Part 1
Radhika walks in the room and Dev follows her asking her to listen to him and Mansaram looks at her in shock. Radhika is equally in shock. Mansaram exclaimed that what is this? Why does she have sindoor in her mang and why is she wearing a mangalsutra? Radhika look down (everyone is just looking). Barkha runs saying that she will tell him (Padma is throwing apprehensive looks at Barkha) and Radhika tries to stop her but Barkha does not listen and tells Mansaram that yesterday night Dev did not get married to her but to Radhika (Mansaram has a shocked look on his face). Barkha continues that she made Radhika sit in her place because she knew that Dev and Radhika are made for each other and a smile breaks out on Mansaram's face (Radhika is looking down, Dev has a stern look and Badi bahu throwing looks at Virat signifying that see another drama is going to start). Barkha continues that yesterday he did not do her Kanyadaan but Radhika's. Mansaram is now smiling and has a tears of relief in his eyes (Radhika is looking down and Dev is giving her piercing looks). Mansaram joins his hands together and thanks God. He looks very pleased and has a big smile on his face. He looks at Radhika and says that Kanhaji has not let anything wrong happen to his devotee (Dada is studying Mansaram very intently with a grumpy face). Mansaram continues that all this is happening according to Kanhaji's will (Padma is now confused). Mansaram remarks that all this is Kanhaji's maya and that the sindoor that she has been applying to Kanhaji's feet, she has now got the permission to apply the same sindoor in her mang (Radhika tries to stop him and then with a worried look glances at dada. Padma also with an apprehensive look glances at dada). Mansaram continues that 12 years back the wedding that happened with Dev babu has now been finally completed by kanhaji and Radhika with a worried look says no baba (dada has now woken up from his dreams and is giving a piercing look at Mansaram). Radhika throws a worried look at dada and everyone else are in shock. Dev with a serene look glances at Mansaram . Mansaram continues that he knew that the relationship that was tied between her and kishankanhayeeya that day will never get broken. Dada asks Mansaram what is he talking about and Radhika is trying to stop Mansram who does not listen to her and tells dada that 12 years back on the day of Radhashthami he got 51 couples married (the marriage sequence shown in flashback) and proudly proclaims that one of the couples consisted of Radhika and Devbabu (dada is now in shock).
Part 2
Dada in anger and shock gets up and asks how did that happen? (Gopaldas and Mohini are holding him). Mansaram proudly and happily continues that on that day Radhika and Dev babu caught hold of a chunar (shawl/wrap/dupatta) and took 7 rounds around the holy fire (again marriage sequences of the kid's marriage shown where they are fighting and running around the fire, the kid Radhika standing with a big smile and kid Dev brushing sindoor in her mang while trying to remove the sindoor from her forehead). Everyone continue to be in shock, Dada is glaring, Radhika is looking at dada with worry. Radhika tries her best to stop her father but Mansaram is now in full flow and he very happily tells dada that Madhav Pandit saw all this and he came to our house and told us how Radhika got married (Dev is glancing at Radhika and dada is looking at Mansaram as if he is seeing a ghost), but he did not know the boys name and that's why he could not do anything (Dada does not know what to do and he shakes his head in despair and has an expression of the sky falling on his head). Mansaram further continues that for 12 years Radhika applied sindoor in the name of the unknown boy on Kanha's feet (dada is amazed and lost, Radhika with a worried look glances at Dev who is looking back at her with pain in his eyes) and then finally after 12 years he got to know that the boy was Devbabu (dada closes his eyes in shock and despair and Dev is looking at Radhika with regret and pain). Dada in despair continues that on the auspicious day of Radhasthmi Dev and Radhika got married? This was such an auspicious day that only happens once in 100 years and that he was told that anyone getting married day cannot ever be separated from each other (Dev is looking at Radhika with pain in his eyes, Padma is worried and badi bahu is thinking that now what should she do). Barkha glances at dada and tells him that she knew this but she could not tell dada because Radhika asked her not to. Radhika was worried that if dada gets to know about this then he will be caught in a quandary between dharma (duty) and samaj (society). Dada's hands start shaking (Dev is looking at Radhika with pain while Radhika who is looking at dada and realizes that something is wrong). Barkha continues that dharma will give importance to the wedding that happened 12 years back and the society will not accept Radhika as Dev's wife (Dev is looking down and Radhika is now worried that something is happening to dada). Barkha continues that this was why Radhika kept quiet about it. Dada is having a heart attack and Dev and Radhika both realize and run towards him. Dada is surrounded by everyone and the doctor is called.
