I can no longer keep this to myself so I have to blurt it out. Basically last time we sent Sanaya a poster and she loved it.
This time we're going to send the duo a SaNuj poster. But it has to be a teamwork. My lazy self will do the sending and some creative minds will have to do the poster. Actually not lazy necessarily but more because I am not as talented as most of you.
So first I thought we'll have all the interested people make a poster and then vote for the best one. But then I thought it might hurt the feelings of those whose works will be rejected, nahi?
As an alternative, I thought we'll create a poster together. Meaning, everyone suggests pictures, coloring, texts, etc until we have one final product. Obviously one person would be in charge of the actual poster but s/he will have to consider feedback from everyone else too. Do you think this would work?
You can even turn around and tell me that the whole idea of a SaNuj poster is not that great so we should drop it. You're free to share any idea that hits your mind...
The main reason I came up with this idea is because I think it's high time SaNuj should know they are loved and appreciated by their viewers. This reminds me of something else. Those who participate in this project should be SaNuj admirers. See the thing is we have many kind, skilled siggy-makers on IF who'd do us the favor of creating a pro poster. But I believe the person involved should believe in the end-product of his/her efforts. That is you need to love SaNuj.
Okay now shoot in your ideas...

After considering feedback from Drish, Tia, and Aysha, I think it's better that we let selected members do the posters. Once each poster is done, we can post it here to see if it can have any final revisions. We need two posters. Those of you experienced with poster/siggy-making, can you please volunteer to do the job?

Guys Ragini (SublimeSanz) is going to make us the poster. Please feel free to share your suggestions and give your feedback. Right now she needs high quality pictures of Sanaya and Anuj that she could use in the poster. So what are you waiting for? Please start posting them here on this thread and she'll collect them. Right now we are experimenting with merging Sanaya and Anuj pics from different shots. But it should look like it's the same scene. It shouldn't look awkward at all. So can you please please help us find high quality pics of Sanaya and Anuj that could go together?

I've numbered the posters. These are just the rough drafts. Once we select the final draft, Ragini will work on its coloring and design. We don't want her to do all the work and then we have issues with the pictures. So start voting and pouring in your feedback.
Again: it would also be nice if you could find us especially Anuj's HQ large-size pictures cuz the ones we have, he's looking straight into the camera which makes it a bit awkward when we merge him with Sanaya.

I have read all the comments. In a hurry. Just a quick note: The whole idea of having a merged poster of Anuj and Sanaya was because we could not come up with HQ pics of the two together. Ragini needs high quality large-size pictures to make the posters. When we take screen shots of the show or SBS segments, the resolution turns out very bad when Ragini stretches the pictures to make them big. Besides I thought later it would be nice to surprise them with something unexpected. SaNuj sure wouldn't expect us to merge their individual pictures... But if everyone thinks merging is not working, I am fine with it as long as you can find us excellent quality pictures that Ragz can use.
Also all of the posters below are done by Ragini (SublimeSanz). None of them is my work - only I were thattt talentedd...

Most of us seem to support the idea of a scrap book. I thought over it and decided that it's undoable for 3 reasons:
1. No one has told me yet who gets to keep the scrap book. Sanaya or Anuj? Isn't this why we decided to have two posters?
2. I don't know where to get it done. Once a locally-based website that I use for online shopping had this coupon for a professional photo album that we could purchase. I had it in mind cuz I was planning to have an SI calendar. I went to the website but that coupon is nowhere to be seen. Not surprised. I had seen it quite some time ago.
3. The driving force behind this idea was to show our support to the onscreen pairing of SaNuj. This could be accomplished both ways: poster or scrap book. The scrap book that Sunara is referring to was a big-size professional one. I was friends with the person who did it and I know of all the troubles she went through to get it done. It was kind of worth it cuz she did it for a reel and real life couple. SaNuj on the other hand are just an onscreen couple. Besides, I can imagine that it would have cost her a fortune too. These posters that I'll be doing will cost me around $85 plus the shipping charges. Going by this, I'd say that the MoNaya scrap book would cost me at least around $300. Being the person I am, I would not pay that kind of money to gift something to a celebrity (whether it's MoNaya, ArHi, or SaNuj). Not at least in the current situation of our world. I am not sure if you guys know of the civil war in Syria. There's a lot of fund raising going on for the Syrian cause in the country I live. I'd rather add those $300 to the little amount of money I send to help in getting food for Syrian refugees than getting a scrap book done for SaNuj. I am sharing my exact thoughts on this because I believe we're now a group of people who can just be "us" with each other.
Trust me when I say it's not about the money as long as I can be convinced that it's worth the cause.
