Shravan the driver:
Ira is about to leave the garden as Sam comes to inform her they need to go shopping together and should be quick as they need to return for her mehndi ceremony. As Ira's about to enter the car, Shravan opens the door wearing a driver's suit. Ira is surprised and asks what is Shravan doing here. Sam explains that his driver was away so he asked Shravan to take them. Ira is upset as she asks Sam that he could have driven the car and there was no need to ask Shravan. Shravan says he was free so he doesnt mind taking them. Sam goes to sit at the back but Ira sits in the front seat. Sam asks why Ira sat in the front and she replies she just felt like it in a low voice. Shravan adjusts the mirror and smiles at Sam while he gives Shravan a cheeky thumbs up. They reach the shopping venue and Shravan opens the doors for them. He asks them to do their shopping as he will wait for them in the car. As they are about to leave Sam takes out 100 rupees from his wallet and hands it over to Shravan for lunch. Ira is annoyed as she asks Sam how could he judge Shravan when he's just helping them. Sam says he isnt doing that in fact he must be hungry so he gave him money. Ira angrily informs Sam that Shravan isnt his driver or servant and in fact he owns his own garage. Ira snatches the money off Shravan and gives it back to Sam and orders Shravan to go home and eat the lunch she has already cooked for him. (Lol she's so cute when she's pissed offš) She suddenly gets a call from Revathy who asks her to come home asap as they are waiting for the mehndi ceremony to begin soon. Ira asks Shravan to take her in a rickshaw and says Sam can get home by himself. (Sam is giving a sly grin looking at Shravan... mission accomplished!š) Ira takes Shravan with her to catch an auto. She tells him there's no need to do anything like this in future as he owns his own business and he's not anyone's servant. Shravan agrees and turns around and quickly smiles and gives Sam a thumbs up and a wave as he sits in the auto.
Ojha house:
Revathy is getting impatient as Ira is late to the mehndi. Daimaa defends Ira and says she must be taking her time to get ready. Ira arrives and the mehndi starts while Isha is watching them secretly. As they are doing the mehndi one of the ladies say they need to write her would be hubby's name on her hand. Daimaa tells them her husband's name is Samarth. Ira looks unhappy hearing all this. Ira tells the mehndi girl to stop after she has written an "S". She asks why she was asked to stop. Ira replies only one letter is enough. Daimaa is excited as she goes to Isha and praises that her plans are working. Isha says how can Ira allow someone else's name written on her hand when its Shravan who is in her heart. Daimaa says however they have to also reveal something to Revathy as they both head off.
Kitchen:
Revathy goes in the kitchen to get a bowl of mehndi out of the fridge. As she turns around she sees Isha standing right in front of her. She asks why Isha is here. Isha replies she has come to make sure Revathy doesnt ruin the mehndi like she had tried to in her mehndi function. Revathy explains she wouldnt want to do that as she does want Ira as her DIL. She's scared as she hides her face and requests Isha to leave her alone. Isha quicky leaves and gives the bowl of mehndi to Daimaa. Daimaa pats Revathy's shoulder but she asks to stop hitting her. Daimaa says its her and why would she hit her. Revathy turns around and realises Isha's gone. Daimaa gives the mehndi bowl back to Revathy and asks her to take care everything as she needs to go home because a girl and her parents are coming over at her house for Shravan's proposal. After Daimaa leaves, Isha comes back and warns Revathy that she is watching her all the time and not to try and act smart. Revathy says she wont as she runs back into the ceremony. Revathy gives the mehndi lady to put a mixture of lemon and honey on the mehndi so that it turns out darker. As the mehndi lady starts doing that Ira says thats not how its done and wants to ask Daimaa to do it but she's nowhere to be seen. Revathy informs Ira that Daimaa has gone home to fix Shravan's proposal as she leaves. Ira is confused and surprised to hear this and she gets up angrily to go to the quarters.
