At least we didn't need one at home when I was a little kid..

What woke me up was a voice speaking Sanskrit news..

My grandfather use to listen to akasha vani news every morning as long as he lived..

Someone I know used the word akasha vani this morning and the first thing that came to my mind was Sanskrit news .. I don't understand Sanskrit but, I woke up every morning listen to news ..

Those were the golden memories of my childhood days when life was not a mad rush ..

I am not sure if they still air Sanskrit news in all India radio or not these days ..

Thanks to the person who posted this audio on youtube he/she sure made my day..

So, though of sharing this chidhood memory of mine with you all.

Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I too remember Akashvani, my grandfather who was blind due to diabetes, his lifeline was the radio and All India Radio, Akashvani, BBC radio, etc.

From him I learned to love the transistor, and used to listen to it while doing my homework from school.

No Sanskrit memories, though, sorry! 😳
