Actually I don't care about this leap.

But there are 2 point that I agree from your post:
1. CVs are hurry up too much. The reason could be they attributing this low TRP to shantanu's presence and now Dev's absence. Both of which I do not agree.

2. There is no more suspense. For this I attribute it to the too much of publicity and marketing they are doing. Before we see what would happen in the episode, articles are out and new channel segments are created. Before Dev's accident in the episode we all knew Dev is going to face an accident, would be out of the show and we also knew he would come back .. I mean there was no effect on me as a viewer where I would feel .. oh Dev has died as in the episode some of the characters are claiming and I having any sympathy towards the family .. I already know all that is going to happen so, where is any suspense and anguish? The channel and the production house should cut down on the amount of information they are giving to the media.

I agree with Bee's point of view.

People have lost interest because there is no suspense. Before we were all waiting for Dev to find out who his dream girl is , then if Radhika will tell Dev that she loves him, then the marriage proposal, then the wedding and then HM. Now what? Love story has come to a full circle.

Unfortunately CB creatives have not developed any other angle or any other character. Bringing in track after track to separate Ra-Dev and bring them back together is not working and is not going to work.

bee5 I agree with ur points, that there is no more suspense in the story b4 Dev and Shantanu died, it was already shown in the reports and as a viewer I did not get any shock. In fact there was no need of me to watch the serial at all, as the suspense was out.

Since you are in India, you really feel the commotion generated by these promos etc .. You see it in while watching the episode at the botton of the screen, in between the episodes in advertisements, then there are advertisements just bcos they have to make up some time after one programme finishes and next one start ... and this happens all day long if one is watching Zee TV channel. I used to feel the same when I was in India.

Being here we have access only to the online episodes which are devoid of all the in between advertisements and have access only to the online promos that are posted and news channel segments and we don't see them all day long. So, we don't really get the same feel as the viewers in India, but this itself I feel is too much.

About PR, since the DishTV info bar update was already out, it was known that divorce would happen, but you are saying they did maintain the suspense till the end for the Indian viewers and CB is unable to do the same. As you say, CB might not be giving out the info that generate curiosity and giving out the key details out.

Looks like the CVs are heading this way but still it has only been one article.
