Part 1
The episode begins with a re-play of Vishaka hopping onto Purab's motorbike saying, Purab hurry up lets go! Rads sees them and puts her hand up in the air as if to stop them. As the bike zooms away, she frantically says Ma! Babuji! At the mandap, Jamuna kaki shouts to Amma, arre where is the bride, what's going on? Shastriji asks Devaki to check what the problem is and why there is a delay with Vish coming out. Devaki runs into Rads on her way to the house and asks her what's wrong, did Vishaka refuse to come to the madap? Rads looks like a deer caught in the headlights of a car and stammers, Ma, Vishaka...ran away from home! Devaki looks like a combination of shocked and constipated and moans, Thakurji! Thakurji! Rads holds Devaki's hand to stabilize her and tells her that she tried to stop Vish, but Vish ran away with Purab. Shastriji calls for Devaki, asking what the matter is. Amma gets up from the mandap and comes to Devaki and asks what's going on. Devaki informs her that Vish ran away and Amma basically says, I knew it, I told you so! See, this is what happens when you force a girl to get married and treat her like a cow or buffalo you can buy and sell. Radhika is ridiculously bititng her nails, and a woman in a green saree (must be a wedding guest or nosy neighbour) overhears the conversation and screams, Dulhan bhagayi (the bride ran away) in an echo effect. Camera cues the shocked faces of Shastriji, the groom and his family, and PF members. Meanwhile Purab and Vishaka pull up to what appears to be a bus stand. Vish thanks Purab for everything, saying that he's helped her a alot, even more so than her own family. Purab replies, mention not Cuties...God chooses our family members but we ourselves choose our friends. Remember Cuties, you can contact me for help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...but Cuties, where will you go now? The police are after you and you cannot go to Mumbai. Vish replies that she must stay in Vrindavan as trying to leave the town's boundaries may pose a danger to her. She and Purab say their goodbyes and Purab again reminds her to call him if she needs help. Vish boards a bus. It's not clear where the bus is going. Back at the mandap, Rajesh's (the groom) mother demands to know what kind of tamasha this is.
Part 2
Mr. and Mrs. Sharma demand to know where Vishaka is and whom she ran away with, putting the family to shame. They complain that how can they show their faces in society now. Rajesh's mom tells Shastriji that he should feel lucky that they chose his daughter for Rajesh. They were getting rishtas from so many families with young, single girls who wanted to marry Rajesh but they chose Vishaka. Rajesh's dad bellows that they rejected those offers ans chose Vishaka because they thought she would have Shastriji's sanskars and good upbringing. Shastriji is looking down, speechless and ashamed, Devaki is weeping, and Amma also looks disturbed. Rajesh's mother continues her speech and says: when we heard that Vishaka left her first husband we felt that the fault was not hers, rather that there was something wrong with the Purohit family. We felt sorry for Vishaka that she got such awful in-laws. Shastriji holds up his hands and says, please stop. I will not have you stand here and insult my samdhis. But Rajesh's mother continues her rant and says, well something must be wrong with the Purohits...first they marry their son to one of your daughters, then to the other...I wonder what they love about your family so much? Maybe this is the custom of their home, to bring daughter-in-laws one after another. Dadi, Vaishali, Dev, Radhika, etc. look very upset at hearing this. Mrs. Sharma again says that they chose Vishaka thinking she would be a good mother to Rajesh's daughter since she was brought up in the Shastri family, but it seems like by running away Vishaka has revealed the true nature of the Shastri family: that they have no morals or values at all. Mr. Sharma sarcastically says that both the Shastri and Purohit families are exactly alike and are made for one another because both have no morals. He and his wife demand to know what to do about this mess now. Shastriji tells them he has nothing to do with this wedding or with Vishaka (he calls her "the girl getting married") and explains to them that he has done Vishaka's tarpan. He asks forgiveness from them for their having to come all this way and be insulted by "that girl". The Sharmas begin to leave and Devaki tearfully says, wait, please listen to me. Mrs. Sharma cuts her off and asks, now what is there left to listen to? Radhe Radhe! The Sharmas all leave. Dadi tells Shastriji that the Purohits too will now take his leave. She adds, I didn't think we'd come here to hear all of these insults. Shastriji folds his hands and tells her that he doesn't know if he should even hope for forgiveness from her. Susheel butts in and says, there's no need to apologize. We all foresaw this and knew that we'd be coming here to witness some nautanki (entertainment) like this. Mrin adds, forget it Shastriji. Maybe you have no respect but we Purohits do. Dadi scolds her but Susheel jumps in and says, well what do you expect us to say, Chachima? How many times will we have to be insulted because of Shastriji's daughter? Each time it happens he just does the same mudra (folding of hands) and begs forgiveness from us. Dadi tells Shastriji that it's not his fault and even if one places a bitter gourd in sugar water overnight, the bitterness still doesn't go away. Vishaka is one such gourd (🤣 Oh my God, these writers! Vah, kya dialogue!)
