Many of you might be upset seeing Dev's reaction in today's episode. But here are my thoughts -

I am still giving Dev benefit of doubt...for two reasons - one - Dev is really BholuRam -(term from Misti, added Ram to it, I guess)...He is a kind hearted soul who has no mean bone and cannot think evil...

But my second reason is - Is the track headed the Aaina way??

Aaina Movie:

There was movie by Yash chopra starring Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh and Juhi Chawla(two sis in the movie)...Juhi gets married to Jackie when Amrita singh runs away on day of marriage...but when her stint in movie fails, she returns...she is totally jealous of Juhi and thinks very high of herself...she still thinks and claims that Jackie can love only her ( this belief of her further strengthens when she sees them - Juhi - Jackie...sleeping separately)...In her silly attempts to get close to Jackie, she conjures childish tricks, including cutting her wrist and many more etc...in one of scenes, they show Jackie and Doctor talking with dialogues muted...from then on, Jackie behaves as if he cares only for Amrita and not for Juhi and constantly Juhi gets hurt...but finally Jackie exposes Amrita's evil intentions - claiming how she cut her hand, only when the help was around etc... and declares his love for Juhi...

Relation to CB: Today Radhika lost her cool seeing Barkha's behavior...Radhika could not stand anymore the games Barkha was playing... by cutting her wrists to gain sympathy...But Dev suddenly intervened and got angry at Radhika...On the surface it might seem that he is doubting Radhika and not believing her at all...Dev knows that something is bothering Radhika, but he did not know that Radhika has heard Barkha's declaration in front of BB...I think it all started when this Barkha madam was trying to explain her feelings to Dev whom she thought was unconscious...in that Div kutiya...Either that day, or much before that when Dev heard Barkha talking to someone on the phone...or both the occasions...that put enough doubt on Dev's mind...but now he wants to get her wiith all proofs and but also not before he gets his property back from Barkha and gives the RP to Rohan...So, he is playing along with Barkha...and will teach her a lesson for trying to hurt his Radhika and for betraying their trust...and for trying to come between RaDev...Little does Barkha realize, if they are two, she can at least try to separate them...but how can she try to attempt to separate that is EK Jaan, EK Sareer and EK Atma hain...Again Paani mein Laati maarne se, paani ko alag nahin keeya ja saktha...By hitting the axe, water cannot be separated, likewise, Barkha's silly attempts will never succeed...IT would be treat to watch Barkha's face, if this is really what Dev is upto...

Thoughts?? Kya aisa ho saktha hain...

I like the way you compared Ainaa with Choti bahu ..I hope this is all Devs plan , but I feel that its too good to be true.Cvs could easily show that dev is planning all this but dont know if Cvs will think so far ahead. Radhika loosing her cool today was very understandable but didnt like the way dev shouted at RAdhika , it seemed that he really trusts Barka ..and for the pass episodes he keeps praising barka ..So i have my doubt but your idea about him pretending is also a possibility ..Someone posted something similar on madhu post ( Feeling very bad for Dev )
dev does have many hints and I hope he pieces everything together ...And FAST!!!! Because this barka will cross her limits!!

Wow Anu i never thought about this...i wud absolutely love it if this is what dev is upto...If Dev really is acting like this to expose BCD then i wud wanna run and give a tight hug to Dev...

Anu, You know this thought did occur to me today even though I did not relate it to Aaina until you mentioned it. In one of her threads last week, Misti had mentioned that maybe Dev heard Barkha in his subconscious and may be acting. I would be really happy if they show an intelligent Dev. Now there was no sign of struggle on Barkha's part. Not even one hair was out of place. Also gundas slashing only one of her wrist doesn't even make sense.

But usually in Hindi serials, they don't tend to show intelligent heros and strong heroine at the same time especially when the negative female character is shown to rule the scene. So they can make Dev temporarily dumb who ignores such things for the time being. The article suggests that it would be the case.

You can be right Anu , this thought came to my mind and i came to write then saw your post about the same thing ...If they keep Dev intelligent then he may be suspicious of her motives and not to alert her is playing along ...And one more thing till now Creatives have not given any hint about the reason of Barkha,s irrational obsession for Dev all of a sudden ...I was thinking may be when Radhika slapped her and then she forced her to sit as Dev,s wife , Dev Calling her name , without asking her first , turned her negative ...If Barkha wants to remove Radhika , she can use any method which none will doubt ..

Thanks Billo. I have a feeling that Dev might have heard something when Barkha was talking on the phone, the day when they both went to Mutt and then might have heard Barkha blabbering when she thought Dev was unconsicous...I am realling hoping that CV's have this track in mind...Yes, Radhika losing her cool was quite understandable because she never anticipated how low Barkha would fall trying to separate them...I did not read any posts before I wrote this topic, but I will def check it out.. Yes, I hope Dev acts fast and shows this Barkha her real place...I think Barkha has already crossed all Limits of decency and humanity...

Angie: This thought has been with me since the day I saw Dev with Barkha in the mutt and then in the DIV kutir...but then it took even more firm ground in my mind, when I saw that Barkha cutting the wrist in the similar way that Amrita Singh cuts in that movie...She was similar like Barkha - haughty, arrogant and jealous of Juhi...Yes, he not paying attention to things which were right in front of him was quite strange...he did not even react or blink when Radhika mentioned that the door was closed from inside and at the other door there was no other...and not a inch of her hair moved...(even i thought that her makeup was so intact, man how cld it escape any one's notice)...

You are probably right about hindi serials...my trouble is, CB is my first hindi soap...so I cannot really draw comparisons...but I am hoping that for once, this guess comes right...oh well, no harm in hoping I guess...

Thanks Neeraja...I have been thinking abt this for sometime now...Yes, CV's did not show Barkha's behavior...Oh plzz Neeraja, dont give ideas to these CV's about the abuse of the noble profession...Barkha has already abused it enough by torturing Rohan...I think one of the conversation with her mom was quite telling...she told her mom that how no one cared for them when dad died...and how she shd not care for society... Even I was thinking of a scene, where Radhika slaps her, when she comes to know that she has been tricked into marriage resulting in Dadaji falling sick...I think she took that hurt to heart and then other things just added fuel to fire...and then admist these incidents Dev's soft words acted as balm on her hurting mind/heart...she has been without father figure in her life...and there has been no other man in her life...and almost everyone in her life has either hurt her or expected something in return from her...but Dev was the first person who without expecting anything from her...supported her, realized why she had to trick them into the wedding and supported her in public...and slowly she saw how much love Dev has for Radhika and slowly she started dreaming about all this for herself...and then finally when Dev took her name as RPtian...she felt she cld steal him from Rads by hook or crook...so all the pain and hurt she has experienced since childhood could be washed away...IMHO...

Yes you could be right , Dev kind of person , she can easily fall in love ,I have removed ,but this thing just came to my mind ...Can she pretend to teach Radhika a lesson for insulting her before all and then pushing her to sit without asking first ..
