Misti, thanks for the article. I am confused about the whole thing. The promos showed a carefree Radhika and the article confirms that. But, then she was an orphan or has a weaver father or is an orphan girl adopted by a weaver father from Rawal. Now, Chalhov's link shows a Radhika who is wearing good clothes and looks modern in terms of hair style etc.

CD actually Radhika being a poor orphan is going against her look in the press conference. The way Rubina was dressed up, it looks like she comes from a well to do family, while Dev was more simply dressed. In CB1 press conference I think Rubina wore a plain and simple salwar kameez and they kept Radhika in a simple look belonging to a lower midle class/poor family .....also as someone who gets hands down clothes. As far as I remember CB1 press conference also had Vishaka wearing better quality salwar kameez, whereas here they have not shown anyone else other than Radhika and Dev. So I am taking all the articles with a pinch of salt.

So we got sweet little Radhika n now waiting to knw abt little handsome Dev... wont mind to watch if they pull their childhood luv story a bit more thn 10-15 episodes... well, trps gonna decide it... hope this show achieves best and becomes slot leader.

She may be orphan and her father a very rich weaver will a big handloom business😉😆 so she dresses accordingly but initially it was thought that this time around Radhika will be rich and Dev middle class

I like the word curtain raiser for this new season of CB. I hope it is not another combo-khichdi-handing over charges episode. If they do enlighten us about Raval and Mathura and the significance of these places in the life of Radha-Krishna I will be pleasantly surprised. We have to wait for the curtains to raise and the show to begin.

So, my conclusion from various articles is:

1.Radhika is an orphan girl adopted by a rich weaver father who does not employ any servants and hence Radhika does all the housework. But, there may not be any Amma or Abba, so she is treated nicely and is hence bubbly person. The weaver probably makes clothing material that is sold to Kanha temples. Hence, Radhika's worship of Kanha.

2. On the other hand, Dev is an orphan boy adopted by a middle class family who owns a big haveli, that was burnt down at some point, in Mathura. He feels extremely obligated and is hence a reserved person and dresses like Abhay.

3. Both Dev and Radhika were in orphanage together and fell in love while being kids. But, got separated as were adopted by different people in different cities. Some Kanha locket and a payal will unite them due to Kanha's kripa.

You are welcome Angie.......Aiyooooooooo looks like you have given the story out to the audience.😉...As for amma .....the abba should be with Dev, that is the Law of Reciprocal Relationship as followed by Zee.......and I am guessing that the dadaji will be with Radhika.

Or the haveli is the orphanage..where these two initially grew up and then they separated when they were kids and went to different houses......so the bhoothbangla can be passed on to some other show and then when they grow up they will again for some reason land in the same haveli ,......and the haveli will spark their memory of their childhood. So the bhooth bangla which will be in another show will again burn down and will be brought back in CB......all problems solved.
