No yaar, how can I insult Abhi Sir 😔, its just that when his head is injured, I get worried. He went alone in the first episode that turned his life upside down, then he went alone to inerrogate people ended up getting hypnotised. In one of the old episoded he went alone to make a fake gun deal, the criminal was about to shoot him but Daya Sir saved him (I think it was THE CASE OF 50,000 Enemies). Then during Abhijit In Danger phase again he was hit on the head and we know what was happening to him. Even if Daya Sir almost died during the Behroopiya case it was Abhi Sir who was actually kidnapped, we don't know how but Daya Sir got him back.

Maybe Daya Sir got into more trouble though I don't really think so but physical appearence also works on the mind, atleast on my mind. Daya Sir looks tough, physically and Abhi Sir has a very lean physique. So even if Daya Sir gets into trouble somewhere I feel he will pull it though (he even came back from the dead) but Abhi Sir I feel like protecting. Thats one of the reasons I like him and Daya Sir to be together.

Even after having said all this, I believe Abhi Sir is a tough guy. But his head injuries get me worried.

"Getting into trouble" reminds me. I have been thinking about this. Till now everyone Daya Sir, Abhi Sir, Sudhakar, Freddie to a certain extent, even ACP have undergone circumstances where they have been accused, doubted and even arrested. They have had to prove and come back. All of them have had humiliating experiences of being scolded by their senior.

But the one man who has been part of the team for a long time now, but hasn't gone through any of that yet, Viveck. Or has he? I can't recollect any case where he has been reprimanded. I think its time to give the guy his due, he has been here for a long time now but not had even one Character Centric Case yet. We don't know how good or bad an actor he is. He also needs to be tested. Even if he faulters, does not perform to the level expected but still I want to see him as a central character in atleast one case.

i really didnt feel that the case ws SPECIAL FOR THE CELEBRATION. ohh well. nowadayz i m begginning to hate Abhijeet. hez given more importance than Daya wich makes me jealous. wen they r in the sam epost, they shud hav sam levell. i dunno y but i smtimes hate him n wenhez with aya i like him. 😆 n sometimes i even say 2 my mom "LUK MUMMA, ABHIJEET CANT EVEN BEND A BONE" 😆

I have read a lot of thread with long discussions that CID is not what it was. Yes, I agree but even you and I are not what were were 12 years back. I personally find those discussions a waste of time cause it changes nothing and only creates more disappointment. Irrespective of what the change in CID standards over the years, I am glad that atleast this series is around else I would have had nothing to watch. I want to thank the CID team for being around, giving thrills, smiles and joy. God Bless the team and hope there is much more to come from them.

How can you hate Abhijeet 😡...

There have been so many episodes in Dec, where Abhijeet was not even present in the climax scene.

Awww, why hate Abhi Sir yaar, its not his fault if they give him more scope to perfom and its not like he is not good enough but still given more scope. He is good and can't be denied.

I guess she loves Daya Sir too much making her feel like that for Abhi Sir. She likes him when they are together. I understand that, even I hate some actors who are contantly pitted against my fav, its not their fault but I can't help it.

I love both the characters - Abhijeet and Daya equally. But we cannot deny the fact that Aditya Srivastav is visible even outside CID, so I like him outside CID too. And how well he acts!!!

I love the character of Daya, but Dayanand Shetty is not that much visible outside CID. So I would give a 'delta x' preference to Abhijeet than Daya.

We don't know what happens behind the scenes...we can only guess...that since Aditya was already an established actor before entering CID, he was given a higher rank than Daya in the beginning. That still continues.

I too love both Daya and Abhijit. Even if one of them is missing I don't feel like I saw CID.

I believe that after Adi Sir joined the show went on a different level altogether. The way he started, bang spot on performance. You couldn't ignore him. Coming into a show which is successfully running since 2 years its not easy to make your place. I have not seen Satya for years now but that scene where Paresh Rawal is shot at, Inspector Khanvilkar's performace is etched in my mind. After I saw Dil Se I hated him for beating up my fav actor and how trilled I was when I saw him in Saathiya again with my fav actor. Two of my favorites in one frame. Adi Sir is a brilliant performer, who has showcases his talent in small roles and left a mark.

Having said that I love Daya Sir a tad bit more, he touched my heart the moment I saw him for the first time. May be more so because he comes only in this one series. I don't get to see him outside. The 14th Aug episode last year had me in tears because I thought I will not be able to see him from now on. I want to hold on to Inspector Daya so that I continue to see Mr Dayanand Shetty. Adi Sir I know I will get to see from time to time but Mr Shetty, only till CID is running. I want it to run forever.

Me tooo..... This is one episode, of which I have avoided seeing the repeats of the last 10 mins. 😭

For me also Sathiya is a very special film since my most favorite actors, (one in small screen and the latter in the silver) share screen space. there can be no diferences on the matter that cid is incomplete without either of them.

As far as the promos of 222nd jan are considered, I think only abhijeet sir can handle such a situation. Daya is emotionally very weak and won't be able to bring things under control.
