Tonight I watched Friday's India episode (aired Monday in the US). I noticed a glaring blooper and couldn't help but scowl at the CVs lack of attention to detail. In the part where Dev was shown rolling off the hill and onto the tree branch, it is obvious that a stunt double was used because 1.) The man who was rolling had curly hair and our Dev has straight hair 2.)Dev was wearing chappals (well after being thrown from his car, he was probably barefoot!) but the stunt double had on very obvious rubber soled boots! My goodness, couldn't they have chosen a stunt man with hair like Dev's? And why did they have to have the stunt double wear boots for goodness sake? A good stunt person would have been able to do the scene in chappals or even bare foot!

I don't mean to whine about small things, but it's the lack of attention to detail that gets on my nerves! It's like the CVs and CB technical team are not even interested in putting on a good show for viewers! They are so lax in every department and they think the audience is stupid and won't notice such things! Gosh, I wish the entire unit would undergo a make-over and fix these problems! The weight of the show can't be carried on the actors' shoulders alone, the behind the scenes folks have to be more involved and take the show seriously in order for it to work. Everything from the writing to the editing to the make-up and clothes is below average. Yes, lately the clothes have been better but I think I would much rather prefer good writing/screenplay and originality rather than pretty clothes!

I agree with you totally Sandeepa.

There are too many bloopers--and the editing is very poor as well. The scenes are not planned at all. It seems like differnt scenes are shot and then they are put together in some order to try and make some story.

It feels more and more than some of thew creatives have already moved on to other projects and don't have their heart into CB. It feels to me like we care more for CB than the creative team. DJ's should really get back in the game. The cast and the crew deserve so much more than the mediocre dialogues and poor story line.

The current track can be powerful if handled right. May be they can unravel some mystery rather than Shantanu just trying to kill Dev for Raj Purohit title and the trust. I sincerely hope there is a hidden motive(Kanha's motive) behind all this than what is just obvious.

Creative ____please wake up.

Yes, I agree with both of you. They used a stunt man and very poor editing. They don't know how smart the viewers are, We catch their every single mistake.

Sandeepa your last sentence nicely summed up my feelings for CB....whats the use of having good clothes when there is no story line.....no screenplay....no dialogue....no directors input and no editing.......is CB a serial with a story or a fashion show!

Sandeepa, it goes to show that the track and dialogues are so poor that when watching an episode, we are more focused on the bloopers than the story. The story is not gripping us AT ALL.
I wrote in Chahov's thread on Sunday that the only analogy I can think of with new clothes, etc. is like a dollar store cheapie gift wrapped in a Hallmark gift wrap!
