While the pace of the show makes it even more watchable it is a bit worrisome...why the rush??
The yoga scene was funny but a little too long and I have a feeling that the milk was spiked but cvs changed the track at the last minute. UB just thinking that CC wouldn't wake up doesn't make sense she would have had to ensure that she didn't wake up in time...I'm glad though that they didn't go through with the spiked milk scenario, it would have been so cliched whereas the yoga scenario added a fun element. The brothers were obviously not happy about what they had to do but were supportive enough to continue even when they found out why they were doing it. The brothers wouldn't have been punished for the late breakfast but it was almost like they were all taking care of one of their own whether it was for Manav or for CC is debatable. Apart from UB the family is overall decent.
I'm loving the cute little romantic scenes the cvs are slipping in amongst everything else...again it's so realistic because all newlyweds try to find a few moments of togetherness. Yup Dia, Manav sure as hell didn't have a tattoo in mind when he said his wife should know how to thank him😳😆.
So Sonali is obviously traditional in the sense that she's agreed to marry a man that she's never met but at the same time isn't quite the traditional bahu that UB is looking for...she thinks it's cool and fashionable to have her fiancee's name tattooed on her wrist something that would not be approved of by UB. I don't see her as someone who would pursue Manav once she knew he was married regardless of UB's games.
The Queen of Expressions once again proved ownership of the title as that penny slowly fell into place. Her initial shock on hearing the name Manav Borisagar and then the added disbelief as Sonali added each point making it hard to pass everything off as a coincidence. Her voice modulation when she realized that UB was playing games was awesome. The one thing though was that even though she was teary eyed CC had a resolve in her face that let us know she wasn't about to give up. Kudos to Sanaya Irani for an awesome performance. Talking about awesome performances thank you Anujs Sachdeva for taking on the role of Manav Borisagar and thank you creatives for recreating flashbacks of important scenes so that we can all forget that the blinking days ever happened. In case there are some creatives roaming around here then please please redo the scene where Manav has the monologue in UB's bedroom and the scene where he leaves home...after that all will be forgiven for the torture we endured (well for me at least!).
Jaya ... as Ash says, spiked milk was probably the predictable route ... I have often wondered how the saas/ vamp/villain in serials always seems to have some strange medicine available at exactly the right moment to cause such havoc ... whether it be sleeping pills or memory loss tabs or cathartics 😆
The yoga scene was a much better alternative, it was funny and also nice to see the brothers helping Manav to cover up for CC ... I think they all fear Dadaji's anger and are not perceptive enough to see that he is quite justified in his actions, although his punishments are harsh!!! So maybe they were afraid that his anger would affect them all regardless of cause!
I am also loving the small Manav-CC scenes they manage to slip into every episode The good thing is that many of them are sensible conversations, along with the romance ... so the bond builds with each scene. Hugging, kissing, cuddling is a normal part of every newly married couple's interactions ... especially when they are in love!
The Sonali part was the only contrived part for me ... lets see how she shapes up. I totally LOVED the revised flashback ... the bad memories are fading, I can only visualise Anuj as Manav now! And Sanaya's expressions in that last scene were fabulous ... you could almost hear the penny drop with each flashback ...
And CC is not going to be the sobbing, silently suffering sacrificing bahu at all ... she loves her husband and he loves her, they cannot live without each other and the few days of marriage have only strengthened their bond and their love. So she will fight for her love, her self-respect and her marriage. The good thing is ... till now she has been giving in to Umaben's very unjust requests and orders, because she thought it was genuinely out of love. Now that she knows better, am waiting to see how she tackles Umaben, without losing her own principles. This is going to be an interesting watch!
