Misti, very funny commentary especially when I saw the episode. Watching it after reading your comments made me laugh at so many points - Amma folding the towel twice, gold fish priest, kids confusion at the circus and so on.

Thanks Misti had fun reading ur thoughts and by the time I finished the WU I read ur bit and it was ninnitime.
I have also commented on the acting skills of Chandalika and I think slowly in her dialogues we will come to know about Phuljaris past and the reason she is growing up here and why we have again Kintuji here as Phuljaris father. Will the goldfish completely close his mouth or will he open it at a interesting point in future have to W&W.Chandalika will she use this incident and still harrass Phuljari or will the Kanha come and the dark room night will go well for Phuljari .

The kids at Chintamanis house may be the elder and Majla grandson and Bhumbumbole the youngest. liked ur comments .The kids acting was good and Kabutarni a open book.Padma we have to see.I think today they may wrap up the kids role and we may have the grown up versions today or on friday . Chintmani dadaji also had interesting expressions watching the grandsons and listening to Kabutarni. Bumbums role was good listening to him telling Daima everthing except phere and sindoor.
On the whole a sad and interesting episode and the story moved forward.

Devika there is no need for you to keep silent. My comment regarding Aditya Lakhias role being similar to Shastriji was in context of the stuff that Radhika is undergoing..........That is why I have been asking the creatives to let this character take a stand and to let him play a multidimensional figure that he is capable of doing. So his role is in context of Radhikas condition at home.

Misti, one thing you forgot to address is Radhika's Khajana that she collected during the day. So, where is the Kanha murti and the gold coin? There was nothing in her hand and it wasn't in her chunni. So, it not better not be there in the black hole with her. Also, thinking of one scene from CB1 where Radhika is locked by Amma and Devki so that she doesn't go to the river to do her puja. Her lock is mysteriously broken by Kanha. Wonder if that would happen here too.

I thought I heard Mansaram say that he promised Panchayat that he will bring up Radhika as a brahmin. So it looks like the panchayat was involved in the adoption process and everyone was aware who her parents were. Maybe the real parents and Mansa had some connection so that is why the father left her at his doorstep before dying (per the dialog of FM)

Yes maybe thats how the connection is......I just hope that the makers do not again go for false mystery.......I mean create a mystery where there isn't and the one that needs to be solved is treated like a damp squid.

I really like the actress that plays the FM. She has very expressive eyes and doing a great job so far. However I am disappointed with Aditya Lakhia. Maybe it is the fault of the script that his performance seems lackluster. I saw him in Lagaan before this and I thought he was good in it.

The actress has eyes that talk.......she is very good. She can easily be given a complex role to carry. I hope that they do not waste her by asking her to make faces. Unfortunately I do not know her name. As for Aditya Lakhia it is not his fault.....as you have said it is the scripts fault and the creatives fault who are not letting him show his acting. He is very good and they are just making him stand and wring his hand.

I also like the tug of war between the 2 bahus of the PF. Padma's expressions looked sympathetic towards Dev when BB was announcing the punishment. So atleast now she seems to be on the same side as Dai and Dev. But when Dev becomes the contender for the RPship at the cost of her son, she may side with the baddies. I think she can be a very interesting character and I hope the CVs keep the audiences guessing about her all the time. I think the death of her husband has a back story to it. In one of the episodes (dont remember which one as I caught up on several today) when BB is taunting her about being a widow, she says if it were in her hands, it would have never happened and give BB a look that was very indicative that there is more to it.

Regarding Padma I too think that she can be an interesting character......she is pretty sharp, doesn't waste her time and energy throwing her weight around, does her work but knows when and how to retaliate. She does have reasons for turning and if used properly can be an interesting character to watch.

Liked golu molu chota Dev the best. He could care less about Kabootars and their mothers. His priority was phuljhari and food in that order.

I have to agree with Dg here. Aditya Lakhia is coming out to be lackluster in last two episodes because of the script he is being given. There is not much for him to do here. At least Shastriji was impressive in the first year because he stood up for Radhika. All Mansaram does is look helpless at various points. Like his wife but she is given more meaty role too. Improve Mansaram's role, chunnu munnu.

The story is set. It is a pity that they will show a leap so quickly. They could have utilized these kid actors more.
