was in the movies, he'd leave CID and we certainly don't want that. So, in a way, it's a boon.

@debayon I know what you mean by the film industry today. Its become only a place for glam dolls ( with fair skin and a good figure) who have absolutely no acting talent and guys with six pack abs with an expression that couldn't even be compared to a rock. Its become commercialized so much that producers only think of money. Real talented actors hardly get a chance to show their talent and artistic skills. What saddens me even more is that television is going on those lines nowadays with crap like dmg, godh bharai,k-serials and what not (NO OFFENCE TO THEIR FANS ITS JUST MY OPINION). Back in the dd days and sometime even after that television serials were based more on reality than the fake lifestyles and over the top sets that they show in bollywood today.

I just wish real talented actors get more opportunity.

thank you so much Drilabh for opening this confession box
Even though we all love the Trio equally but everyone does have their personal favourites whom we like a little maybe 1% more than the others, same with me even though I really love Daya and ACP equally but I'm totally in love with Abhijeet sir, whenever I see him onscreen I am like 😍,I hadn't seen CID from the beginning and when I started seeing it I fell in love with Abhijeet's character from the very first day after SRK Adi sir was the first person I gave a special place in my heart ❤️ and slowly and steadily i fell in love with Daya too,it was only to see Adi sir that I watched Bandit Queen,Black Friday, dil se pooch and some other movies when I had seen Dil se for the 1st time I didn't notice Adi sir much but now whenever i see that movie i feel so bad on seeing my one fav actor beating another 😔
anyways CID rocks and our Trio rocks !!! 😃

Exactly, but there are certainly eye opening movies like MNIK(even though it was fictional), 3I, Aamir, A Wednesday etc. But that isn't all. The cast has to be good, you don't want Shahid Kapokr doingsuch movies because it just doesn't fit. Seasoned veterans like SRK, Aamir etc, know what to do when and spear a strong message. I think that Aditya Srivastava has that experience because he has done such plays in his former theater carrer and can successfully do such roles without any necesity of six- packs etc.. The message is what matters, not the figure of the actors. It is saddening to see this in Indian TV and films.

Was this show on DD? If so, then it's before Zee and if Aditya Sir acted in it, then it well might be his first serial.

@acp prdhuyman: No offense, but are you absolutely sure?