Ravan's quarters:
Ira watches everything from outside as the girl's parents are saying they like Shravan and Daimaa says she also likes their daughter. Daimaa asks Shravan and the girl to put their palms on top of each other as she places an envelope of shagun money. Ira is upset seeing all this and screams a loud "nahi". She runs inside and yells "ye shaadi nahi ho sakti!!!" Daimaa is suprised to see her and asks what she's doing here leaving her mehndi ceremony. Ira angrily says she doesnt care and says this marriage wont be happening and that too with this girl. Daimaa asks whats the problem as the girl and family are good. Shravan supresses a smile as he comes over and acts concerned and questions Ira whats the problem. Ira tries really hard to reply but she just cant bring herself to admit she doesnt want all this happening cos she loves him. Hmmm she finally spins something like marriages arent fixed just like that. Daimaa asks again what can possibly be the problem especially if both parties are happy. Ira asks what about kundalis. Daimaa says she has already done all that and all their 36 qualities match perfectly and she has already fixed the wedding date. Ira asks how can they do that so soon? Daimaa says Shravan's wedding will be happening in the same mahurat as Ira's wedding. Ira screams no again. Shravan asks what now? She asks isnt it important they know each other a little before deciding to marry. Daimaa explains as per their traditional rituals the bride and groom dont even see each other but she let Shravan meet the girl because he insisted he wanted to. Ira looks even madder. Daimaa asks if this jodi looks good and Ira instantly replies no as Shravan smiles in the background. Ira justifies how can one know each other's likes and dislikes from just one meeting. She says this is not how marriages are fixed. Daimaa says they have their whole life ahead of them. Daimaa asks the girl's parents to ignore Ira as she's isnt her DIL anymore. Daimaa offers to make tea for all of them. The girl comes and offers to make the tea as it will be her duty in future. Daimaa says no need but the girl insists and says she will soon be her "sunbai" Ira looks even more annoyed as Shravan acts to be impressed. Daimaa asks the girl to get the pot for making tea from outside.
As she goes outside, Ira runs behind her. The girl congratulates Ira for her wedding but she tells her she cant get married to Shravan. Meanwhile, Daimaa and Shravan are secretly watching all this from the kitchen window. The girl asks Ira why she said that. Ira replies she is not worthy of Shravan. The girl defends herself and says she is Maharashtrian just like Shravan and she can make all the sweets and delicacies that he would want. Ira says that doesnt matter. The girl carries on and says she's educated and knows accounts so she can also help Shravan out in business. Ira says that wont matter either. The girl asks then whats her problem... Ira says the problem is not her but Shravan; he's not worthy of her. Ira says didnt you hear how Shravan speaks in tapori style. (Shravan smiles at Daimaa) The girl smiles and says thats not such a big deal as she knows he's good at heart. The girl asks then what? Ira notices his clothes hanging on the line outside and says his clothes get so dirty that it can be very exhausting to clean them. The girl says no problem as she used to wash clothes for 5 people. Then Ira tells about Shravan's eating habits and super loud snoring. The girl says she was unaware about all this but then questions how did Ira used to live with him. She says she will go to tell her mum all this. Daimaa and Shravan quickly run away from the window. Ira feels guilty so quickly stops the girl and then explains that these arent actually bad qualities but Shravan's good qualities. The girl is confused so Ira elaborates that the way he speaks is not fake. He speaks from his heart and has a very clean heart. She speaks with so much love as she explains his clothes get filthy because he works really hard in the garage and he will do well in life thanks to his hard work. She adds that he eats so much because he likes the love with which the food is made for him. The girl asks what about his snoring. Ira says its now like a lullaby for her and she cant sleep if she doesnt hear it. Shravan and Daimaa are touched to hear all this. The girl says but she would want to change all this habits after marriage. Ira requests her to not do all this and let him be the way he is. The girl asks with what rights is she saying all this. Ira angrily retorts she is Shravan's wife! Daimaa and Shravan looking proud of herš