Part 3
Dada is on his bed and the doctor is checking him. Padma asks the doctor that how is dada and the doctor tells her that since he got this attack very soon after the first one, he cannot say anything now (Padma and Dev are both worried and Radhika is standing like a dead body, completely lifeless leaning against the door). Dada slowly opens his eyes and glances at Radhika and calls her name. Dada keeps on calling Radhika's name and Radhika comes rushing towards dada but the doctor stops her and tells everyone to leave the room. Radhika with a worried look glances at Dev who looks back at her. Everyone leaves the room and dada asks the doctor to leave the room too and that he just wants Radhika in the room. Radhika bends down towards dada and then reassures him that nothing will happen to him and he will recover very soon. Dada looks at her and tells her that it's time for him to go. He continues that she has done lots of things for this house and family and he is asking for himself for the last time (Radhika nods yes) that she should help Dev to become a good Rajpurohit (Radhika again nods her head) and that she should see that the image of this family is not spoilt (Radhika with a painfull look nods again). He asks for her promise that she will protect the Rajpurohiti, the respect of this house and the traditions of this family (Radhika with a worried look glances aside). Dada is continuing and asking for her promise and Gayatri Mantra being chanted in the background. Radhika holds dada's palm between her palms and promises him. Dada takes deep breaths and Radhika is worried and calling his name. Dada then utters "twadiyam vastu govindam tubhyameva samapyami" (Lord this life is being surrendered at your feet-rough translation). Radhika is calling his name and dada is uttering the shloka and then breaths his last in front of her. Radhika is stunned and standing there holding dada's hands with tears rolling down her eyes and Dev followed by the others rush in to the room. Everyone is in shock and the doctor moves Radhika aside and gives electric shock to dada (but why is Radhika holding dada's hand when the shocks are being given). The doctor declares that he is sorry but the Rajpurohit is no longer in this world. Everyone is in shock with tears in their eyes and badi bahu has a slight smile on her face. Radhika slowly approaches dada and softly asks him to get up and Dev is staring at dada with a blank look on his face. Mohini comes and sits down on the bed beside Radhika who is imploring dada to get up and not to leave them like this. Dev has become a statue and Radhika is continuing that he cannot leave them like this. Padma has a disbelieving look and is crying. Radhika is trying to wake him up and saying that is dada so angry with her that he will not speak to her? Padma is slowly breaking apart, dai is crying quietly and Dev is lost in his own world and has a blank look. Radhika starts shouting at dada and asks him to get up and keeps on repeating that he cannot leave them like this. Barkha comes and holds her and tells her to control herself and tells her that dada is no longer with them anymore. He has left this world and forcibly takes her out of the room. Dev is just standing there completely lifeless. Padma is leaning on Dev for support and badi bahu looks sideways and says that he did not even let her ask him for forgiveness (Virat is glaring at badi bahu). She continues that every day she used to think that she will fall at his feet and ask for forgiveness and he did not even tell her that how will she repent for her sins (dai gives her a stern look and Virat is furious). Dev is not moving and staring blankly at dada and badi bahu continues that for the rest of her life she will have to live with this guilt. Padma is resting her head against Dev's arm and crying and dai comes and takes her away. Padma tells her in despair that look what has happened and dai tells her to have courage because if they break apart like this then how will everything happen (Padma is crying and looking at dada and Dev is just lost and staring). Dai continues that they have to inform everyone, the family, the muth and also have to cancel the Muhdikhayee because they cannot hold that when there is a death in the family. Padma nods her head, turns and walks towards Dada and then again falls apart and clings on to Dev's arms for support, who himself has completely broken down and standing with stooping shoulders, lost in his own world in shock and staring blankly at dada. Slowly the camera freezes on Dev's face.
Preacap- It's raining heavily and Dev is still in his red pajama kurta and in his own world tying bamboo together. Dai and Padma are in white and Padma is crying and imploring Dev to cry because hsi dada has gone and he will not see him ever in this house. Dev does not respond and continues doing what he is doing.
