Thank you for showing that a girl can stand up for herself in her new home and not keep crying all the time. Thanks for showing realistically how a mother-in-law does have problem letting go the reins of her house and especially letting go of her sons .. a very common problem in most Indian families even today. The show could have been better written and better planned, that would have made a big difference to the end product, but it was a show that brought up a number of real problems and dealt with them in a very different way. It brought a smile to my face while watching every night. There was never too much negativity and what there was, was quickly overcome by the positivity in the show. Chhanchhan was a show that was ahead of its time in many ways.

Anuj Sachdeva, thanks for taking up the role of Manav and making the character loveable and real. You are responsible for allowing the viewers of Chhanchhan to enjoy the love story and the cute adorable pair of ChhanMan.
Supriya Pathak, you suffered from poor writing and poor characterization of Umaben at the start of the show, but it was a treat to watch you on screen, especially in your confrontations with Chhanchhan.
To the rest of the cast, thank you for living your roles so well. It was a pleasure to watch everyone on screen. Special mention to the actors who played Manthan and Ranjana, two quirky characters who livened up the show and brought some spice into it. I would have loved to see the Manthan track in more detail if the show wasn't wrapping up. Also thanks to the actors who played Chhanchhan's Dadi, and Manav's Dadaji, two of the most adorable grandparents on screen.

Sanaya ... the actress for whom I watched Chhanchhan, the actress for whom I've watched the last three TV shows I have watched ... and will continue to follow ... a special message to you.
It takes courage to go against the norm, to follow your heart ... courage and a special kind of self-confidence, which you seem to have in spades. Your acting talent is what made me your fan and your talent, your love and enthusiasm for your work, which translates onto screen, is what keeps me hooked to you and your shows. You make me smile and feel good when I see you on screen, my day is incomplete unless I have watched you for that half an hour every single day. I loved watching you as Chhanchan, and I really appreciate your attempt to do something different in each show you do. I am sure there are many more opportunities out there waiting for you, and I will be waiting impatiently to see you back on screen in the near future.

Thanks V, for taking the initiative to do this 😃

Sanaya, I would like to begin by saying that you're the sole reason I'd watch any Indian show. I started following you with MJHT and have continued following you since then. Not sure what exactly is it that makes you so attractive. It has to be a combination of your looks and personality. You're simply fabulous every time you appear on TV. Whatever it is, you must have something extraordinary to keep me glued to an Indian television show. I loved you as Gunjan, as Khushi, and now as ChanChan. Please continue to appear on TV else I'll be left with no choice but to abandon Indian television. I really hope though that in your next show you get to play a well-developed, profound character that deserves you.

Anuj, I would like to begin with a question... Why weren't you the first choice of ChanChan's PH?! Manav is the first character I've seen you portray and you've done it with so much awesomeness. The fact that I've no memories of Farhan Khan as Manav today goes to prove that the character belonged to you in the first place. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant when I first learned that a "new" guy is replacing Farhan. After I saw you in full shape and form as Manav, I was so glad that it was you and no one else who replaced Farhan. As a model, you're very good looking and with ChanChan, you've proven that you're an amazing actor too. A complete package in that sense. I was so disappointed when I heard that some fans made foolish comments comparing you to Sanaya's previous costar. Let me tell you that even though the theme and plotline of ChanChan did not allow you, you still managed not to "recreate" the chemistry but to create your own chemistry with Sanaya and leave a mark behind. That too in such a short period of time. Now that to me is a true achievement for an actor. I mean when things are in your favor, it becomes easy for many. But the true achiever is he who reaches his goal despite unfavorable circumstances. I've very few favorite actors and you happen to be one of them now. I look forward to see more of you in future in different shapes and forms of roles.

ChanChan Team: For whatever reason, the show did not prove a TRP garner but you guys need to know that you've done an amazing job. I'd blame it more on time as I believe your team did not have enough time to fix their "faultlines." In any case, the truth is that you conceptualized something new and unique rather than reproducing a cliched show. This in itself is a proof of your creativity. I should also acknowledge that ChanChan has been the only Indian show I've followed regularly. Given your potential, I hope to see your team returns soon with something extraordinary. Finally, thank you so much for pairing together Sanaya Irani and Anuj Sachdeva - These two were just awesome as an onscreen couple.

