Actually, Mohini's character can be somewhat like the character of Mrinalini. Although negative, but she was still bearable to watch ... unlike the characters of Vishaka (whom the DJs completely destroyed) and Kanika (who they brought in as Vishaka's replacement). I would rather watch another Mrinalini than watch another Vishaka/Kanika on my TV screen. Amma ... No comments.

The so-called grandpa will hopefully not be a substitute for amma. The reason I say this is because today's announcement of the star-cast looks like it is all to do with Radhika's house-hold. We have no clue about Dev's family and the star-cast for that yet.
