Yestreday i read Daadi.. abhay and Radhika interaction scene by Anu at work... and couldn't resist myself to write one... so here is my try..
It was afternoon time. Pb house was getting ready for evening. Dev ( Abhay ) went to the trust office for some reason.
Vaisali: Maaji... Maaji... kaha hei aap...
Listening to that Birju: I saw Daadima climbing stairs..
Vasiali: kyum?
Birju: Patha nahi.. meine socha ke Radhika baviji bhi saath honge...
Vaisali: Lekin Radhika tho Mandir gaye hei.. and then looking at the door... Lo agayi.... turning to Radhuika..: how was it beta..
radhika with a smile: It went fine Maaji..
She was wearing a meroon color saree with yellow border with border matching blouse. had pallu over her head and her maang was shining with red sindoor.... and with mangal suthr on her neck.. Looking simply beautiful.
Birju: tho daadi akele kyum gaye upar?
Vaisali: mei jakar dekhthi hum and she was about to climb the step.... she saw Daadi coming down with a very serious face.
Radhika: Daadima, aap ko kuch chahiye tha...
She didn't say anything. She ignored everyone and just went straight to the main hall and sat on the sofa.
Vaisali : Maaji, kya huva... aap ko kuch chahiye..
Daadi didn't say or look at her either..
They all looked at each other in both confusion and concern... they waited Daadi to respond but no result...
Vaisali brought a glass of water : Maaji lo, davayi khane ka vakth hogaya hei... lo..
Daadi turned her face away... they all tried but Daadi kept her silence...
Vaisali with concern: Maaji ko ye davayi abhi khana hei... nahi tho...
Radhika: kya kare... Daadima tho kuch bhi nahi bol rehe hei...
bUt then Dev walked in... Vaisali went near with a hope..: acha huva beta thum abhi agye ho.... Dekhona, maaji davayi nahi khathi hei... thu try karna... she may take it then..
Dev with a smile walked towards Daadi... on his way he saw Beautiful Radhika looking at him with the corner of his eyes... he felt some kind of inner happiness..
He went near and sat near Daadima.. and then asked Vaisali to give the medicine in his hand... she gave it to his hand with a teasing smile...
Dev: Daadima, mere achi daadima heina.. lo davayi lo..
Daadima turned her face... she didn't agree... Dev also looked at everyone..
Dev: ok daadima, if you are not going to take the medicine then i am going to hide again... then you won't see me..
Suddenly daadi looked at him... drops of tears wet her eyes... Dev felt bad
Dev: daadima, please davayi khalo, i am not going anywhere else..
She stood from the sofa, looked at Dev
Daadi: mere saath chalo..
Dev in confusion: kaha daadima..
Daadi: chalona...
Dev stood up... Daadi held his arm and started walking.. She came near Radhika...
Daadi: Avo mere saath... Radhika looked at Dev ( Abhay) and then asked : kaha daadima..
Daadi with a very serious tone: Radhika mere saath avona...
Radhika also listened , she followed Daadi and Dev and the rest of the family too with them.
Daadi went and stood in front of the Kanha and Radha Idol...
Looked at Dev and asked : ye Kaun hei?
Dev shrugging his shoulder: Kanha..
She asked the same to Radhika , she said the same answer too..
daadi lifted up her right hand and opened it up: aur ye kaun hei..
Radhika's eyes gone wild.. it was the Kanha locket Dev gave to her and she kept that in front of her Idol's feet with the sapath... that she will accept it only when her husband tie it on her neck again... Vaisali and Birju felt so happy... Vivek was leaning on his new crutches and smiling.. Time passed by... Dev just stood there looking at the locket like a statue..
Daadi: thum donom Kanha ke ethne bede bhakth ho... aur Dev yaad hei, thu kithne pyar se ye bahu ke jale mei bandha tha... tho ab esko kya huva... jawab do... ye thumhare kamre mei aisa kyum pada hei..Prabhu ke charan mei... esse tho choti bahu ke gale mei hone chahiyena...
Radhika looked at Daadi with her unbelievable eyes..
She streched her hand out to Dev; Dev, tie this around your wife's neck
Dev with embarassment: nahi.. vo Radhika apne aap karenge, aap usko dedeejiye....
Daadi: vo kabse hei mere lal.. patha hei , Deevanom ke tharah peecha kartha tha uski... aur ab... ye kab se... Koi bahana nahi chalega... you do what i say or i won't take any medicine..
Dev took the Kanha locket from Daadi's hand and he looked at Radhika 's face... she looked staright into his eyes... but then she saw him approching her... she stood there with downcasted eyes...
Vaisali, Birju and Vivek watched the happening with tearful eyes....
She saw his hand approaching her face... she prayed to Kanha... Dev's fingeres unknowingly touched her cheek... she jerked, she blushed... he felt her feelings too... few flash back scene reflected in his mind... he tried to concentrate and he slowly started tying the knot. He looked at her face and she stood with closing her eyes.... praying to Kanha... that what ever is happening is true... only true... Dev slowly pulled his hand back... Radhika folded her hand in front of the Idol and tears started rolling down her eyes... Kanha, ab mei aap se kya mangum.... all these years pain , you just healed with this moment. Mei aap ko kaise dhanyavad karum...
Dev folded his hands also in front of the Idol... thanking Him for giving that moment..
Daadi with a smile.... just went and hugged both of them together, they hugged her back... Dev streched his left arm out to circle daadima, and Radhika her right wrm... and Dev's hand slowly rested on Radhika's.. she jerked and he too... but this time he didn't take it back... He just felt her hand in his and her heart swelled with happiness.....
