Dadaji to throw CC out of the house TC article

Sony Entertainment Television's Chhanchhan, produced by Optimystix Productions awaits a fresh track with the entry of Manav's (Anuj Sachdeva) Dadaji, to be played by Arvind Vaidya. The man who is very principled in life will enter the house at a time when there is sheer chaos unfolding.

The coming episodes will play out a major drama wherein Umaben (Supriya Pathak) late in the night gets irritated with Chhanchhan's (Sanaya Irani) pet dog Kuchkuch and sends it out of the house and locks the door. The next morning, when the entire family is searching for the dog, Dadaji makes his entry and is stunned to know that the daughter-in-law of the house is mad over dogs. Also the fact that Chhanchhan wears suits instead of covering her head with the palloo of her saree irks him.

Dadaji, who will be called Unnatilal is a stickler who comes with his own baggage of problems. He has never been able to get to terms with the death of his wife whom he loved very much. He still carries the ashes of his wife in a pot, and refers to it with the name of his wife 'Santok Ba'. When he sees Chhanchhan being so very close to her pet dogs rather than showing affection on her husband Manav, Unnatilal gets angry and throws Chhanchhan out of the house.

Chhanchhan's first experience with Dadaji will turn sour when he firmly tells her that her dogs cannot get into the house. His take is that, if she has to be with her dogs, she then better stay out of the house.

How will Chhanchhan win over Dadaji? Well, Ooly time will tell.
