Rajsri, I am getting heart attack just reading about the scene. Chunnu munnu should not show Dev pushing Radhika to marry Rohan. He has to realize that Radhika and Rohan have different personalities and why should he make Radhika marry someone who is not interested in her and is chasing other girls. The only reason he is agreeing to this marriage is because he doesn't have guts to refuse Maheswari and also to get property (if the article is true).

So if they show Dev backing out in the beginning because he feels that Rohan may be a good match for Radhika and Radhika would have a nice life, then I can still understand it. But to emotionally force her to accept Rohan would be as bad as Radhika forcing him to accept Vishaka despite knowing fully well that Vishaka did not want to live with Dev, was not married to him and Dev loved her.

Remember Chunnu munnu, Dev and Radhika are the leads and people have to like their characters if they want to have any affinity for the show. If they show Dev doing what the article mentioned, the new prospective audience are going to be turned off. Also if a heroine does somethings, the audience find sympathy such as Radhika decorating the bed was a tear jerker (it was still unnecessary melodrama for me except to show that Radhika hated imagining Dev with Vishaka). But if the hero does anything remotely similar, then audience gets turned off. Once audience gets turned off by the hero, it is hard to bring back them back.

Misti, Why3 ... i know what you mean by heart attack from the scene ... 😆 ... i think that is what they are going for ... CB has always believed that whatever is good for the goose is good for the gander

i think dev backing off can be done very naturally ...
- he does not know if rads likes him ... she has not reciprocated his feelings
- has grown up always thinking that rohan is better than him ... so may feel that rads is better off with rohan
- he may learn that the CB of the house is set to inherit a lot of money and he may feel that he is no match for that
- rohan could tell him after seeing rads that he likes her and will be a good husband
- rads could be convinced by shantha and kabutarni that rohan is her KK ... and she will try and see if she can feel the connection with him and realize before her marriage that there is no connection
- they can do all this without letting down either dev or rads characters ... but by playing on their insecurities, fears and dogmatic ideas ...

they could do all this slowly by setting up scenarios where rads meets rohan and dev and viraat ... sees how dev is really treated and how he covers up and behaves with her

they can do this by showing rads moving there to study and meeting rohan and the PB family ... shantha will allow her to go bcos she and kabutarni hook up ... no need for this rushed marriage but they could have a wedding date set for a few months from now

Or maybe they are going for a scenario where dev thinks that rads is marrying rohan and leaves ... meanwhile rads finds out that dev is her real hubby and searches for him ... but they dont show any leaps

Should have named this show , Chhoti Bahu....again a story of misunderstandings......old wine in new a bottle

Musti & why3 - I think CM is not too sure how to take the story forward and is waiting for feedback from audience.

I would not want Chanda in Purohit house.. Enough of dim wits in that household already. Also, I don't want a repeat of CB1.. story of two sisters sharing one man and no more sacrificial lambs and red gowns to seduce and evil to seperate our Jodi.

This saaghun is taking way too long. Some unnecessary scenes, dream sequence was cute. Coward Mansaram and overeager eyeballs and teeth 😆

Why3, Musti & Rajsri - I like some of the scenarios and would definately like to see Dev & Radhika fighting for their rights.. Radhika refusing to marry Rohan and Dev fighting to keep Radhika for himself.
