I have been very disturbed to see a lot of Avina's personal pictures splashed on a public forum like this. Granted these pictures are not damaging or demeaning nonetheless they are their private pictures. It is one thing to post pictures of their public appearances or from the sets. I am not pointing my finger only at the members who recently posted the pics, when I say that a true fan would not go about stealing their pictures by getting a back door entry into their FB accounts. This trend started few months back when I noticed some fans from this forum (you know who you are) and many others were getting on the FB accounts of Avina's co actors and friends (I wonder why they accept people they don't even know on their friends list) and some private pictures started leaking out. I immediately alerted Avi about it and he promptly had those set of pictures deleted. Thankfully the person who leaked those set of pictures had the decency to not splash some extremely private pictures taken in their home and other places. Hopefully they will not make an appearance on this or any other public forums ever.
Avina are very young and still very innocent and immature about certain things. They are not savvy about internet privacy and do not have the time to do much about it. I don't think they understand the consequences of the digital footprints they leave behind I have been in touch with Avi but it is hard to help when I am half a world away and he is so busy. From my brief interaction with him, he comes across as a genuinely nice, hardworking person. and I want to do whatever I can to help him.
I know many of you may not agree with my views and may even want to throw brickbats at me because you enjoy looking at those pictures. But as a genuine well wisher of Avina I thought the least I can do is to discourage this trend by voicing my opinion.
I hope atleast some of you agree with me and if you don't I would love to hear your views.

Its one thing when a poster takes permission to use/post a private picture of an actor and explicitly states so when posting, but its disturbing when people don't respect privacy and just go about posting pictures without permission.
Although the truth is, any actor (or any party associated with said actor) who befriends (on FB) an individual that they do not know personally and allows them access to personal pictures, then they are exposing themselves to the world. A digital footprint cannot be erased so easily, in fact websites such as FB often can use anything that you have posted even after you delete your account. Until actors, for example Avinash and Rubina, make a public statement that they would not like to have their pictures reposted, or ask that anybody doing so take explicit permission, or take action to make such photographs unviewable to those that they do not know, actions such as those you stated will continue. Looking at it from another point of view, perhaps they may find it common courtesy to not have personal photographs reprinted and expect such conduct intrinsically.
Internet privacy is a large problem in general and a highly contested issue; in terms of your post, I feel that both sides would be "at fault". One side for posting pictures of themselves on the internet, where all boundaries of privacy are easily crossed, and the other side for re-posting such pictures on extraneous websites.

I absolutely agree with you....... both the parties are at "fault". That is why when it started a few months back I did not blame the posters, instead I alerted Avi.
As you said internet security should not be taken lightly and the digital footprint you leave behind is virtually ineraseable . But for an impulsive 20 something who is high on success and fame it is not easy to comprehend.
This post was not meant to put a blame on any individuals. I was merely bringing attention to the trend and trying to get atleast a few members to join me in discouraging those that are tempted to do these things. But judging from the lack of response I think most people see no problem in this.😲

I totally agree with you 100%. It is sad to see it happen, once i saw a post with Avi's cell number on it. I think if we are fans we need to definitely respect their privacy. These are young kids with absolutely no time for a personal life and in the midst of that to have fans attack them from all sides. This is just uncalled for. I love the actors and hopefully would like to meet them some time in my life but definitely do not like to see their personal life being published all over. Some time ago we also got to see some pics of Rubina with her family. I felt really bad as am sure someone she knew close must have leaked those. They need their space and and respect their privacy. I think as fans we need to give them that.

AvinaPal... I did not post earlier bcos I agreed with you ... in general, it would be great if we avoided peeping into Avina's personal life.

However, people on this forum are genuine fans and do not do this with a malicious intent. While we should stay away from encouraging these kind of posts, Avina should also be careful abt what they put up on the internet. They are young but I hope they have someone advising them against posting personal pics that they do not want others to see, esp on Facebook. Since they have achieved a fair amt of success in a short period of time, it may be hard for them to deal with but they do need to be aware of this

While members on this forum are mostly genuine and are true Avina fans and excited to see something abt them, some of these pics could be used or pulled up by other sites or other people with a malicious intent. I would say that the responsibility for this is at both ends ... they should not put up anything on the internet that they want to keep private and we should discourage those kind of posts

