Today being the last day of the year 2009

Vivek is entering in the house with the tray of Prasad and offers it to Mrinalini who was arranging her closet.. When Mrin ask what was the occasion.. Vivek explains that it was from the puja Radh did for Dev' safe return. Mrin gets mad and says keep it away from me and sits on the bed reading some magazine. Vivek comes forward to offer it again but mrin angrily signals him to put the tray on the table.. Crushed Vivek puts the tray away but with a small smile say how much they love each other.. Dev did not even care for his own life' Mrin sarcastically says so what Dev was the only one who has done something for radh all the time.. what did radh did for Dev? Vivek says oh it is not like that Radh understands the responsibilities of a good wife and a good DIL otherwise not only today but also yesterday in the Brihashpati puja why would she ware all those heavy cloths and all those heavy jewellery which made her condition even worse.. Mrin nonchalantly says so what? What's the big deal.. I mean this puja was only for her.. but for me none of these rasams were done.. Vivek reminds her that may you have forgotten but when you came in this house as a new bride we kept the brihashpati puja for you too but at that time these Purohit family's jewels were out of style and the cloths were very old fashion for you.. Vivkek really put that in such a manner that Mrinalini looked hurt.. Vivek did not see that but says regretfully and look the result of not doing the puja we are at his junction.. Mrin is hurt and now really angry.. she gets up from her chair and approaches Vivek.. and says through her teeth.. do mean to say that we do not have any child because I did not do the puja? Than she bends down and comes eye level with Vivek and starts screaming at Vivek let me tell you we do not have kids because few days after our marriage you had that accident and you became dependent of this wheel chair and that's the reason today that Radhika is getting all the honor.. Vivek smiles at her outburst and says very softly that honor is not acquired in begging.. you have to earn the honor Mrin is more crestfallen. Vivek softly laughs and says the honor Radhika is getting in this house is her right.. He looks at his wife dejected face with a smile and says .. this is the difference between you two.. She was not in any condition to sit in the puja than also she came for puja and you; you were well enough but insulted the puja.. looking at the face of Mrinalini you could see that the truth really hurts..

Vivekbabu is on today.. he strikes the last nail in the wall... he says and you will see that very soon they both will give the heir to this family.. Mrinalini as if was white with rage.. Vivek exactly knew that his words are causing havoc in his wife's head and he says and no body can put any evil thoughts on their happiness.. and looking sideways at his wife he says no ones.. Humiliated thus by her handicapped husband Mrinalini had actually tears in her eyes and may be more determination in her heart to putdown precious CB of the family

It is early morning next day and Radh has started morning puja by watering the Tulsi plant.. Dadima walks in on the scene when Radh with closed eyes was doing pranam to tulsi plant and she does the same. She calls Choti bahu, and radh opening her eyes sees dadima and bends down to touch her feet and does pranam but dadima stops her saying you have difficulties bending down so why do you do that?.. than lovingly touching her cheek she says my blessings are always with you.. than she puts her hands as a blessing on Radh's head saying sada suhagan raho.. be prosperous and have kids.. but than dadi says why are you here so early? Radh smiles and says now my health has improved a lot so now I want to start my daily chores with all the rituals and from today onward I want to look after the kitchen and food arrangement also.. Dadima says before you start cooking you need to do the puja of kitchen/gas and cook some sweet for all and than all will give you gift for the 1^st meal. Radh happily says than I will cook the sweet today. I do not want to delay it.. Dadima smiles at her enthusiasm. Radh says this morning has brought me a new life.. let me conclude this puja. Dadima blessed her again and leave her to do conclude the puja at Tulsi. Radh was arranging something at temple bending down and Dev walk in.. He does pranam to idols and looking at radh he ask what was she doing.. Happily radh says I am preparing for the aarti.. I already watered the tulsi plant.. But looking at this Dev gets upset and says but radhika I told you not to do all these until you are totally well. Radh says but I am getting better.. Dev looks exasperate.. Radh says after you did you vow I am feeling much better.. Frustrated Dev says Radh all that is well but until you are well you will not do any work.. come with me I will take you to the room.. but radh says no please let me do my duties.. Dev looks at her she says I want to rise per everybody's expectations. Dev says but Radhika everybody knows your condition and they do not expect anything from you.. Radh is still being stubborn and says it does not mean that I should not do my duties.. Now that really infuriated Dev, he shakes his head and leaving her alone at mandir and walks out angrily.. little sad Radh keeps looking at his departing back.

At VR.. babuji is doing the morning tulsi puja.. Amma is thinking about what would she do to bring Vish home' she thinks in her head.. As Babuji comes in Devki brings the milk but babuji does not want it. He says after Radh went everything is changed.. Devki says but your daughter is coming for padphera.. Babuji is happy Amma thinks that Radh will be able to tell babuji to bring back Vish and it has to be done asap.. She says if you want to bring Radh than you better go today as tomorrow the Krishana paksha starts (15 days before amavasya which are called dark days and nothing good work is done in that period') so it is good that you go today and bring her.. Babuji is happy with that as he forgot about that..

