For acp daya abhijeet are like his sons sometimes more than sons .

i also observed something in many many epis. acp is generally emotionally close to daya and generally his closeness to abhi is like dat of close senior-junior colleages. let me elaborate on some cases...

in d blind witness case, acp's 1st blind case epi, if u hv observed very very very closely, acp always physically depended on daya. wenever abhi gave him a hand, he refused to be helped. but wen daya gave him his hand he willingly took it.

in d case where daya returned frm d dead (ie after behrupia, acp patted him on his face as well as his shoulder. whereas wt abhi he never does dat- he always pats him on his shopulder, as in flashback....

so i feel acp has different attitudes towards his all his officers.

wt asha he ws like a father. wt freddy he was like senior -turned-father. wt abhi and daya -i described above.....

acp loves his immediate juniors like sons- yes. but he has different relations wt each of d two....

so wat do yu think of my views?

Definitely he cares...there was one episode where Abhijeet and Daya go to drop a bomb in the sea and the helicopter bursts in the air. Everyone assumes them dead. And when ACP comes to the hospital and sees them both alive, tears fill his eyes....wow, it was a great moment...showed how much he cared. How can one even have doubts about this?

Just see...if a close friend's relative is dead, a very openly emotional person will be able to comfort him/her better. A not-so-open person will also feel the pain, but not be able to comfort the other person. Got it???

hmmm I read what drilabh had to say. I think ACP loves both Daya-Abhi equally. He does not differentiate, yes how he expresses it may differ. But we need to remember that how one expresses love and care for another person also depends on the other person. I can see ACP patting Daya Sir on his cheek but not Abhi Sir. Abhi Sir just does not come across as a person who would like a gesture like that, or in other words a gesture like that for him would come naturally to anyone.

We can't consider Behrupiya example here, Daya Sir came back from the dead, ACP had almost lost him, we haven't seen Abhi Sir so severely injured (I hope we never do), so we don't know how ACP would express in that situation. And when Blind Witness case happened Abhi Sir was around for only about 6-7 months as against Daya Sir who was around for 2.5 years. Equations now are totally different, ACP is more than a father to both of them and they do what even ACP's real son would not have done for him.

I agree with Prabha di. ACP loves both of them equally. after the death of his son, Daya and Abhijit took his place in his mind. and it is not shown openly, but there is a very sweet and loving relation between ACP and Freddy too.😍

i feel ACP shares a very close bond with all his officers...with special mention of ABHIJEET DAYA N FREDRICKS...obviously bcos they have been with him for 12 long yrs now!!

When it comes to Abhi n Daya ACP treats them quite equally...the points that DRILABH mentioned are true but the creatives never think so deeply into such matters. its just pure coincidences that we are made to feel that ACP is more close to Daya.we have seen ACP being conecrned about the two of them equally!! So, i dont feel that ACP is more expressive about his feelings for Daya and not for Abhijeet just bcos Abhijeet has always maintained a distance from everyone other than Daya.

Fredricks is actually a very loving character! he is loved by all. and ACP loves him verryyy much..v have seen that in many episodes. In the episode just after BEHROOPIYA ACP says "WAISE BHI BHAGWAAN ISKI PRAARTHNA JALDI SUN LETA HAI" ..that was really very sweet!!
