Part 13

After they reach home, they had delicious lunch. Everyone was doing their respective works for the party, ladies made sure that everything is fine for the party. The gents came home as well Ishaan then everybody started getting ready. Radhika helped Ishaan in getting ready which tend her to be late for the party. After a while, guest started coming in till every guest was there, they praised their arrangements. Dev came down wearing a black sherwani with heavy embroidery of dark blue. All the girls attention went to Dev, he was looking so handsome like a prince of a fairyland, they praised him but he listened uninterestedly because he wanted to hear the praise from someone else voice. But where is she?? His eyes searched for her, he kept looking here and there and wondered for her delay. Suddenly Mohini came in front of him and said "kisse dhundh rahe ho??" Dev looked away and moved his head saying no one and went away from there.

Radhika came down in a royal blue lengha looking very beautiful. She was feeling nervous by looking at the guests, not because they were many just because she was afraid of being identified by anyone. She stopped at the middle of the stairs and looked around but doesn't find any familiar face, she gave a relief sigh. Suddenly she felt someone's gaze, she looked at that direction and found Dev looking at her. The moment she stepped down he stopped breathing, his heart pumped fast and got lost in her mesmerizing beauty. She also glanced at Dev and found him like a handsome prince. He wanted to hold her and tell her how beautiful she looks. Even without him saying, she read his expressions which stated that she looked beautiful. She blushed and slowly lowered her gaze. His small smile got tucked in his lips but didn't move his gaze till somebody blocked his way. He tilted his head to see again but she was gone, he felt disappointed and cursed the person who blocked his way. Whereas Radhika was getting angry at her for showing Dev that she is affected by his love and she went away before Dev could catch up.

"Radhe Radhe shastriji!!" Daima said while welcoming the Shastri family.

"Radhe Radhe Maaji!!" Shastriji said while taking her blessings, Deviki did the same. Purohit family also took the blessing of Amma and Shastri plus Deviki. Daima saw Dev approaching and introduces him to them. He took their blessings, they got impressed with the values he have even after studying in America, he was so gentle with them.

"Arre, Vishaka kaha hai?? " Mohini asked (where is Vishaka??)

"Main yaha hoon Bhabhi!!" Vishakha said (Im here..)They saw Vishakha coming in a pink lengha looking beautiful. She took blessings of Purohits and they praised her beauty. She had some chit-chat with Dev, suddenly she remembered something.

"Yeh Radhika kaha hai??" (Were is Radhika??). Hearing her name, he looked up in a hope that she would show up.

"yahi hogi who abhagan, aur kaha jaa sakti hai.." Amma said.(she wud be here..were else can she go??). Everyone felt disappointed at Amma's hatred towards Radhika, but Radhika never felt bad or even cared for her behavior, she would always make it as a joke but if Amma's words goes beyond her limits then Radhika fights back until Amma would stop talking. Shastri gave his mother a serious look which she understood that she should stop talking. Suddenly the lights got off, dark surrounded the area, and everyone got confused. A small light glowed in the darkness and music started playing. The music was a classical which is Rang Deni. They saw a girl's back who was moving with the melody. The moment she showed her face, a smile broke on everyone's face. Her dance was mind-blowing, every move was just breathtaking. Radhika was dancing gracefully, forgetting all the tensions, lost in her own world. Dev was captivated in her magical dance. He was so concentrated in her dance that he felt no one around him. He felt like she was an angel from heaven, made just for him. He kept admiring her and didn't even blink his eyes till the end of the song. When she was finished, she bowed down then everyone clapped for her tremendous performance. By the noise around him, he came back to the reality. The lights came back, everything was glowing. She saw proud smile on everyone's face except Amma of course. Suddenly a voice came from somewhere "Sabka toh dil jeet liya, tum kiska jeetogi??" Eveyone frowned and looked at that direction and was stunned to find Dev saying those words. Another voice came from the other side "hor keda??sirf saada.." Radhika looked at Sunny then Dev. Dev frowned and thought what he is doing here then gave him an angry look. Both approached her, she was in between them.

"who tumhara dil kyun legi??" Dev said (y wud she take ur heart??)Radhika looked at Dev confusingly.

"kyunki mera dil sone warga yah teh saraya nu sona bahut pasand yah..haina??" Sunny said outloud. Everyone replied yes, Radhika smiled at sunny's reply. Dev looked around the people cheering, he gave another deadly look to sunny. Sunny smirked and gestured him thru his eyes stating now what will you say?? Which made Dev even more angry.

"tum.." Dev said while pointed his finger.

"oyye, tusi ladi jande yah, mujhse toh puch lo.." Radhika said(You are fighting, first ask me..)

