The beautiful story of Sudama and Lord Krishna that has been passed on since several generations teaches us a lot of things...as u have mentioned. Its always a pleasure to read the story again and again...as it depicts how even the Lord craves for true devotion, true love from his devotees.

Splurging wealth on the Lord, without any devotion in the mind wouldn't earn people Lord's blessings. However, Mansaram and Rads, though never showered monetary wealth on God...did always shower the true wealth -- the wealth of devotion and love, selflessness -- and hence their emotions touched even the Supreme Himself's heart and brought tears to his eyes :)

Very touching scene indeed :)