Radh is putting the swastik on the door frame of kitchen and enters the kitchen she also does that on gas stove and does aarti of stove.. After a while Mrinalini says oh what a pleasant surprise dev did not come to find his radhika rani. Does he know that his wife is working today? Dadima says CB please boil the milk for shagoon and she will send the maid to help her out.. Mrinalni as if very sweetly says dadima if the assistant of the maids are required than why this drama of the 1^st rasoi.. dadima calmly says because the circumstances are such.. Mrinalni says whatever the circumstances but the rasam is of 1^st rasoi' Radh listens to this and does not like that Mrinalini would have chance to find fault in her 1^st rasoi.. She softly says dadima, didi is right I will handle everything myself.. as soon as she says this Dev enters and declares that there will not be any 1^st rasoi here all look back at him.. Radh quickly goes to him and stands in front of him.. He says I told you Radhika.. but Radh says today is my 1^st rasoi and it is my bahu Dharma please let me keep that.. Dev gets mad and says to listen to your husband is also you duties.. come with me you need to rest.. Dadima and Vaishali looks at them.. Radh syas softly I am your wife and the CB of this house and this house also has the same right on me as you do. She says I cannot runaway from my responsibilities.. Dev gives her a frustrated look.. And there Vaishali says let her do this rasam. Dev looks at his mother and than Radh's requesting him with his eyes to let her do this' Dev gets more annoyed and leave kitchen without a word.. Radh wanted to stop him but he left in a jiffy.. Mrinalni made the comments oh now there might not be any 1^st rasoi. But Radh walks back to the gas stove.. dadima looks at her and has a tiny smile. Vaishali I think was revealed??

If you look at the Radh's point of view and the hidden expectation of elder ladies of the house to do the rasams as the custom demanded than you would think she was at the right path.. than on the other hand if you look at the Dev's point of view who was more concern about Radh's health than the traditional rasams than you would think that he was right.. I think Radh did try to make him understand and let her do the rasoi but for Dev the most important thing is Radh. He is the son of the house and he can behave in public the same way as in private. But Radh is a daughter in law.. As much as she loves her husband and as much as she wants to listen to him but when the elders are there with her she needs to pay attention to them may be more than her husband . Dev can have a liberty to say anything and can get away with it but Radh needs to be attentive and obedient to her elders too.. We might think that Radh should have listen to Dev.. But Radh also needed to attend to this issue too. And I do think that here Radh politely asks him to allow her to finisht the rasams as the elders wish and also tries to make him understand that others also have as much right on her as he does and she is expected to live up to there expectation too.. But Dev's thing is... she is not well and not able to do anything right now and so she will not do it.. If she listen to her husband than she completely disobeys her elders and come shorts of their expectation.. So I think this was really delicate line for radh to walk.. She with a heavy heart choose to listen to the elders thinking that later on when they are alone she would ask forgiveness and make peace with Dev but if she listens to Dev and leaves with him at this point than she will consider short of her bahu duties and than it would be very difficult to establish further trust and relationship if she breaks this initial interaction. She knew that her Dev will forgive her and he would not stay mad with her for a longer time but these people would not forgive her for breaking the rasam except dadima of curse and will be difficult to make them understand too..

Looking at Radh coming to do the rasoi Mrin says oh lets go if she has chosen to do the rasoi than let her finish the work. Dadima and Vaishali leaves.. she was about to but than stops.. and after she tells deepika to walk out she goes back to Radh saying yesterday you did the upshagoon in mandir do not repeat that today with your rasoi.. be careful in lifting the milk vessels etc. Radh's heart was heavy and she rubs the salt in it..

Dev is standing and probably waiting for his wife to come and talk to him but instead Birju comes and says why are you standing here there Radh's rasoi is done.. than looking at his face he says what happen? Dev says Birju I want Rahika to rest and she is working overtime.... and she knows that I am mad at her but she did not come to pacify me.. He looked so cute sulking there standing stubbornly with folded hands Birju laughs and says oh are you baby that should be pacify.. with a fake anger dev says oh do not take her side.. Birju says than you also do not complaint about my bhouji+didi. Dev so cutely turns to him and says oh ok now your bhouji has came so you forgot about you bhaiya.. Birju teasingly says yea I did forget so what.. Dev in fake anger turns to him as if bit him up and Radh walks there' She gives him a soft smile but Dev looks at her and than diverts his gaze from her face the smile from Radh's face disappears.. Birju looks at this display and says oh this is it than he tells Radh now pacify him and leaves them alone to talk..

She slowly walks towards him and smiles at his sulky posture. She says with a hidden smile aren't you going to eat.. Dev madly says no.. She says ok. I have prepared the food but I will not serve anybody and stand with you here. Dev looks at her and her little sad face.. He says ok lets's go but walks alone ahead. Radh standing at swing smile a little..