SaNuj, what do I say about the two of you?! The chemistry you share is something any viewer would cherish. Even though ChanChan is not a romantic show, you manage to leave that spark. Every ChanChan and Manav scene was a treat to watch. I can only imagine how sizzling your chemistry could get if you two played the leads in an intense love story. Given the tradition of not repeating onscreen pairs, I know it's very unlikely for this wish of mine to be fulfilled. But if it surprisingly happens, you cannot imagine my level of excitement. Please remember that you will be giving so much happiness to someone out there if you sign an intense love story together. Apart from your onscreen pairing, the two of you look ultra cute when you give an offscreen interview. You look like the best of friends. I believe this is because you are similar in so many ways. I did not imagine that there would be a person who'd outtalk Sanaya but Anuj did it! The two of you have such an awesome sense of humor too. I am not going to list all of your similarities to keep it short, but I hope you know them all. Hence, make it a point to remain in touch and awesome friends even after your show ends. And please keep giving us interviews together whenever possible... you've no idea how good you look together.

We will always cherish ChanMan's onscreen chemistry and adore SaNuj's offscreen masti.

Loads and loads of love,
Sonya.

To Team Chhanchhan - Thank you for trying something different, for going against the conventional crying bahu, overpowering saas and a spineless husband. Thank you for the attempt to make a show based on today's world, on reality, a show that was entertaining and intelligent. I loved watching it. It didn't work out, but Chhanchhan will forever be remembered as the show which tried to break the norms on Indian Television. KUDOS.

To Sanaya - I am so proud of you. From Sameera in LRL, to Sanaya in RKB, to Gunjan in MJHT, to Khushi in IPKKND and finally Chhanchhan in CC you have simply grown as an actor to a level unmatched by most today. Thank you for choosing something completely different from your previous shows, for following your heart, for never letting your gorgeous smile waver no matter what the circumstances. Chhanchhan may not have worked out, but thank you for taking up a show that went against the norms of Indian Television. Thank you for choosing 3 completely different roles, a quiet, shy Gunjan, a loud, crazy, bubbly Khushi and a very today's woman Chhanchhan, and portraying them to the T. You are the only actress who has been part of 3 amazing onscreen jodis. I love you, and I really hope we don't need to wait too long to see you shining on your screens again.

To Anuj - Thank you for being the Manav we fell in love with. You were simply so awesome that at times we wished that Chhanchhan would become a love story, I know I did. Your entry brought with it this freshness that was lacking before. So thank you. Thank you for taking up a show midway. We are always going to remember you as Manav Borisagar.

To Supriya Pathakji - I had seen you as Hansa in Khichdi, and loved you there. It was a pleasure seeing you in Chhanchhan as Umaben, a completely different role but played so perfectly. My favourite scenes of you were your confrontations with Chhanchhan. You were awesome. Thank you.

To the rest - Thank you for playing your roles perfectly. I loved watching scenes with the Sarabhai family and Chhanchhan's friends, scenes with the Borisagar family. Jimit Trivedi, I loved watching Manthan, one of my favourite characters in Chhanchhan. Srman Jain, you were amazing as Rugved. To the others, thank you for being so supportive and so awesome. You were all amazing.

I am international viewer and frankly not very experienced with Indian entertainment be it movies or TV shows. I occasionally watch BW movies with family and friends but had never ventured into Indian TV nor do I have the inclination to do so except to see Sanaya. 😊

Sanaya, Just adore you !!
Like others, I happened onto Sanaya's previous show and was suddenly wanting to see more of her. Cannot pinpoint any one thing about her...just her whole persona be it acting or being herself in interviews.
Seeing Sanaya transition from Khushi to Chhanchhan...I am just in awe for this fine young woman. Sanaya is a powerhouse of talent, as already seen in the wide eyed Khushi and the calm and collected Chhanchhan. (I only know these two characters). She is a gift to the entertainment world. Sanaya has a lot more to offer in the future.

Anuj, Don't know him but a special mention - A gentleman for taking up the challenge to be Manav against odds.

Team Chhanchhan,
Excellent selection of all the cast members.
PH - Show concept was very good and fresh, one of intellect and logic.
Sony - Giving new concept shows

Wish everybody the very best in all future ventures, small or large. Everything that happens, happens for a reason.
Take Care
Kerrie
