- Dev sees Radhika at the holi day he ask someone for her name she ducks down so they give her sister Vishaka name.

- Dev thinks the girl he likes is Vishaka tells his Grandma and she goes to they house to ger Radhika sister proposal

- Vishaka does not want to get married because she wants to become and Actress runs away with her friend Purab to take auditions.

- Reaches there and finds out she needs money to become and actress and her friend tells her to get married to Dev for the money and then leave him when she gets what she wants.

- She decides to do what Purab has told her and goes back to the house while Dev has already married Radhika, but no one has seen that is Radhika is the bride because she in a Veil and so she tells Radhika to switch clothes and so Amma says she kill her self if Vishaka does not go as Dev bride so they switch spots and Vishska goes.

- Dev does not love Vishaka but, is stuck in the relationship he doesn't tell anyone expect for his friend and he tries to find Radhika but he is unable to show anyone who Radhika is so his friends keeps telling him that she is a figment of his imagination he keeps on trying to deny it.

Hope this helps so basically the only reason why she not his bride is because no one knows he loves Radhika and Amma says she will kill her self if anyone tells dev that he is married to Radhika and not Dev

Radhika is an orphan and no one knows where she came from. So everyone assumes that she is of a low caste and is the result of someone's sin. So Amma treats her badly. and she is also not allowed to enter the temple.

If you watch Jan 15 and 16 episodes you'll get answer to why the bride swtiched. Its basically because vishakha came back and Amma claimed that Radhika's wedding was symbolic only and Vishakha is the actual bride. You'll understand when you watch the epis.

Mrinalini is Dev's bhabhi and she is a grey character.

THats a genuine mistake made by the person who entered the cast. Rajiv Verma is playing the role from the beginning.