Here in kitchen Mrinalini is doing her evil deeds.. She takes little bit of ghee and rubs on the outer surface of the serving bowl. She walks back to dinning area takes her seat on the table and signals chachaji that she has done her job now watch the drama' Radh and Dev were coming down the stair together. It was kind of lovely to watch.. Everyone was seated at table. Dev takes his seat at the head of the table and Radh stands nearby him waiting for maid to bring the kheer (rice pudding) bowl. As the maid approaches she takes the bowl from the maid and comes near Dev to put the bowl on the table near him.. Dev was sitting sideway waiting to assist if needed.. Mrinalni mouths the word watch to chachu.. She kept her spoon ready to startle Radh. Radh approaches table and the slippery bowls slips from her hand.. Looking at that mrinalini's face was smiling and all others were horrified including Radh. She looked down but the kheer bowl was in the outstretch hands of Dev.. who was looking at Radh saying because of this reason I want you to help.. Mrinalini sees bowl dropping starts smiling but as soon as she sees the destination in Dev's hand her smile vanishes.. Dev still has those displease look on his face. He kept the bowl on the table.. Radh stands there motionless.. Dadima says Dev, Please stop now Dev.. bowl did not drop and there is no upshagoon and she smiles at Dev.. Dev nodes slightly.. Dadima says Choti bahu.. and CB understood what was she suppose to do.. she takes a kheer in the bowl and picks up a little spoon than coming near to dev she offers a spoonful of kheer to Dev. But Dev turns his face on other side.. Our CB tries smiles to herself and walks behind Dev to go other side to offer him the kheer again.. she bends down takes the spoonful of kheer smiling a little blows on kheer to make it little cold.. Dev looks at her efforts and take the kheer. That makes Radh smile at him but he does not smile.. Dadima calls her saying choti bahu come here.. Radh keeps the bowl on the table from her hand and walks slowly to dadima.. Dadima says Choti bahu this is your gift for the first rasoi the kheer was really tasty.. Radh goes around the table and everybody gives her gifts.. even I could see Vaishali giving her the gift with a smile.. at last she comes to Mrinalini.. She says oh you do not need to touch my feet I will give you gift anyway.. and saying this she pulls a little coin.. all looks at this insulting gesture. Radh looks at it and just takes the gift and as it a really precious touches it with her head. Birju asks dev if he would give any gift Dev looks at him annoyingly. Dadima wisely asks Birju if the preparation for tuladan is done. Birju says yes it is done and he is waiting for the panditji tocome.. dadima tells Radh to go to her room and get ready for tuladan..

Radh is getting ready in their bedroom in dusty sky blue saree a maid is fixing her saree. She looks pretty but those long sleeve blouses are getting on my nerves.. She is thinking in her head and feeling sad ..he is so upset with me that he did not even give me a gift for my first rasoi.. It is my fault that I did not pacify him nicely.. Dev walks in the room looks at Radh and than walks in the room.. Radh sees him and calls him please listen and asks maid to leave. She walks towards him and says softly are you still mad at me.. Dev does not say a word.. She says forlornly wouldn't you say even a word to me.. Dev is still quite.. She lifts her hands and in apology touches her ears with a little smile.. Dev looks at her.. his eyes says you do not need to do that but he just kept on looking with those big eyes without a word.. He was about to say something but than Birju comes to call Radh and Dev saying you are needed down stairs asap as you father will come in a little while.. Dev says babuji.. Birju says yea babuji will come and take Radh with him for few days to VR for padphera.. both Dev and Radh looks at each other as if even the thought made them sad.. Looking at their faces he says ok you both come downstairs asap.. Dev and radh looks at each other sadly..

Precap: Radh is walking toward door looks at Dev he turns his face.. radh walks ahead.. Dev runs outside.. Radh was looking back sadly waiting for him to come.. as radh turns to sit he comes and she does not see him.. Dev looks at departing vehicle and is sad..

Oh boy! I did not like the last scene that Radh and Dev departed with sadness.. Hope they did not carry that misunderstanding in their heart.. Dev please go to VR asap and bring your Radh back.. but now there are 15 days of Krishna Paksha at VR who knows what will happen.. Is Radh required to stay there at 15 days still the Sukla paksha start.. At VR amma is ready to exploit Radh again for Vishakha.. I do not know what Radh will do.. Will she again try to solve Vish's problem. Hope she remembers that her husband gets mad when she did not listen to him..

I think this episode that Dev got upset with her twice for not listening to him and he had to use those words that as a wife it is her duty to listen to her husband twice in 24 hours.. may be embossed in her heart and she will remember not to make him further upset by doing anything at VR against his wish.

I think as now she is Radhika Dev Raj Purohit and not Radhika Shastri she would behave as one and Babuji would tell her not to interfere in anything as she is married and a guest of the house.. Hope amma's plan to use her does not work.. and if Dev is so mad at her for not listening to him she will not dare to offer Vish to come with her as she knows that Dev does not like that and she cannot go against her husband..

I think this episode has a real purpose to show getting mad like this and not get appeased by any thing till she went away with her father... They have shown Dev getting mad twice.. where as he promised at the wedding vachans that he would not allow any misunderstanding between them.

So let's see how this works in Radh Dev's favor.. Hope it does.. Radh is coming to VR under the same roof as Amma.. and there regretful Vish is sitting pregnant .. do not know what this two will do to Radh.. Hope Radh will stay in her boundary of married daughter of the family and stay as a guest there..