Part 3
Dadi says, we just came here to support our choti bahu...but along with you, we too had to be insulted. I hope that in my life I never have to see Vishaka's face ever again. She tells Radhika, come let's go now and the family leaves. Radhika lingers behind and talks to a weeping Devaki, telling her to control herself and that this must be destiny's plan. Devaki apologizes for Radhika's in-laws getting insulted and frets that because of what happened what if the Purohits treat Radhika badly. Rads replies, no Ma, they are very nice and would never do that. They don't hold me or you responsible for what happened. Radhika then says that she doesn't feel like leaving Devaki in this condition and can she stay in Vrindavan for tonight (Nooooo Radhika! Get the hell out of there fast before Amma corners you!) Thankfully Shastriji steps in and says, Radhika, problems and turmoil happen in all families. This does not mean that the daughter of the family should leave her husband's home and return to her parents' home to solve their problems. Rads then takes Devaki's leave. In the car, Vaishali says to Rads, don't cry choti bahu. Mrin interupts and says, Radhika, you must've known beforehand something like this was going to happen, being her sister and all. If she rejected the son of Delhi's Purohit family, why in the world would she settle for a simple school teacher? She must've gone back to Mumbai, so what's the big deal. Dev says, bhabi, Radhika needs our support right now. How is what Vishaka did Radhika's fault? Mrin retorts that it is Radhika's fault because she dragged all of them to Vishaka's wedding. Dev looks at Radhika and says, well from now on Radhika will never do anything like this...and kindly do not mention Vishaka's name again, Mrinalini bhabi. Radhika looks pensive. Back at the Shastri home Devaki and Shastriji are sitting on the floor in the dark and Amma comes into the room and switches on the light. She begins barking, what is wrong with you two? You're sitting here as though nothing happened! Go and look for your daughter! She then mumbles to herself, I wonder if Vishaka has even eaten today. In her condition she has to eat. She then turns back to Shastriji and Devaki and says, go, go find her quickly, I will keep her locked in her room, but just find her. Devaki refuses to look for Vishaka or have anyone else do so. She tells Amma that it was a mistake ever letting Vish return home in the first place. She then says aaj pehli baar mujhe apni cok par sharam aarahi hai (today for the first time I'm ashamed of my womb for carrying Vishaka for nine months).
Part 4
Devaki begins beating her stomach area and cries, rather than being a mother to a girl like Vishaka it would've been better if I were barren and unable to conceive at all! She then hugs Amma and sobs loudly, calling Vishaka a disgrace. Amma eyes widen and she says, Bahuriya, what are you saying! At PB, Rads is sitting on her bed crying. Dev comes over to her and takes both of her hands in his. He tells her to consider everything that happened a bad dream and just forget it. Radhika replies I can forget what happened but how can I forget about Vishaka, she's my sister. Where could she be and in what condition? Dev impatiently says, Radhika you are STILL thinking about the person who never thought of anyone but herself? Rads begins her sermon about how she knows what Vishaka did was wrong and she really hurt Babuji, but there must've been some reason behind her actions. Perhaps she had no other choice. Dev gets annoyed and says, it's not that she didn't have any other choice or was helpless...it's the type of person she is. Vishaka is selfish and she knows only how to hurt others and reap any benefit for herself. From now on there will be no mention of Vishaka in this house! I request you also to please stop thinking about Vishaka. Why should we worry about a girl who has no respect or feeling for her own father? Radhika says, but...and Dev immediately cuts her off and strongly says ENOUGH Radhika! I told you once and for all that there is no need to mention Vishaka's name again. I don't want it that because of her you are upset or in any kind of distress. Radhika is silent and looks down and Dev kind of sneaks sidelong glances at her (as if to see if she's going to try to object or argue 😆) Dev then softens his tone and tells Radhika he does not want to see her unhappy at any cost. He says, do you realize Radhika, for the past two days we have not been alone together at all. I have been waiting for the moment you and I will be alone together with no interuptions. Haven't you also been waiting for this moment like me? Rads nods yes and says we each got so busy doing our various duties that we were not able to make time for another. Dev says, well now we have all the time in the world. He smiles and put his hand on Rads' cheek. Rads also smiles and they gaze into eachothers' eyes. They lean into one another and are about to kiss when suddenly the phone rings. Dev says let it ring but Rads says it might be an important phone call. Dev leaves the room and Rads answers it. Damn! It's Vishaka calling from a phone booth with some rowdy guys nearby. Rads asks her why she left and where she is now. Vish replies that what else could she do but run, all her happiness was snatched away from her. She says the person I love has gone to jail and I'm alone. Radhika you are the one who told me that you would find a better groom for me than even Dev Raj Purohit. While she's talking, a couple of creepy looking guys are advancing towards the phone booth and throwing down glass bottles. Vish looks scared but continues to talk to Rads, saying first Babuji threw me out of the house, then you left me there to die. Rads asks Vishaka where she is and at the same time one of the men pushes open the phone booth. Vish screams and drops the phone. Rads says, hello, Vishaka? Vishaka can you hear me? Suddenly Dev enters the room (after changing into his white kurta pajama) and Rads turns to look at him, her face full of fright. Dev asks, who is on the phone Radhika? Rads is speechless and the episode ends on her scared face.
Precap: Shastriji is asking Devaki what's wrong. Devaki replies that her mind is very restless and she feels like both of her daughters are in some kind of big trouble and something horrible might happen.
My comments: All I have to say is that I HOPE TO GOD THAT RADHIKA DOES NOT LIE TO DEV AND SNEAK OUT OF THE HOUSE TO FIND VISHAKA! 😡 Radhika better not get herself hurt or injured in any way trying to save Vishaka again! Do you hear me Radhika? STAY HOME WITH YOUR HUSBAND!
