Liked that the real Virat came out today in full force.👏 The proud egoist Virat with a short fuse…….in this glorification of one who should not be named (Barkha) this Virat got lost and was turned into a joker. He came back for some time in the muth scene and has been simmering like a volcano. Today Virat was furious that he is going down for a crime that he did not commit (the crime was killing the cows that got turned into treason) and is glaring at the one who should not be named. It is true that he did not plan the conspiracy, nor did he steal the medicine and his intension was not to kill the cows, but he did add the medicine and this is poetic justice for him (he got what he has been dishing out and his pride is now on the floor, he does know that this is in return for what he has done to others, Radhika/kanha did tell him and he looked guilty then, but his pride is most probably stopping him from acknowledging it openly) . Virat also most probably realizes that to certain extent he is wrong because when Radhika/kanha reminds him that one accepts ones faults when one realizes that one was with wrong, Virat does look down but then he immediately glares at Barkha indicating that it is anger now because he is being blamed for something that he has not done. Then the one who should not be named starts her bhashaan and Virat again looses the plot……..and tells her to keep quiet and also laments that he does not want to stay here because here people listen to outsiders more than ones own (This is the real Virat…..anger, pride, ego and insecurity that he not given attention even though he is the eldest son in the family…..one who believes that everything is his birthright and nothing is gained by hard work). He then refers to the one who should be named as liar and a turn tail and gets told of by Bholu that makes one who should not be named very happy but she did not notice that Bholu did not refer to her as a RPtian…nor did he take her name…..he referred to her as anyone😃. Virat is now on a roll and he points out to Bholu that he can say all this because he is RP and warns Bholu that this RPhiti will not last because the one whom he trusts the most will betray him and then he will remember that for 23 years he was just a servant and he gets a slapped ( Virat still does not accept Bholu as a family member……well I don't expect him to. Virat was keeping his mouth shut and decided to side with Bholu and RaDhika's decision because that was the only way he could stay in this house…….he is still itching that Dev has become RP but not him the eldest son in the family..and is also insecure about it most probably). Anyway finally Gopaldas did something that he should have done long time back….slapped his son and to me justified his inclusion in this script because I always used to think what on earth this character's role in this story is🤔. To me he is an escapist….he chose to live in his dream world of poems…..controlling his wife might have been difficult but why not teach ones son the right way…….along with his wife he has an equal role in the downfall of Virat…Gopaldas does tell some home truths that Dev was capable even when he was a servant (being capable of not being capable is not linked to ones birth or standing in society………. capability lies in a person's nature………his character)and Virat whose pride has now been damaged quite a bit also feels insulted by his father saying that Dev is better now wants to go and demands his mommy dear.
Now the rolling down the stairs part…so Mohini is ready to push badi bahu to stay in the lap of luxury and that her husband stays with her……..by the way is this the same Mohini who got horrified that badi bahu has taken a false oath on Virats head…because that's what is making me think that why will Mohini even accept doing all this? I am guessing that this is their way of making Mohini face judgment…that when something happens to badi bahu she will blame herself and most probably think twice next and maybe Virat will also be angry so her main aim will not be fulfilled…..but the main thing for me is that I do not remember Mohini ever being malicious enough to push someone from the stairs. So I do not like the way they showed Mohini here. As for badi bahu and her poetic justice, that's fine but again as I said yesterday I would have preferred if they had left Kanah suggesting to her to injure herself and to use Mohini………..If it is poetic justice then the choice of course of action should be badi bahus and not Kanha's and Kanah is much above all this petty schemes. Badi bahu is quite capable of deciding all this on her own. Anyway at the end Mohini slips and it is an accident and badi bahu gets paralysed…….
