Today babuji is so happy coz Dev gave him best news about his bitiya and revitalized his strength, as if without his radhika he was spiritually, emotionally, physically handicapped.... Yet he's missing his daily mandir duties, aartis, mandir bhakts. So akele mein unko ye bhajan yaad ata hai....

Good raag bhopali khayal indeed, M !!

Rem ? before vibhuti saga (MMMantra), epi 5/4, dev is at the terrace waiting for rads just before she's supposedly decided to go back to Vrin for good, just before he wants to give her the one last special gift of kanha locket , and its raining, dramatic and romatic nazara banane ke liye, and dev says ~

tumhe rokne ki mere paas koi bhi wajah nahin, kyonki tum to mujhse pyaar karti hi nahi.... shayad tumhe bhoolne mein mujhe kai din, kai mahine kai saal lag jayen, shayad ye zindagi bhi kam pad jaye ~ main tumhare liye kuch laya tha ~ krishnaya govindaya gopijan vallabhay.... dev pulls out the locket from his jeans pocket ~ wears it on her neck.... main tumhe bhool paun ya na bhool paun, lekin ye locket tumhe meri yaad zaroor dilayega.... ab tum ja sakti ho.... (some of these timeless dialogs, for me, leave such a lasting effect...)

Radhika is slowing drifting away from him.... it's still raining... and he sings

When the truth finally comes out and Dev is hopping mad at Rads for hiding it and tadpaoing him all this while, starts to walk away and Rads says...........

In the ashram, while radhika is struggling with herself and questioning kanha, she cant help but think of her babuji and maa, and has all kinds of flashbacks growing up, esp under her babuji's chhatra chhaya (english ?) .... aur ye shabd uske muh par aa jaate hain ~

Yeh to sach hai ki bhagwan hai

hai magar phir bhi anjaan hai

dharti pe roop maa baap ka

us vidhaata ki pehchaan hai....
