Written Update 26th March 2009

Highlights:

Radhika picks up Dev's handkerchief that he dropped unknowingly.

She is thinking that now that she has seen Dev and has something of his, she can leave.

She faints.

Birju tells Dev to go back to the temple as everyone is waiting for him.

Birju goes to check why the crowd has gathered.

Birju tells Radhika to come to the temple with him as he knows she loves Dev.

Birju informs her that Dev hasn't accepted Vishaka and his marriage. She needs to tell him the truth as this will prevent ruining three people's life ' Dev, Vishaka and Radhika.

Radhika goes to the temple with him, but reminds him of the oath and that she will the reveal the truth when the time is right.

Purohitji gets dizzy while standing up for the tilak.

Purohitji applies the tilak to Dev.

Everyone is shocked.

Radhika sees Dev and Birju in the market place and is so happy. Dev who is talking to Birju doesn't notice his handkerchief falling, but Radhika from the other side of the road notices it. She rushes through the crowd to grab it, while Dev and Birju leaves from there. She picks up the handkerchief and is smiling. She is thinking to herself that now I have seen him and even got something of his, Kanha. I can now go back to Vrindavan peacefully. Her head starts to spin and everything is blurry. She faints. A crowd starts to gather around. Dev and Birju who were about to leave notice this. Dev asks what is happening there. Birju replies it looks like someone is in trouble. Dev tells Birju lets go and see. Birju stops him and says no you go, everyone will be waiting for you. I will go and see. I will come to the temple. Birju rushes to where the crowd has gathered and asks around what has happened. Birju sees that it is Radhika. He tries to wake her up. Birju tells everyone he knows her and tell them to leave. Radhika wakes up and sees Birju. The crowd disperses.

Birju asks Radhika if she is okay now. She glances beyond his shoulder. He retorts there will be no one coming here. Dev has left for the temple. He asks her what she is doing here. She remains silent. Birju retorts I understand now, you wanted to see one last time. Even Dev wants to see you. He doesn't say anything but his eyes expresses everything. It is good that you have come here, you can meet him and tell him that you love him. Birju tells her to come along and that she shouldn't think too much and that she needs to tell him that she is not married. Radhika replies I cannot say all this to him. Birju tells her that she will have to tell the truth as Dev loves her a lot and you love him. If you won't tell him the truth, then I will. Radhika is shocked. Birju is about to leave when Radhika stops him. She tells him there is nothing like that and shouldn't do this. No matter how much you are hiding it, but I know that you love him. Radhika bows her head. Birju pesters her asking why won't she tell him that she loves him, the truth about everything. She replies that she is my sister's husband and I don't want that because of me there married life gets affected. Birju tells her that for the marriage that you are making so many sacrifices for, Dev hasn't even accepted it. They live like two strangers in one house because Dev loves you. Radhika says I am his past, now that he is married I am sure he will slowly accept Vishaka. Birju tells her nothing like that will happen. He tells her to come and tell Dev that she is not married. Radhika asks him what good will this do. This will stop ruining three people's life. Dev who will always love you, Vishaka who is having to pretend in front of everyone and you who loves him but can't tell him. Birju says for Dev's happiness I am ready to break that oath and commit this sin too.

Purohitji is lost in his thoughts. Vaishali notices his state of mind and asks him if he needs anything. She asks him whether he is searching for someone. He answer I was just looking whether everyone has come or not. Vaishali answers Dev must be on its way.

Birju tells Radhika that your tears won't have any effect on me any more. I couldn't tell Dev anything because of your oath. I waiting that you tell him yourself. You don't even know in what state Dev is. You live in another house, another city, but I, I have to see him walking around dejected and numb with pain. Birju begs her to stop Dev's torment. Birju turns to leave. She tells him that if you want his happiness, then so do I. She says that if by knowing the truth, it will make him happy, then I will tell him myself. I am waiting for the right moment. Birju tells her to come with him then as any time is good to reveal the truth. Radhika agrees. They hail a riksha.

The pandit says that they have prepared everything for the havan. We are just waiting for the bhog. Purohitji says we are just waiting for Dev. Dev comes there. He gives it to the pandit. Dev and Purohitji stare at each other. They all get seated for the pooja. Arjun and his Dad are smiling maliciously.

Birju and Radhika gets to the temple. She is about to enter the temple when she stops. Birju asks her what happened. Radhika reminds him that he won't tell him anything, I will him when the time is right. Birju tries to argue with her. She reminds him of the oath. Mrinalini and Arjun are smiling mischievously. Everyone looks a bit restless as if something is going to happen. Radhika is watching Dev from afar.

The pandit asks everyone to get up for the tilak. Purohitji while trying to get up, gets dizzy. Both Dev and Arjun rushes to his aid. They both help him to stand. The pandit chant some prayers. They tell him it is time and by applying the tilak you can pronounce as your successor. He takes some tilak. Arjun is smilling and has lifted his hair from his forehead, waiting for Purohitji. He goes to him and stand still for a while but then walks past him and goes to apply the tilak on Dev's. Dev and Purohitji stare at each other. He places a fistful of tilak on him. (LoL I thought he was attacking him )Everyone is shocked. Vaishali is happy and smiling. They hail Dev's name. Dev stares at his dad who is smiling. Some people lift Dev up. Vishaka asks Vaishali what does this mean. She answers it means he is not going to America now. Dadi says but this decision was taken without asking him. God knows what is going through him.
