The Episode with Adi Sir but not as Abhijit is being aired today - THE CASE OF STOLEN GUN. His name is Paresh. ACP's gun is stolen in this case. And Frieddie's name is Michael and he is without a mustache. Yeah kaunse se zamaane ka episode hai.

"Today in one case there is no ACP, no Daya Sir, No Freddie, No Asha"

I know mere Daya Sir ko kuch role hi nahin diya. Yeh Viren wala era to bahut bore lag raha hai bhai. Yeh 1998 ke episodes mein Daya sir kahan gayab ho gaye beech beech mein. College mein the kya, exams the. How old was he when he joined. When he is not there unko bahut miss karti hoon.

But Man Adi Sir, aap kya actor ho, kya actor ho ji aap. Mazaa aa gaya aapka performance dekhke in THE CASE OF STOLEN GUN. What a performance, I was gripped. He is brilliant when it comes to showing internal conflict. I am falling short of words. Can't believe this 11 year old episode could grip me like this. And thank GOD there was no Viren but sad there was no Daya Sir either.

Someone said Adi Sir has done an episode in which ACP and Daya Sir are driving when he comes scared and shivering. He asks then to help him as someone is out to kill him. I can't recollect any such episode and today's episode did not have anything like this either. So my guess is Adi Sir has done another story as Non-Abhijit. I want to see that one too.

Oh, I loved the Stolen Gun case! Hats off to Aditya Srivastav, he's a real acting gem. I wish he gets bigger roles befitting his talent..

Yaar, someone post the Viren episodes. I really miss those.😭😭 Those were the real mysteries. The Ashutosh Gowarikar era was the best after the Abhijit-Daya-Daksh-Aditi era because the cases were really hard to solve. I have vivid recollections but can't remember anything because I was 3 then. Plus, I live abroad and even though I have Sony, they don't show the old episodes on the US Sony TV, only CID Classic Cases.😡

"THE CASE OF CROSS CONNECTION" is one of my favorite cases, I could recollect every scene even though I had seen it just once until this repeat came. This was Jayant's first Episode, he was from computer department and worked with CID for a very short Duration. This case falls in Pre-Abhijit Era. Its the second last case before Abhi Sir entered. Then he worked with ACP, Daya Sir, Abhi Sir, Freddie and Sudhakar on a few more cases. Not sure about Asha she is mssing from the 3-4 cases I have seen having Inspector Jayant.

Oh really, good job🤗. Thanks for recording them. Hope you upload them soon.

I know it must be odd for someone to start watching the show from the more recent episodes then finally watch the old ones. I have been watching the show from the beginning and I loved the early era with Insp Viren. The writing was so much better back then. 😊

I'd really appreciate it if someone would record the 1997/1998 episodes (i.e. Pre-Abhijeet era). Please! 😊

Yesterday (4th Jan '10) the following 1998 Episodes were shown

1) THE CASE OF SERIAL KILLINGS
2) THE CASE OF ANONYMOUS INFORMER
3) THE CASE OF CLOSED ROOM
4) THE CASE OF STOLEN GUN

Of which ACP was missing in Case 1 and 3. Daya Sir missing in Case 3 and 4. In fact in Case 3 the only known faces were Viren and Sudhakar. In Case 4, Aditya Srivastav played the role of Paresh and Freddie's name was Michael . It was the most interesting case mainly thanks to Adi Sir's Brilliant acting.

SONY showed CID for almost 5 and half hours. In all this time they showed only 4 Cases which at an average are 40 minutes long with out breaks. Rest all the time it was ADs , I have never seen a Re-Run have so many ads.

LOL😆😆 Indian television, What can one do without ads?? BTW, I have a different opinion on new faces in CID. I find it very interesting to see new faces just like a child is very excited when he is given a new toy.
