Best Cases of 2008 & 2009

We have a thread dedicated to worse & absurd cases where its clear that most members unanimously feel that 2008 and 2009 were the most disappointing years. But just like nothing can be 100% good all the time, nothing can be 100% bad all the time as well. So even if this was the lowest phase there must be cases you might have liked. I mean cases as a whole not just because of some scene or tuning between the main cast.

At around 8 PM a plumber comes to a flat, he hears a lady singing. He rings the bell. She asks who it is, he tells her that he is a plumber. Then she starts screaming like someone is trying to strangle her. The plumber gathers everyone, they break open the door and find the lady dead, but they don't find the killer. CID team comes; they find series of bed sheets tied together hung beside the balcony, so they assume that the killer escaped from there. The body is taken to the Forensic lab where Dr. Salunkhe declares that the lady has died between 2-3 PM and not at 8 PM. However the plumber claims that he was speaking with the lady just before she was strangled.

Who can ignore Behroopiya? It was one of the 'best' and one of the 'worst' at the same time. Whichever way you look at it, no one can forget this episode - ever.

I thought I would start with a different case since this one would come up anyway but I agree. The most memorable case from that phase has to be Beherupiya (aired 14-Aug-2009)

The worst would be Mass murder, Khooni khel,etc

Then I really loved Raaz Lapata Kidney Ka (aired 20-Nov-2009).

I know a lot of members here feel that a similar case called THE CASE OF THE HEALTHY PATIENTS featuring Daya Sir was far better. Yeah in terms of story, screenplay and flow of logic it was better but this one had it own charm. Towards the end, Abhi Sir was unconscious, the operation was about to start, and markings on his body was done. I was getting desperate, waiting for Daya Sir to come fast, break open the doors and save him. In the earlier case those devils had already cut Daya Sir's body, this time I wanted nothing of that sort. AND when I saw that Abhi Sir had already managed to disguise himself as the assistant and he was already safe, I was overjoyed. Those last few moments were really thrilling.

Another one I liked was The Comatose Killer (aired 8-Aug-2008). Yes some portions were tackily done but still I loved the basic plot, the mystery of how this happened. I think it was really interesting.

By the time the CID team reaches the spot, the dead man found on the floor has gone missing while the man in coma is now dead. How did the comatose patient kill the man found dead on the floor and where did his body disappear is the puzzle CID has to solve.
