NExt week.. Dev will tell the truth to his mother and she slaps him..😭 i donno what will happen. will she believe him or tell him that its too late and he has to accept Vishakha. I think she'll tell him about his father's illness and tell him not to create any trouble in the family because of it. OH man..i don't want Dev to give up.. i want him to continue searching for his wife and not even think about accepting Vishakha for his family.. its too sad.. i hope they see Vishakha for what she is soon. Its so stupid that they keep making excuses for her behavior.

you know, in real life nobody dies of knowing the trutgh. this is only serial drama where a little bit of truth leads to people having heart attacks

Yeah Dev should not give up his search for our sake :)

But realistically speaking, I think Dev's mother will insist that he accepts Vishakha. Not just because of his father's health, but because like it or not they all believe that Dev has taken saath pheres with her. You cant just break up a marriage like that. Besides it was the Purohit family that proposed this marriage in the first place and now to suddenly turn around and say 'sorry we got the wrong girl' is not right. Dev should have ensured that he was marrying the right person. What if Vishakha had been a nice person? They cant simply throw Vishakha away because she is not the perfect daughter in law of their dreams.

I agree about that point.. but when i said "i hope they see her for what she is" i meant that they'll realize her intentions of wanting to be an actress soon. I want someone in the family to know and help Dev instead of forcing him to accept Vishakha.

See i am not Hindu so don't value the rituals as much as i do the institution of marriage itself. Dev should not be forced to accept a wife he doesn't want to be with.. that will lead to no goodness for anyone. If Vish were married to him ritually and was infact a nice person and had married him with full consent, the problem still remains that Dev loves someone else.. his heart belongs somewhere else and he won't be able to be a good husband to Vish. But our society is such that pretenses of happiness take precedence over actually being happy because no one wants to break the communal norms and be looked at as an outcast.

Technically its fate that played in their lives that he couldn't tell who he was getting married to.. but its not his mistake that it happened. It was entirely a coincidence from the time he met Radhika. If Vishakha and her grandmother had not intervened in the middle no one would have pointed fingers at Dev saying that he made a mistake and he shud have ensured..so i don't think the blame should go on him entirely either.

Dev can never be a good husband to Vishakha because he does not love her. But yes society believes in pretenses and as such if the marriage should break, it would be scandalous for both families and the girl would suffer a lot. Especially in a conservative place like Vrindavan. From that perspective, Dev's mother will try her best to force him to accept Vishakha. Besides Dev does not even know who Radhika is. So his mom is likely to react just as Birju reacted.

I do see your point and agree with it too that Dev's mom is likely to react just as Birju did possibly more severely than Birju did.. but that doesn't solve the issue tho if his whole family keeps forcing him to accept Vish. The truth remains that Vish is not married to him in any sense of the word. I was just hoping someone..anyone..someone would know the truth and be a support to Dev in this difficult time for him because obviously he'll face the wrath of everyone for trying to get out of a relationship with Vish. I just wish he wasn't so lonely in his plight..if Birju or Dadi had any inkling of the truth they'd support him atleast morally. He wouldn't have to sit in the varanda at night talking to the moon crying his heart out that no one is there to listen. Its so heartbreaking.

Yup I agree wid ya..his mom will be like briju..only if he can find that pix that vikasha is hiding..I have a feeling he will do one day to show proof to everyone that he is not day dreaming!

Maybe there are other photos of the wedding (clicked by someone else) where Radhika's face is seen. I wish Dev would soon find out who Radhika is at the very least.

His mom slapped him. Poor Dev. Loneliness is going to be his sole companion for many more months. The CB creative team has no intention of bringing Dev and Radhika together soon ...

But I see some light at the end of the tunnel. It is Purab. Purab has an axe to grind and will remind Vishakha that she must never forget her Bollywood dream. Vishakha will learn to love her family and "husband", but she will go to meet Purab and guess who will see them ... Badi Bahu !!! And she will not spare Vishakha. Will the Purohit family condone this behavior? Is that reason enough to ask her to leave Dev?

It is not enough for Dev and Radhika to come together. They have to reveal the truth of their marriage. But who will reveal the truth? Not the Shastry family ("samaj ka dar"), not the ever-sacrificing Radhika and Nandu? No. So the best solution ? - Vishakha leaves on her own (with Purab's help). The Purohit family will never sympathize with a runaway bride and that will help Radhika step into Vishakha's shoes.
