Nivedita Tiwari, who missed the bus in playing the grownup Anandi in Balika Vadhu, has bagged the lead role in the upcoming Zee TV show, Bhaagon Waali..

Remember Nivedita Tiwari, who was one of the three options provided to the viewers to choose their new Anandi in COLORS' Balika Vadhu? Well, the girl might have lost out in that race to Pratyusha Banerjee, but lady luck has smiled on her now, as she has bagged the lead role in an upcoming Zee TV show!!

TellyBuzz had recently written about the Jay Productions show titled Bhaagon Waali which is the tale of an innocent and pretty girl with a great fortune.

According to our source, "Nivedita is the Bhaagon Waali who has been roped in to play the lead role in the show. After short listing many a known names, the channel and production house zeroed in on this Lucknow girl to play the protagonist".

We hear that the unit has already left for Lucknow where they are scheduled to have their first outdoor shoot.

As reported earlier, Himanshu Malhotra will play the male lead in the show. Rita Bhaduri, Sagar Saini, Vaishali Nazareth, Madan Tyagi and Aadesh play vital roles.

We tried contacting Nivedita but she remained unavailable.

Our efforts to get in touch with Producer Jay Mehta were in vain.

Bhaagon Waali is being produced by Jay Productions and Samidha Khalid's Creative Lab. The show is expected to launch in the third week of November and in all probability will be replacing Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.
