Thanks Misti for wonderful comments (realy like the inside blue comments) ..i always admire your astute writing and also the way you make it fun filled by adding more depth to the show than there is in actual.. I am saying this coz i had this pleasure😉 of watching Fridays episode and boy i always find episodes pompus and extra dramatical in presentation so i always enjoy reading updates here..Thanks Chipak...CB is a melodrama, hence the over the top dramatisation.
great many things are already discussed in your thread with which i totally agree specially the points of concern regarding Devs non-existent brain and kanha antics and dont want to go in that territory again coz of risk of being labled as overly negative and critical of the show..anyways i am with show getting good numbers and in process if they have this wonder of the wonder ideas then its Welcome (but with respect to the beliefs and characters ---i can atleast emphasize on that)Coming to the episode, Misti i may be in minority here coz i did not like the episode but hell yes better than the Child whipping drama they had it going for the whole weakDev, i will not take his few lines as some signs of sense coming back coz i see that coming for one standalone episode where Dev is given lines (no doubt on that) but not strong ones and some lines were given to get easy way out for Him-for instance the one whr he said during RAds attcaking Bh, he sided with his Dharma not with his Love😕 that line was downer for me coz as far as i know (and i might not know full picture and my understanding is limited) he sided with BH to protect his own a** , that time he did not seek any proof or evidence and believd Bh on face not facts . I will be pleasantly surprised if Dev actually will be actively involved in BHs revelation with help of R/K. Time will only tell.The dialogue that you are talking about...I am not sure whether he said that to justify his actions or he was trying to convince Padma.In that scene I kept on getting a feeling that all the dialogues were said aimed at Padma because Dev is questionig Barkhas actions on the basis of proofs that Radhika presented and Dev knows how illogical Padma is regarding Barkha and she goes after Radhika, so this washis way to calm her down so the actual work can be done. As for Dev what he did regarding Radhika...Dharma here is duty...or kartavya...I wish the creatives use the word kartavya more and dharma less...he did side with his duty towards protecting the Rajpurohiti and the family name...because that has been fed to him since childhood...he did not do his duty to find the truth...because then he would have saved his wife and the Rajpurohiti...For me whether Dev is really coming back or not..only the future episodes can given us that answer...Nevertheless to me it was a small growth on friday because now atleast he is ready to listen to the fact that Barkha can do wrong that might harm the Rajpurohiti...Another thing that i did not like was not on charcater side but dialogues..I just wonder how many times Rp and RPaitan word is used in the episode..it was sort of annoying and funny to hear such hollow words again and again and again..Its very trivial issue but really at one point i thought of not watching it if someone again say that wordTalking of trivial issue, i did not like Avis delivery of speech in front of whole PB in the end scene..i cant really pick what i didn not like in there (some lines for sure i had problems)..yes i can see now- the way Avi was standing and giving long speech (cut in btw mant times by BH)... i mean i didnot see the grandeur of a strong person..Avis expression were perrfect but his posture wasnt (or my eyes gets in too much of details i guess), that made the whole scene lil less effective (for me)...I did not expect him to be strong here...I expected him to be somewhat uncertain here...because he is with this family to whom he thinks he needs to explain his position.As a RP he does not really need to explain in such detail why he is taking such an action...the answer was apparent in the Sabha why this action was being taken.few best parts also: My most fav Scene for the epi was Shanti one😉😆 I mean i cant even believe myself but i liked Shanti scene more than Dev's..normally in any episode that i see if there are Avina that would be my fav but not this time. I liked her reactions and actions to other ladies and that was very realistic..this catress is damn good..i hope they show Mansaram family is more substantial way in the story...Garima as Shanti was brilliant...she is a very good actress...a complete firecracker and very realistic in her depiction of Shanti. Infact the entire Mansaram family is a delight to watch and I hope the writers will bring them in more in the he story,I liked Dev secne with Mahant and there his lines were strong and delivered perfectly...Avi did gr8 here..his standing, his strong persona as some high honcho was reflecting here😃 (but not in second scene..dont know but i felt the difference)/...here he is in full form as the familyis absent...I always feel that this family sucks the energy out of him...here he does not feel that he has to jsutfiy his actions.OK of Kanha using his powers- again a silly game of Cvs..first playing that no power game was i believe for buying more time to think forward plan for thsi track..But now Knaha coming back in his orig form, i will prefer that over the drama Cvs created whr God needed to prove some points instead of defeating evil like Bh with no powers..I know points are same but Cvs messed that up in presenting the point in some total weird way (which i am unabale to understand the reason behind all that drama but glad that its over now)...I prefer slow and painful end of BH but only if Dev is also part of it (since we dont know whr is Rads atleast Dev should get to know his deeds) then it will be much satisfying...I also prefer slow and painful end of Barkaha and Dev;s involvement in it..., I am glad that the human phase of Kanha is over and the divine kanha is back becuase they were messing the chracterisation of human kanha in a big way...and you may be right that they showed the human form of kanha to buy time for themselves to decide on the next track. The first week of human kanha just contained some filler episodes with only two days where they showed something that contributed something to the story. They usually show light filler episodes to divert the audience attention from the fact that they are making plans for the next action.But these are just my rambling hopefully accepatble..TC!! Any ramblingas are aceeptable to me.😉
