my bday.........well..personally i wanted a simple one...I didn't feel up to doing anything special....
it was my first bday in uk....and also the first one away from my family...
i got loads of texts and calls from local and overseas....
and then since we were fasting...in the evening we went to mosque...since our relatives had arranged food to open our roza at the mosque...many family members were there...my cousin told a few and they passed on to many other ppl that it's my bday today....so those who knew wishd me.....
and then when i came home from mosque....i went up the stairs to my room....then my cousin called me to come down coz she wanted to go somewhere with me....i got my jacket and bag and went down the stairs....and i see the lights off in the living room...and the candles already lighted on the cake and most of the youngsters of the hse (including relatives) all sang as i blew the candles.....it was indeed a surprise....and i was laughing uncontrolabbly that i blew most of the candles....and then tried harder to blew the other few that were left...but there was this one candle...no matter how much i tried i couldn't blow it since i was laughing at the same time as well....lol
and then they lighted the candles again...and this time the adults of the hse,including relatives, stood around (since they had been looking at the kitchen and talking abt it before na....since the kitchen is being renovated from A-Z...so that time they als joined in)...and they all asked me to blow candles again....i blew and my god...i could only blow some coz i was laughing....coz it was indeed a surprise and i was touched and happy....and i just couldn't help it....lol....so this time i couldn't blow a few more candles...and then my 7 yr old relative blew the rest for me....lol
and then earlier during the day i had been told abt this bday post....and when i came here on monday...i was touched with all your messages and stuff....
that's almos everything related to what happened and what was done on my bday....
oh yah,,,how SUMRA celebrated was that...i wore an asian suit to college...that i thought is suitable for college but later i noticed it had been a lil' too much....lol.....mom had parceled me some asian suits few days earlier.....anyway and then at night a lil' time before going to bed...i ate a mini mars bar -chocolate....
that's abt it....
not very simple though😳....but not too grand....
oh yah...one friend at college...she said she's gonna bake a cake for me...coz she does that for every friend of hers on their bdays....but in my case...a belated one...since i had been fasting on my bday😆