"Haan Radhika, tum hi bata do..tumhe kiska dil chahiye??" Vishaka said smilingly.(yes Radhika, u only tell whom heart do you nid??)

"mujhe??mujhe tumhara!!" She said while poking his finger on Dev. Dev smiled and Sunny was shocked.

"Nahi tumhara dil chahiye!!" She said and did the same with Sunny. Dev's smile faded and got shocked. Everyone laughed at Dev's expression.

"wade aaye dil den wale.." Radhika said and started walking. At the same time a song started playing which was Makhna. By hearing the music, she stopped and turned. To her surprise, Dev approached her first and started dancing with her but then sunny took her with him. Both were convincing her by their acts but Radhika kept refusing them. Everyone was enjoying the dance and their fight for Radhika. Unfortunately nobody won, neither Dev nor Sunny.

"Kaise mard ho??ek ladki ko nahi mana paye.."Vivek said laughingly.(wat kind of man r u??u cant convince a girl..)

"bhai assi tah haar gaye, tusi aapni pata nai kidan mana lai??" Sunny said.(we hve lost!!dont know how u hve convinced yours??)

"Bade papad belne padte hai iss chakkar mein.." Vivek said while looking at Mohini. She blushed and hid behind Vishakha. Vivek came in front and played another song and started dancing on it. Vivek held mohini's hand and brought her in front to dance. The song was Wallah re Wallah, a perfect choice for it. After a while Dev took Radhika and Sunny took Vishakha. All three couples started making their moves according to the song.

After the dance, the family gathered in a corner, only Vishakha was there from Shastri family.

"Arre Sunny, tumne toh kammal kar diya.." Vivek said while hugging him.

"Assi tah phate chak dinde yah, jeh dhol hunda tah bhangra vi paa dinde.."Sunny replied.(if there was dhol I shuld hve done bhangra..) Dev made an silly face which Radhika saw and smile while others laughed at Sunny's comment. He took blessings of elders.

"Kaise ho beta??"(how r u??)

"Bas chardikala yah, Rab dayi janda aasi layi jande yah.."(everything is fyn, god is giving, im taking..)

"Chardi kala??"

"auntyjee, main hindi wich zero yah, tusi aunu pucho.."Sunny said while pointing his finger on Radhika.(Aunty, im zero in hindi u ask her)

"Le main ithe hindi teacher yah jeda mere kol puchna..main tah aap badi mushkil naal boldi yah..bas samajh lao ki theek thak yah.." (am I a hindi teacher that u shud ask from me…even i try hard to speak…just think it means im great..) Everyone laughed at them, radhika and sunny are great friends, whenever they meet there will always be noise and pranks. Sunny was great guy, everyone liked him as he got a great sense of humor, he spare no one when he would joke.

"Waise party kis cheez di ho rahi yah??"(what is the party for??)

"Dev ke aane ki khushi mein.."(for Dev's arrival)

"Kaun Dev??"(who Dev??)

"Main hoon Dev.." Dev said seriously.(I'm Dev)

"Acha, tu yah..mood bahut kharab lagda..ki gal??"(Oh, you..ur not in mood..wat happen??)

"tum aa gye nah iss liye" Dev murmured.(u came that's why..)

"Ki??"(wat)

"Kuch nahi..mera mood bahut acha hai.."(nothing..my mood is fyn..)

"hamare Sunny bhai toh aise hai ki mood khrab ko bhi acha kar dete hai.."

"Hor!!chalda firda joker yah nah.."Radhika said teasingly.(Hmm..he's a walking clown ryt)

"Chal tu kedhi yah tah assi joker hi sai.." Sunny said smilingly(If u said so, then im a joker)

"Main tenu dasaya nai ki tu aaj sohni lagdi yah par Vishakha toh jyada nai!!haina??" He said while looking at Vishakha. (I didn't told u that u look beautiful but not more than Vishaka ryt?)She rolled her eyes and smiled."Hassi toh Fassi..". Everyone laughed but not Dev. He was fuming with anger and was confused at his family that why aren't they saying anything to him??he is flirting openly.

"Dev!!chalo main tumhe kuch logon se mil wata hoon!!" Sooraj said and took him then kept him busy with his friends.

"Radhika!!tum zara kuch softdrinks le aaogi, sunny zara iska haath bata do.." Padma said(Rdhika, can u bring some softdrinks, sunny pls help her)

"theek hai aunty jee.." Sunny replied(Okey..)

"Main bhi aati hoon" Vishakha said(ill cum too..)

"tusi vi aa jao.." Sunny said.(U also cum..) All three of them went to kitchen.
