I want to share a story from the Bible and it's relation with CB'.

In the beginning of the time Adam and Eve were created by God and He gave them a beautiful Garden of Eden to live. After letting them live there he instructed them that they could enjoy everything and eat anything but they should not eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and he said the day you shall eat you shall surely die.

Well the Devil comes and tempts Eve to look at the fruit which looked so good and also assured that they will not die.. So instead of listening to God Eve listened the voice of Devil and ate the fruit. She tasted it felt good also saw that she did not die right away than she called her husband and he ate it too. And when God came in the evening to visit them they hid themselves. So when God asked them where they were, they said they are hidden as they could not come in front of him as they were naked.. God asked as if how they knew they were. Adam said we ate the fruit of Good and evil and we know it.. So as God is the righteous one and cannot tolerate the presence of sin. He had to drive them away from Garden.

Ok here is the little explanation of the story. This is purely my interpretation..

Adam and Eve were created in the image of God. So the moment Eve ate the fruit Adam would have know about it.. In spite of that Adam came and ate the fruit. Eve was tempted and was blinded by Devil but not Adam. Adam definitely knew what Eve did and what will be result of that act. My question here is why did Adam purposely eat the fruit? He definitely knew the result of it. He will be separated from God. He will lose all his glory and will have to be driven out from the presence of God. He will lose his fellowship with God and most of all he will be dead spiritually.. Before the fall Adam and Eve had the glorious body and they were covered by the glory of God. The moment they sinned the glory departed from them and they saw they were naked and had to hid themselves from the presence of God.. God also knew that they have sinned and that they were hiding.. but God still came to visit them to let them know what they did and what will be there punishment and that he will send the savior to redeemed them. But God had to drive them away from the Garden of Eden, as that Garden also had the tree of life and if they eat the fruit of life they would stay in their sinful state forever and never could get redeemed. So to save them from further disaster he had to drive them away to hard earth to toil and produce their own food and work for their survival.

Here is my theory..

If Adam did not eat the fruit, Adam would have stayed sinless and only Eve would have got the punishment from God. And would have been separated from him forever. Adam loved Eve so much that to redeem her he also ate the fruit and became as sinful as hers and so when the salvation of God would come they both would get redeemed together. As without eating the fruit he would have to lose his wife and be separated from her forever. He could not have stayed in glory and let his wife go out of Garden and have to deal with her life alone in the whole wide world. He could never be happy enjoying his sinless status while Eve was dying in the sin. That would separate Eve from him forever. He had to be with her. So he ate the fruit and became as sinful as hers and had to leave the garden with her. After that there were lot of consequences and so many things started brewing in their lives and they waited all their lives for the salvation of God. During their earthly lives of almost 920 years (Adam lived that much) They called on God all the time remembering the glory of garden and expecting to go back there.

God made the plan of salvation before He created Adam and Eve cause He knew what would happen.. So it is said that Chirst the 2nd and the Last adam also had to come to the world and be separated from God to save his bride the church.. as the redeemer of the mankind.

My connection to the CB....

I think Dev here knew that what Radh was doing was totally wrong. He knew that he would never be able to act on the final act. So when Radh almost dragged him why did he allowed himself to be dragged in the sinful act..

Dadi's words to Dev were so significant.. She asked Dev and you Dev how could you allow yourself to agree on those conditions of immoral act.. As Dev has been raised by Dadi. Dadi had full confidence on him. He would never ever do those kinds of things. Dev has the personality never to bow down to injustice. That is the way Dadima has raised him.

But Radh was not raised that way.. In the name of sacrifice she was always been led to give up right things and do the wrong things. So in spite of being the Kanha devotee she has always taken the decision on her misconception and always did not act on right things and kept on protecting the wrongs of Vishakha all the time. Babuji always have told Radh to be careful for all those things. Dev also has seen her doing the same thing over and over again. And now in dadima's court both Dev and Radhika were guilty as charged.

When Dev comes to Radh and says Radhika I know your truth and he looks in to her eyes with so much love and so much comfort... Here I do not know the implication of how much Dev knows about Radh's truth and does he really know or just comforting her. But his words reminded me this incident of the Bible that Adam became sinful to redeem Eve.. Did our Dev do the same thing? To redeem Radh completely from her misconception of sacrifice, he almost took upon himself to be called immoral and identified himself with his wife and did not leave her alone and stayed with her all the way so that his precious Radh can be totally free from all the web of this lies and be completely free????

Thank you Eva for sharing such a great story. I knew this story from school but never looked into the details and never wondered why Adam actually ate the fruit knowing that he will be seperated from God. Now I know he did it becuase he did not want to be seperate from his love - Eve.

Thank you ladies..
I am glad you liked my interpretation. Yes Adam did it for his love and I still have hope that Dev would do the same for his Radh..

Here is my theory..(Eva)

Adam loved Eve so much that to redeem her he also ate the fruit and became as sinful as hers and so when the salvation of God would come they both would get redeemed together. As without eating the fruit he would have to lose his wife and be separated from her forever. He could not have stayed in glory and let his wife go out of Garden and fend her life alone in the whole wide world. He could never be happy enjoying his sinless status while Eve was dying in the sin. That would separate Eve from him forever. He had to be with her. So he ate the fruit and became as sinful as hers and had to leave the garden with her. WOW!....eventhough i heard this story from my childhood, never thought it this way...separation od adam..and Eve..... Thanks for sharing such wonderful insight....

Evasumi what a beautiful post. 👏
I know that many people know this story but i never connected this with CB but it is a nice interpretation that dev didnt want to leave radhika also and thats why he let himself be dragged by radhika.
When you described radhikas and devs youth about that radhika has always learned to sacrifice ehr happiness for others and that dev always wants justice i really realized that dev and radhika are really opposites on that part. They have had such a different childhood but they both have become mature and they truly love each other. Their story is really magical 😃😛
