I did not enjoy yesterday's ME, I was happy that Radev got married but on the whole it was such a put off for me and today's episode also has not left me with any great feelings for the show. The whole thing was so rushed and all the emotional sequence built up is shattered every time Barkha is shown.

At the moment I am just hanging in there for Avina and hoping that they will show Radev fighting for their rights. I know that Barkha is still going to be around to steal all screen space but I hope that cvs will give Radev some good dialogs and do not cut their scenes to fit Barkha.

Sorry about not posting on sunday. I had prior commitments that day and it was quite leate at night when I watched the ME. I was expecting a Barkha love fest based on what they have shown for the past few weeks, so basically fast forwarded the entire episode and just watched the parts which had Radhika and Dev in them... As long as Barkha is there RaDev will be given a raw deal.

Misti,
Read your thoughts for the last two episodes and thanks for the same. I would like to add some more to that but let me tell that I am in probably a big minority here.
A tight noose round the neck of Dev and Radhika to begin with. Much to the hope of the audience they are in wed-lock but one where the wife is going to be without recognition.
From what I understand this time round CB is in hiding. She made her first entry into the house to meet Dev, her gruhapravesh was shown, she entered second time as her KK's wife(from her POV), she will now enter as Dev's wife but people are not aware of it. All the three times in hiding which means likely to stay that way.
Now we are in for the Chaaya-Hari-Padma track being repeated with Radhika-Dev-Barkha. The reason I feel is because they had left Dev without thinking or having feelings for his mother and also the injustice done to her. Dev is made to feel guilty as his presence will always make Padma feel bad, the way it was projected to him. Now Radhika has to do the honours of making Dev realise all that his mother would have felt and some doings of Padma also may add up to his getting over this guilt feeling. Dev does not really bother about society, he may not be keen on establishing Radhika's rights as his wife, from the prayer he made to Kanha y'day it gives me the impression, he is very happy to know that he and Radhika are married. Today if RP puts his foot down I dont hink Dev will do anything about it for now. Left to be seen if RP would want Dev to marry again to Barkha or he is happy with the fact that the society thinks that Barkha and Dev are married. the only difference in the track is Dev married Radhika on both the occasions whereas it was different with Hari. But RP advocates the same theory of dharm patni and mistress in the name of dharm and samaj.
I always had a doubt about whether Barkha was aware of the child marriage of Dev and Radhika and she is aware of it. She knows all the proof associated with it, and even if Dev wants to admit this people will want to know why he did not talk about this before. With Mansa asked to do the kanyadan and he is the other person who knows about the child marriage---people cannot accept that he could hand away the rights of his daughter to another girl----so this witness is also out of the equation---so the sanctity of the first marriage likely to go under the carpet.
Regarding the second marriage, apart from the two we dont know who else is going to be aware of it and then we can decide how this track is likely to move.
However, I do feel that we will go to the extent of the entire Chaaya track before Dev wakes up. Of course lot depends on TRPs and how long they want to extend this show, or else they will simply wake up Dev one day and things will be sorted out.
I do get the feeling that after causing enough mess the old man is likely to die so that Dev cannot have the option of leaving RPti.
This is as far as they can go for tightening the noose on Dev and Radhika.

Thanks for ur thoughts misti... firstly rubina was so good delivered both happiness and the departing scenes so beautifully ... barkhas interuption is endless but is she doing the right thing here keeping rad under gungat till she reaches pb... new promo states dj saying barkha devs marriage will be considered in front of society ... so will this marriage also be unrecognized ... dev has to fight to prove ... agree that no one found dev happy in this marriage but the fact is no one so close to him as rad who can understand him know whether he is happy r sad from his looks...

In Fridays episode hints were given as to how things will happen in the wedding.

The events were set off with Radhika in the temple and praying to Kanha that how can she protect Dev without stopping the marriage. She gets the thread and she arrived in Raj Bhawan to give that thread to Dev.

1) Dev telling Barkha that once Radhika stretches her hand towards him he will fight everyone for her rights...Kanyadaan signified stretching of Radhika's hand .

2) Barkha saying that she will make sure that Radhika stretches her hand.

3) RP unknowing allows Radhika and Dev to come in front of each other by giving Dev the flute'signified that dadaji will also unknowingly bless their union.

4) Radhika walked out in a daze hearing Dev's flute and knowingly kept her kanha murthi with the Purohit's bal gopal in the Raj Bhawan...signifying that Radhika will get married to Dev and might enter Purohit mansion but she will not be aware of some things.

