Neerja, I am not liking this song for the new track. First of all, this song is between Vasantsena (Rekha) and Anuradha Patel where VasantSena ends up having an affair with Anuradha Patel's character's husband Charudutt.

So they are portrayed initially two women who become friends where one friend - VasantSena who is nagarvadhu (courtesan) has a physical relationship with friend's husband despite knowing very well that he is married and has a child. The story was nice and I like the original Sanskrit version "MricchKatik" (didn't like the movie much as they dwelled on the physical relationship between VasantSena and Charudutt but not the spiritual relationship or a pure love). But the story doesn't fit in CB's context.

Same goes for the song. It is a nice by itself but it doesn't suit the current track. If they hadn't gone with the artificial fake wife track and Barkha had remained just a friend and a minor character, I would have liked the song.

Secondly, I really don't want Dev to have relationship with Radhika until he declares her as his wife publicly. Dev refused to sleep with Radhika when they were on the run because the society didn't know that she was married to him. So what has changed now? The society still doesn't know that he is married to Radhika. What happens to any kids they have? They would be considered illegitimate and Radhika would be considered his mistress. So until Dev says that he would make sure that Radhika gets the proper status as RPtain and his wife and does so, it brings down Dev as it makes him very selfish. After what his father did to his mother and to him, Dev's character would never go for such an arrangement.

I know the story and history of song ...remained just a friend and a minor character, I would have liked the song...Angie did post this song just thinking Barkha as her friend and Radhika as Dev,s wife , it was not movie,s concept ..It was may be she just remains friend ...Just heard this song ...I know its too much to accept from Creatives , that they will keep the story positive ...
