i lykd Omi in 3 idiots... but he's yet not being able 2 come out of his character... i mean u r hosting here... just be who u r n then try 2 be funny or whtever... n no comments about Chinmayi.. I agree with u on her point... n ya Minni Mathur is gr8 host... cud put her instead

I'm not trying to sound like I'm bashing your opinons but I have questions. One is why you all are bashing Omi? It's his first work after three idiots and is experimenting! And he's not the one who is not funny it's the script writer. He isn't putting his input. People are writing it for him. So if u want to replace anyone then replace the script writers.

And why do we have to replace the host. Can't we just send suggestions so they can be better and not lose a job. This is what they make money off of.

I am simply putting my opinions out if anyone is hurt sorry.

who's bashing omi here hun? we have the rights to criticize him atleast, rite? And hosting is not a matter of improvement...either a host is gud or bad, right from the beginning. Like minni, manish, hussain...they once were beginners too but they were always great hosts. Omi is a GREAT actor, i really like him as AN ACTOR & AS A PERSON! but all shows need gud hosts, tht too on national television. Great hosts also show a standard of a show. And IMO, both the hosts need to be replaced or atleast IMPROVED ASAP. Sometimes they do stuff tht just waste time nothing else, which r not even funny. If not omi, then chinmayi needs to be replaced & if not chimayi, then omi does. The problem is tht BOTH r new at this. Atleast, they shud have had one experienced host wid either of them from whom they cud learn from wid every episode.

Okay, those were just simple questions. And I don't think you have watched mini or hussains first anchor job. Anyways don't you think they have two new anchor so one doesn't over shadow each other. It's only been 2 weeks! We should wait till the get confortable before posting things about a person being fired from his or her Job! I personally think we should wait maybe half way through the show and then put our opinons out. And if they are so dull and boring then they should change the
script writer.

According to me Omi is fine, I mean he is a bit slow but still he is improving. I like Omi alot so I dont want him to be changed.

I have a different perspective. I find that the entire show is scripted to the hilt, which makes all the players seem artificial and uncomfortable. The only thing natural are the judges' comments. Even the parents' comments seem pretty much scripted most of the times. The saree episode between Ansh's grandma and Wania's mom seemed so planned. Sayantan's dialogues with Omi are too fast paced and without any spontaneity leaving no doubt about them being scripted because of which both Sayantan and Omi look uncomfortable delivering them.

I remember someone had posted a promo about Sonam coming to the show where they showed Sonam giving a rose to Sayantan who refused to take it. That looked natural and funny, but it was nowhere in the final telecast. Although the concept is good, the program directors are not doing a good job in showcasing the product.

So the singing and the judges' comments are the only things that I look forward to.

@bambooshoot I agree Just the contestants and judges look natural ..other than that everything seems down the mark ... Although parents comments are scripted(no doubt about this) but still somehow those for Good of both countries .. Understand what i mean na?

do you actually remember it from the first anchor job and how they good they were? I doubt it! I don't think you even gave them a chance. Sometime u have to have an open mind!

@Bambooshot ya only the judges and contestants are natural but it's not omi and chimayi it's the script writer and director.
