I posed this seemingly innocent question to my husband. Then I launched into a detailed explanation on what lakshman rekha was. He was very intrigued ... he could actually draw a line in the sand and make me stay. Quickly told him it did not work with me ... since I was very wise and mature 😊
Anyway, as he thought abt it, he came up with a few ... and his usually happy face took on a tortured expression
- Remember the day you went out at night in the rain (when I asked you not to) ... to do some last minute shopping for your India trip, forgot the cell phone at home, thought gas on empty meant you could drive another 30 miles ... and had to walk on the freeway to the nearest call box to get AAA and then you called me from the AAA guy's number?
- Remember the day you went for a business dinner, lost your way, went into a seedier part of town and then walked over to a nearby store to call me to get directions??
My husband has temporarily stopped to thank the GOD who invented GPS and cell phones. He also wishes someone would invent something that would ensure that the gas tank in my car never went empty and that some invention in the door would prevent me from doing any late night visits to the grocery store
Anyway, he could go on and on. But wanted to know from you out there ... have you ever crossed the line that your husband/significant other would like to draw for you ... or done something that you felt could have gotten you into trouble