5) Dev lost in his flute and suddenly realizing that Rdahika is in front of him signifying that he will also be somewhat lost regarding how Radhika comes in front of him or to be with him...

All of the points excepting the first one has been covered...Barkha engineers stuff'... RP unknowingly does bless Radhika...Dev is still not clear as to how And why RP said yes...I know Barkha told him something but he is not aware of the truth...Radhika is also not aware of the truth and she has got married and most probably will have her bidai done...
Yesterday as I was watching the show I realized that although they were promoting the show as Radhika and Dev's marriage but the show was all about Barkha...she held the centre stage and was in most of the scenes while the leads were relegated to the background and were shown to have no will of their own...so anyone who would have started to see the show from yesterday might think that Barkha is the lead and not Radhika. For this reason Radhika and Dev were dumbed down on Friday...Radhika was made to say dialogues that showed that she is more interested in saving Dev's image than his life (which the real Radhika will not have done) and Dev was made to say that he is waiting for Radhika to stretch herhands...what crap dialogues. But if Radhika and Dev are not dumbed then there is no place for Barkha and since the creatives are in love with Barkha, either Radhika or Dev /or both will be dumbed for Barkha in the screenplay. The entire wedding sequence of yesterday was horribly done...I mean it was squeezed in and rushed through...basically it was CB1 first wedding copy pasted in forward motion...if they give more emphassis to Barkha then this will happen. Actually all the people at the wedding were dumbed down for Barkha...I mean Dev is smiling and getting married and no one is thinking that something is wrong...wah bhayee whah chunnu munuu you and your love for Barkha...
What I liked today was again Mansaram who is dejected that he has to do someone else's daughters kanyadaan...him hesitating to bless the bride because according to him it is Barkha and not Radhika, and the when leaving Radhika turns her head towards her father, he feels that something is not right, there is a doubtful look on his face. Then him standing by himself and RP as usual in his own world only interested in whether Mansaram has eaten or not...so food for his body when his soul is starving because he thinks that he could not do Radhikas Kanyadaan and give her hand to her kk...Radhika getting married to KK was also Mansram's dream...Chenu coming and trying to talk to him...Padma came with food but she actually had apprehension and regret in her eyes...Shanti and her normal blabber and Chenu trying to avoid all that. The other part I like was Radhika's expressions today...specially during bidai. She wanted her baba to be there...the baba with whom she has shared her dreams...the baba who was there holding her hand and soothing her pains...and she was remembering about her childhood ...I liked her expressions when she got to know that her baba won't be there during her bidai...her happiness tirned to sadnessin a fraction of a second.
As for what will happen...again hints are there...
1) Dev's fighting for Radhika statement is still there

2) during Shiv-gauri pooja (shown yesterday) when the pandit gives her the tika...Radhika gets scared and she did not want Padma and Barkha's mother to see the tika, so she takes some from her forehead and gives it to Barkha

3) also today in front of Kanha when they were praying...Radhika thanked Kanha for the marriage and also asked for the happiness of her family (after her marriage traditionally her husband's family becomes her family..but will she understand that it's because of Dev that she has this family) but Dev only thanked for giving him what he wanted and that is Radhika...he is least bothered about any other thing.

4) RP blessed her for becoming an adharsh bahu but not a wife...or an ideal DIL but not a wife.

I wrote this in another thread today but from what I saw of the last few episodes...Radhika's relationship with RP is based on fear and acceptance...fear that her actions might harm Dev and wanting for acceptance as Dev's official wife...this is similar to Radhika's relationship with amma is CB1...she kept quiet out of fear that her babuji will be harmed and she wanted acceptance from amma as Shastrijis own daughter...so that makes Dev somewhat like shastriji here...Radhika of CB2 will most probably do what Radhika of CB1 did (hence maybe giving tika from her head to Barkha)..there it was shatsriji here it is Dev'.but now it depends on Dev...whether they will show Dev fighting with everyone for his marriage and for Radhika...and walk out of the house with Radhika...or whether he will be brought down somewhat and stay in that house with Radhika as his wife in private but Barkha shown to others...or Radhika leaving not telling others and Dev fighting on his own and going out in her search or badi bahu and her knowledge of the secret that might balance out RP and his high ideals (won't mind a badi bahu-RP face off'she can teach him a lesson that he requires again).

Anyway I will leave all the speculations regarding what will or might happen aside and all I can say based on the way they are building up and glorifying dada and Barkha...the tracks will most probably depend on how much Radhika and or Dev will be dumbed down. I am also leaving out the bloopers regarding the marriage because I do not expect them to pay attention to anything that involves Radhika-Dev...well they have already shown that it is Barkha and somewhat RP who are the leads, so why will they bother about Dev and Radhika.