Avinapal, it's not that poeple don't see a problem with what you posted about, it's just that the argument is a bit complicated. How can we decide who is to blame who is right and who is wrong?
Is it the fault of the overzealous posters who want to share details of their favorite actos' lives with other fans, or should we blame Avinash and Rubina for being careless and not using the privacy setting while posting their photos? Also, the argument becomes a question of freedoms and rights. Avinash and Rubina are fully entitled to opening facebook accounts and posting photos just like any average person. Being celebrities does not bar them from doing this, but it does place somewhat of a condition on them; because they are public figures they need to be aware of what they post/upload because it can be copied and indeed stays behind even if deleted. Worse yet, celebrities are often stalked by crazed fans (I'm not saying anyone on IF would stoop that low, but I'm just making a point about internet safety) so it's in their best interest to protect themselves by not accepting friend requests from people they don't know and by making their personal photos private. As you pointed out, a young, attractive twenty-something year old riding the waves of succes and fame may not think they need to do this because the world is his/her oyster. As Avina's well-wisher and friend you are looking out for them and that's commendable. On the other hand, if a fan sees an opportunity to grab some exclusive pics of their favorite stars because the information is readily available at their fingertips, is that fan's freedom and right to look at and share that material being encroached upon?
While it is exciting for fans to learn more about their favourite stars and see photos of them off screen, I do not in any way support any fans or forum members using deceptive, dishonest, or morally incorrect methods to obtain information about celebrities, If photos and videos of our favorite stars have been posted publicly for us to enjoy then I don't see any harm in us viewing and discussing them.
To me it's a complicated argument...does one blame the celebrity or the fans? As a die hard fan of Avina I'd find it a little saddening to not be able to keep up with news about their lives or see new photos of them...but I certainly would not want to invade their privacy in any way.
Thank you for your post.
P.S.: Whatever photos I have used in my siggies are all photos that were publicly posted and not stolen by anyone and then splashed on this forum or anywhere else.

I do believe that those picture were at the private party and only for the personal friends... but these have been out for quite a while and been on the internet all these time.
The person who uploaded the pictures at the Facebook must know that it is a public place and anybody can access it... The person must be a close friend of Avinash and Rubina and that's why he had access to those pictures or he could take those.
As a viewers and as a fan I would like to say this ...
Avi and Rubina are public figures and what they do behind the scene interest so many of their fans. When you are famous it comes witht the territory...
So what I am trying to say is that the Pictures were posted as to apprecite them more and be happy for them that they do enjoy their life out of CB world.. not with any other motives of bad publicity or to expose them or do any damage it is just to be happy to see them out of CB land.....
And that's why they were posted here at the CB forum and not on the common forum... So that who ever are interested in Avinash and Rubina can see them and be happy about it... and not other people...
But we at the CB forum would also like to assure you that when we see any pictures of them either private or related to show... Our reaction is always happiness for them as actors and as people... We are the fan of Avinash and Rubina and we love them and the thought of harming their image or intruding on their privacy would not enter our head.
Yes I do believe that Avinash and Rubina are very young... they could be the age of our siblings our nephews and nieces or may be our sons and daughters...
But I am sure they know a lot about being the public figure and being the heart thorb of so many...
It is their immense popularity that make people go and search the internet for any info or pictures... I do hope that they are not "Disturbed" by this innocent posting of the private pictures...
I personally would not condemn anybody who posted the pictures... It was available on the internet and the person thought to share with all the fans who love and adore Avinash and Rubina so very much...
And if I was Avinash or Rubina I would not even delete them ... they were lovely innocent pictures and if my fans got an access to it and enjoyed them... well and good. May be in future I would be careful not to allow access to my personal pictures but other than than I would not feel offended at all... Rather I would just laugh at the craziness of my fans and love them for their tenacity to search for it...
So I hope they won't be too "disturbed" for the desires of their fans to know little more about them ..
Hope Avinash and rubina sees it that way and is not disturbed too much...
AvinaPal...
You seems to know him personally... Please convey our message that we love them and we want to see more of them all the time and also that as they are very popular and well loved actors... they will just have to get used to of the desire of their fans to know more about them...
And it does come with the territory of being a successful and well loved actors
It is not any attack on their privacy or making them feel "Disturbed"... It is acutually our love for them that made us go and search for them.... It is actually the right of their fans to know about them...
I hope that Avinash and Rubina will take if lightly and would not feel bad because their fan's love.

AvinaPal.. here is an important lesson for not just celebrities but also for any average person.

My personal opinion is if you as poster have posted pictures and accept any person as a friend, you are asking for it. Don't blame the people who are posting on this forum. Your privacy is in your control.

You wanted to be an actor, you wanted fame.. now you have it, this is the flip side of fame... If someone breaks into their house and takes a picture, that is against the law and crosses the line... but if the celebrity has posted the pictures in public forum, then yes, it is public property... just today it is plastered all over that Sandra Bullocks hubby cheated on her with some tattooed stripper.. if Sandra Bullock was some middle aged lady is some suburb, yes it is heartbreaking for her, but the whole world won't know about your humiliation.. that your hubby preferred some skank to you... you give up your right to privacy as soon as you step into limelight, you can't have your cake and eat it too...

I am sorry but that is the reality.. if Avinash didn't want pics of him with hookha or bong to come out, then he shouldn't have posted it... it is that simple...
