What does marriage mean? Is it just the sindoor, the rituals, etc? For me, no. Marriage is that bond shared between two individuals that have a strong emotional connection and vow to be with each other forever. So did Dev marry Barkha? No, he just put some powder in her hair. That's it.

Yes and No ,in front of society it is considered a marriage
But if two indivduals dont accept it wholeheartedly it is not a marriage
For ex.in Bhagonwali ,the guy married the girl by deceit ,they were forced to accept the wedding because of society and later on ended up falling in love-making their marriage complete

Then why was dev not accepting his childhood marriage without applying sindoor in front of society .
so u can take it either way but the fact is he can give radhik's place to others too in his life.
