Angie, there were some very telling moments today..........other than the silence part the other one I found interesting was that when the hotel manager asked who is Mrs. Dev Raj Purohit...........although Vishaka said or was going to say yes..........Radhika came forward and said ithat it is her...........so she is getting possesive about Dev.
Regarding the hiding part, from my point of view it is wrong. I am wondering whether this, who is Mrs. Raj purohit being asked when both the sisters are present and Radhikas hiding Vishaka.....whether it is all a parallel to the RP puja.......there also Radhika goes and does the puja which she will also do here .....maybe thy will all realise that Vishaka is in Delhi and Radhika has been helping her and she will have to face the music..........as I have said before if she has to learn a harsh lesson then she will.
As for love and obligation.........Radhika doesnot know the difference between the two...........the day she realises the difference is when I will finally condider her to be a mature person.

Radhika telling firmly that she is Mrs. DevRaj Purohit and keeping silent when Vishaka was thanking her or asking her to come back were the only two things that were good in the episode. She was clear to the manager that the room was for the sister of Mrs. Rajpurohit and she didn't like Vishaka trying to claim her name as Dev's wife. This is a drastic change from last year when she frowned upon Dev registering her under that name. If the creatives remain true to the story, I think Radhika will not be meek once she figures out that Vishaka is after Dev or wants to separate them. In fact, she will finally be free of Vishaka the day Vishaka goes after Dev. So, in that sense it is good that Vishaka starts her game now. Vishaka is so self-centered and selfish that she can't see Dev and Radhika's spiritual relationship.
But, Radhika needs to fall down somewhat in Dev's eyes before regaining her trust as so far Dev is blind to Radhika's character flaws. So, his faith would be broken by her actions.

Vishaka cannot see anything excepting herself.............I am actually going to sit back and watch Vishaka coming up against Radhika..........that is if as you said the creatives take this story in the right direction.

Regarding Dev.....he is in love with this ideal person and the blinkers need to be removed for this relationship to be a healthy one.

Hi Mishti,
I was LOL at you concern for Rad not wearing chappal and she doesn't even think she needs to take some money with her. She is that naive and that much bothered about Vishaka that she has no clue what she is doing and how she is appearing in front of others ...
Asusual lovely poem, bit emotional one... where I feel the poem is screaming out and telling why communication is so important ... I haven't read what others have written before me ...but I have one additional thought for Words of silence' ... which is - [ I don't know how to write in poetry (don't have any such talent), hence I would say in plain words ..] - "Words once said, cannot be taken back", so Words of Silence sometimes is necessary and I felt today those silence were good and appropriate though those words of silences were causing/inflicting pain in Rad.She is a good soul, her intentions are right and her Kanha is with her ...
[... there are a lot of times in our lives too, when we think back and feel that I should not have said those .. if only I had controlled my words, things would be this .....]
Actually I was looking for that additional thought and when I read the 2nd stanza I thought you might have included somewhere below .. but poem ended and I couldn't find it .. a tad disappointed I was ..
.. I know it may not be your idea , but if you can include .. I would be happy.
..nevertheless brilliant poem from a great talent ....⭐️⭐️⭐️

Silence has always been her constant companion ... there were many instances where she could have told Dev the truth on so many different things ...

I felt sad for Dev today ... inspite of doing whatever he can to make Rads happy, she is still unable to break free of the shackles that bind her ... I am hoping that comes soon

Thanks Rajsri........Silence is the emotion that I felt today and hence this poem

Misti, a beautiful poem. I have always found Radhika's silence very touching! She has never trusted enough to open up and say, I want this for myself ot this is how I feel. She was forced to justify her selfless actions and yet no one believed her and no one fought for her, including Devki and Babuji. (I can forgive Babuji, because he was clueless.)
I have mentioned previously that her dialogues with Kaanha are her way of expressing her feelings. She has lived her life subduing her feelings and until she opens herself up with abandon to Dev, she cannot get over the traumas of her life. She may have to lose some to gain some. What will she lose in the process?

Thanks Gardes................Radhika out of compulsion has been silent...........there was no one there with whom she could talk....now she has Dev and dadai, but she doesn't know how to open upand hence the wall of silence.
What will she loose when she opens upto Dev............her silence. 😊

A lovely poem on Rads silence Misti😃😃 Rad believes in the rule Silence is golden.Remember the scene on the mandirs rooftop Dev was giving vachan after vachan and when he asks her she wants him as husband in all lives, Communication is something with very low priority in her life so far and the maximum time she spent at home no one let her talk amma vish Devaki.

Thanks Chalhov.

Silence rules Radhikas world and I am waiting for the dam to burst. Yes I do remember the scene.......she was completely quiet.....as if she still cannot understand why she is getting this person in her life........and since she does not speak much she does not know how to express. ...........most of the time I take her blank look as someone who is scared to express herself.........mainly to protect herself from hurt and dissapointment.

My only grouse is with the creatives.........they give her some awful dialogues and till now have not been sensitve in handling this change in Radhika..........although the last few episode was better in parts but they still need to make loads of changes to the way they are handling the story line.

Misti,
Very well written description of Radhika's persona. She is such a serious person for somebody who is only 20 years old. She rarely smiles and does not understand jokes. When Vaishali was joking with he about making everything that Dev likes, she remained serious. Vaishali had to assure her that she was joking.
Dev is the only person whom she teases or with whom she smiles or laughs. Even with him initially, she wouldn't do that. But, then during the engagement, she started opening up and starting smiling with him, teasing him and even sharing things with him (her dialogue to Dev when she was talking about Vishaka - she said that she knows it wasn't his fault but he was the only one with whom she could have heart to heart). Now, after the wedding she is quite open with him comparatively. But, with Vishaka incident, she is back to hiding things from him as he so sternly told her not to talk about Vishaka.
In that sense, Dev and Radhika are totally suited to each other as they polar opposites. He is so gregarious, sharing every thought with her and she is so guarded and mute (mitbhashi in hindi). He likes to play pranks and she only talks about serious stuff. He is very impulsive and she is very analytical except when it comes to Amma and Vishaka.
I hope the creatives show that Dev finds out about Vishaka first before any other family member. They need to have this conversation by themselves without any interruption from good family members and bad Purohits.
