That was my guess to but that schedule makes no sense the one printed on 3 Sept. It looks like they printed Thursday's schedule or something. The problem is that the date was really want to check the archives for are not to be seen.

Like looking at the schedule in setindia archives, I found that CID was aired on a Wednesday, 18-Apr-2001, while it was aired on a Friday, 4-May-2001. But I can't find what happened in the week between them whether CID was aired on 25th or 27th April 2001.

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO looks like I finally found what I was looking for. The NO SHOW date is 10 SEPTEMBER 2004. There had to be a valid reason for no show, this is it.

On 10th September 2004, ICC CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2004 started. Mainly the matches were shown on MAX but when you had two, matches on the same day, the second match was aired on SONY. That is exactly what happened on 10th Sept. If you take a look at the schedule, that day there were two matches -
1] England v Zimbabwe (aired on MAX)
2] New Zealand v USA (aired on SONY)

Even though the date in the drop down is shown as "Monday 13, September 2004" this is actually "Friday 10, September 2004" Schedule because "NZ vs USA Cricket Match" can be seen in the schedule and it can be seen that the match with Extra Innings ends at 11:00 PM well past CID Time.

No wonder there is slight confusion of Aditi entered CID on 10th or 17th Sept.

Finally 2004 seems all sorted except that we are missing the first case of the year

I think you mean the title - "THE CASE OF THE DEAD MURDERER"

Yeah there are two cases with the same name. The one which had Daksh was about a boy seeing a dead body first in a hotel room and then again in the swimming pool.

You can read through the older case with the same name, possibly aired in Aug 2002.

This case was about how an actress plans her own kidnapping and is eventually is really kidnapped. Daksh was part of this case. He does his over smart thing and inspite of ACP telling him not to go with the actress's lawyer, he goes it the car's dikki. He also does a stunt towards the end of the case where he jumps from the terrace of the building with the actress, evetually saving her from the kidnapper.

I think CID [Azaadi Special] is The Case of the Engraved Grains
