Misti,
Hope you enjoyed doing two good updates in arow, last week reporting from CB central about a dishum dishum verbal episode and today Dev talking like a true and honest human being.
I enjoyed the episode too.
I liked many aspects of today's episode but the important one was how Dev realised that Radhika has taken a decision which is not entirely hers but a forced one and asked her about it.
With Mansaram in the picture, I will be more than happy if he breaks the truth of their child marriage, he is the right person to do it because he is Radhika's father and has the right to ask dadaji who represents Dev. Even if Mansa is shown to ask a few questions on the basis of being a part of the society it will make another brilliant episode.
Before dadaji dies this has to happen, Dev-dadaji's further confrontation may not happen, but Mansa needs to clarify a few things too, wonder if Barkha's mother will also come into the picture to say a few of those things that dadaji needs to hear on his wrongful understanding of dharm, it is unfair to so many people.
I hope he does not take any last wish request from Dev and then put him in a complete soup and then die.
One other aspect which I liked was how they showed Radhika. She is shattered but she is consciously keeping the orders of her side intact, that is to leave the house. Neither did she tell Dev to marry nor asked Barkha to take over charges. the very fact that she told Barkha not to take decisions of her life she will definitely not do that too. So the onus is now completely on Dev. She is not going to fight but will be the support in Dev's decision.
On a different note, I reached out to one of the members of the creative team, who felt that feed back from us will help them to further tighten the script. As and when I feel the episode is good I have decided to give them positive feed back to motivate them to do a better job.