Dev is in the temple and even though understanding that badi bahu fell as a result of her past actions….he is still looking at Radhika/kanha for assurance whether he did the right thing….or does he know inside that him blaming Virat was not right decision? (He is now most probably disheartened because at some level he might think that Virat leaving and that resulting in badi ma's fall is due to the fact that he could not keep the family together , because that has been taught to him since childhood and that is an integral part of his nature. However selfish and dysfunctional this family is, this is the only family that Dev has known and it is not easy to break that link. Even in real life it takes years of hard work and understanding for people who have grown up in dysfunctional families to break that link…….some still maintain that link but learn to emotionally distance themselves..is Bholu is like that? Why do I feel that although being a loner, an introvert at the end of the day he will want all of them to be together? Remember his dada showing him the stars and telling him to always travel taking everyone with him. Hopefully he will keep his loner inner being alive by making judgments on his own without the influence of his family, so he will separate himself from others during that time yet work towards keeping unity irrespective of the differences.) Also being an introvert he does read people well (introverts just won't share the knowledge but they know) and hence his remark that his uncle was more disappointed than hurt at Virat's actions……..and then his lament that why don't people not realize that one hurts one's own the most when someone does something wrong (just like he hurt Radhika the most by not believing in her……..if this is his condition seeing his uncle's pain then what will he feel when he realizes what Radhika had to go through)……..Radhika/kanha reels him back from being emotionally distraught and says that his job is to pass judgment without any bias (well Virats's judgment was biased….Dev has still not reached the unbiased state)…and that good and evil exists in life………and after repentence…..dharm will be established……..and everything will be back to normal (now did Radhika/kanha say that because she does not want to stress out Dev more or does she say this because that's where the story is headed…….I mean everyone will repent for their mistakes and everything will be happy happy again?) Dev continues that talking to Radhika all his problems gets solved……..and Radhika/kanha answers that one should listen to ones heart when in some difficulty or listen to his inner being (but wonder whether Dev took it as he should always come to Radhika for decision making and problem solving🤔)……..and he goes off to do his duty to his badi maa and chunnu munnu can you please use the word kartavya and not dharm here, when you are meaning duty………
In badi bahus room Virat on a rampage and blaming everyone for the accident. Radhika /kanha does not pay him any attention and tells him to go. Dev comes in and again does not pay any attention and tells the people from the muth to take Virat away (he must have realized that in this condition it is no use to reason with Virat. Its better to leave him alone) and tells Virat to repent for his mother's sake (so the son who could have easily destroyed his mother for his own needs is now being given the chance to make his mother well through his repentence. Will this bridge the gap between the mother and son? Only time will tell). Anyway Bholu also gives a shoulder to Gopaldas who has been left alone and explains to him that Virat has to be punished to repent and tells Gopaldas that he also is his son and gives him the support to survive this period (the loner who will take everyone with him. Bholu has always considered these people his own..the differentiation was from the other side not from Bholu's side). So this introvert chap is now showing his emotions to someone who needs it the most and he looks at Radhika/kanah who reassures him by nodding that he did the right thing……….
Well today something that was missing for long time has returned somewhat to the show…and that is emotions and this is most probably because the centre of the story might have been shifted from Barkha to Dev. Also from last week Barkha is no longer controlling the actions…..Kanha is. One needs drama to get the TRPs but one also needs emotions to hook the audience…and that comes from mainly the leads to whom the audience should be most connected. Today there were emotions from Dev, from Virat and also from Gopaldas……todays show was mainly about these three characters and a slight change in their relationship. So today kudos to Avinash, Mickey and the actor who enacts the role of Gopaldas (sorry forgotten his name).
On another note I am just wondering…..Radhika/kanha has told Dev that his destiny is to be an RP...so that is his final destination. Wonder whether he will be brought again to a similar crossroad as in the Rajpurohit sabha………where he has to chose between the right way or the wrong way. His destiny is RP but the choice of choosing the path is his……..and that will determine what sort of RP he will become…one who is obsessed about the prestige of the position or one who follows truth. Last time knowing in his heart what is the right decision, he chose the wrong path due to his insecurities, his fear, living up to someone's empty ideals and lack of guidance………now after travelling on this path will he make the right decision. Now I have no clue as to what the creatives have planned for the future …this is just my imagination.