Ya infak u r right coz they've been giving importance to bharkha more than RADEV oh god ya i also found it funny atleast they should have guest something is wrong coz DEV would not have tken 8th vow with bharkha Goddd these CV's cooking too much khichiri well let's watch wat happen next

It should beBarkha who should come forward and tell RP the truth , and let Dev fight for her ...I will really love if Dev leaves all this Raaj -Path and get out of this house with Radhika ...But these old people are very smart and cunning , there can be emotional blackmailing , that is quite prevalent in Indian society ...Their ego is more important then their Kids happiness ...some harsh words

In the ME, Dev says "we will go from here, just both of us"( he was talking about himself and Radh, leaving out his kartavya) It was normal, he was not used to the staus are any recognization in the society, his only astithva Radh ke saath juda hua ho...( only after Radh came into his llife, he started living his life, Radh showed him his real self) So without Radh there is no life for him. He cannot live without her, He will again go into his mechanical life without her.
But they even dumbed him showing barkha...He was supposed to fight or finding the way to Marry Radh, but here they kept him quite and made Barkha do all the stuff.

Radh on the other hand was hell bent on saying "this is all bacchpana" she repeated couple of times...again she had a point from her view. How could she even think of going like that when her KK was going to get the honorable position in the society, How could she even let it go, even if it was Dev saying. but the problem with Radh is she is more concerned to RPji's sentiments than Dev's.
sometimes i doubt "Is she loosing her faith in her childhood marriage?" remember the dialogue she said" mera suhag ab Barkha ka suhag hone wala hai??????" Oh Radhika!! now she's really freaking me out...how could one's suhag be someone else suhag? Doesnt Radh know atleast that? ( they are totally dumbing Radh to Show Barkha)

Radh was thanking Barkha and giving all the credits t Barkha for their marriage, Does she know what the mess Barkha has created first, i would rather see a big slap to Barkha from her when she knows the truth of what Barkha did.
Barkha anything she does does end up in the mess, why did she had to wait till the bidaii, if would have come and stood after the sindoor ceremony, the society would have seen with their eyes who got married. Now the situation is same according to the CB1, even the bidaai is going to be over and no one knows who's inside the ghunghat. Now i hope the track is not exactly the same what Promo showed.

Niha liked your views but with some i do not agree ...with bold sentence, its not for RP but for Dev she was doing , he was supposed to be servant , first time in his life he got his deserved place in the society , social recognition ...Money , status , power does not matter to her or Dev , but social acceptance is something , she is ready to sacrifice...As for its Dev , who did not recognized childhood marriage, how does she react, It should have been Dev who should have filled her Maang with sindoor in the temple when all this blackmailing was going on , like our movies ...But this is not movie with time bound , needed turns nothing happened ...This ghoonghat was to give twist to the story ...Do not use their creative mind for some new creative ideas , better to have the saME PLOT WITH SOME TWIST ...

Thanks Niha for the appreciation. NiHa they have dumbed Radhika and Dev for Barkha...and they will continue doing it until she is around because they want to give her the center stage and that cannot he happen if Radhika and Dev are strong...they do not want to keep Barkha as a minor character but prefer Dev and Radhika as secondary ones ...thats what has been quiet clearly shown by the makers in the past few weeks...

I felt bad for Chenu and Mansaram who looked heartbroken thinking that this was Barkha getting married to Dev and not Radhika. Chenu was right to take his father away, I couldn't stand hearing Shanti go on and on speaking negatively about Radhika who has been nothing but good to her.
Rubina was superb in the final scene as she had flashbacks of her father, you can see how close they are and she was very hurt that her father was not there to say goodbye.
Barkha, yes too much focus is being given on her right now but I hope that changes now that the wedding is over. I want to see Dev taking a stand for Radhika and not letting his grandfather control his life. I can see Radhika trying to be peacemaker but Dev won't take things so easily.

Thanks for your comments...the happiness on Dev and Radhikas face on getting married, Mansarams pain and dissapointment and Radhikas sadness that her father is not there to bid farewell to her were the highlights of the epsiode for me.

neerja, yes Radh is doing all this for Dev but i feel that her first preference is RPji's feelings.
when she took the first step, she took the harsh judgement on herself to save RPji's back. It should have been RPji's judgement but here since RPji acted so helpless in front of her, she forced herself to that judgement.
If she really gave the first Preference for Dev's feelings first she would not have taken that harsh step...even if Dev becomes RP and barkha as his wife he would be just lifeless...which Radh doesnt get it at this moment.
