I've tried writing a poem....

This is probably my first and last time writing a poem as I think I'm rubbish at it...

Please forgive me if there are any mistakes...

A Snowy Day

I look ahead, everything covered in snow,

Frozen in time.

A white blanket carefully placed by God.

No people, no nothing,

Flowers dead, trees covered in ice,

Iceicles dangling down from the tree branches.

Teeth crushed together from the freezing weather,

Shivering in the cold.

No-one to put their arm around me,

No-one to hold my hand,

No-one to befriend me.

Closing my eyes, I take a step forward in the lonely atmosphere.

I slip,

My foot twisted,

Unable to get up,

I struggle,

I panic.

A hand infront of me, helping me,

Someone to support me,

I look up, I see a tall fair man, smiling an elegant smile.

He holds my hand,

I can feel the warmth releasing from his hand.

He lifts me up, my face close to his,

His breath showering unknown happiness,

His eyes sparkling rays of hope,

His body crushes against mine.

I look back, I see an unexpected sight,

I see two pairs of footprints, a smile lits up my face.

I realise, I was never alone,

He was always behind me, to help me when I fall....

I hope you liked it.....
