ok am late..but then better late that never..

well the cutesy scene at the beginning was a little of a let down cz of having seen all of it on SBS (in fact a more fun and longer version as it was uncut)...i really should start following what I did during IPK days.. I used to download all the extra videos and put them on a folder with the date. then after 2 days later i will watch it. by then i have seen the original scene on TV!!

I mean i love that they r giving extra videos n the couple cz i am simply not interested to see any1 else other than San in it..

this way i get a cute load and no spoiling.. best of both worlds...

ok coming to the episode.. well u all think that UB covered all her bases...she indeed has upped her gave after understanding CC is not gonna fall for the usual dark age punishments...
the loophole i see is, Ranajana!

Ranjana is going along with every single thing that has caused CC trouble is to go to the wedding right?
But now CC thinking R is going mayka cz of her HM is cancelling the HM!!

Now by default after saying this openly she would be expecting R to stop!! hehe so in the end R is not going to be able to go to either her friend's wedding nor her mayka!!
now think of her reaction!! 😆

this is a tangled mess.. someone rightly said to cover 1 lie u have to say 100 others!!😛 let's wait n see..

n well meethi churi.. that is what she is..n that makes her very different from the rest of the MILs on TV.. but the thing is this one is actually not traditional or regressive! She just has a superiority complex and an ego the size of Himalaya and she is a bully (attacks the weak, but is afraid to expose thyself to one stronger than u)!
anyway the reason she has been reduced to react in this meethi churi manner is cz CC is different, she is no wall flower who will sit and cry or let alone that she will not even accept anything without asking 100 questions to measure the pros and cons!!

case in point - today UB said that Manav should not be told cz it was a women's thing. Now what did CC do? agree with a meek 'ji mummyji?'
nah! she said it was a problem of the family and they need to sort it much to UB's consternation! there is no way that this wife is going to keep anything hidden from her hubby! 😆

Anyway after seeing the TB video Manav is pissed off ..but whatever stunt CC is pulling off has got him well worried!! I think the relief of finding her well and sound and in one piece after the fright she gives him might make him forgive her lol.. anyway will see what this surprise is! If this is a celebration of the SR in the house itself, (with a locked door of course) I am all for it!! specially if it includes a total seduction scene!! and uninhibited seduction by San would be a delight to watch!! n CC is completely uninhibited when it comes to romancing the hubby in privacy..😆

So basically i see 1 of the 2 things happening
1. CC goes on HM with Manav & R goes to the wedding
2. Neither parties go..

now where does this leave UB? will R be happy when she learns this? will she keep her mouth shut now the carrot is being taken from her hands after being allowed to keep it in her hands for a while?
won't she in anger tell something?

Lovely take, Sunara!!! And you brought in an interesting point ... now that CC cancels her HM for Ranjana, will Ranjana be forced to cancel her maayka trip? And what will that lead to ...will she let the cat out of the bag about actually wanting to go for a wedding and it being nothing to do with CC's honeymoon plans?
I just hope CC starts smelling a rat sometime soon ... AFTER the lovey dovey manaoing of Manav, that is of course 😆 ... Ranjana has not left the house yet, she has just told Manek to get her ticket done. So her reactions when CC cancels her HM and UB is forced to cancel R's holiday, will be worth watching ...

So also agree ... I think HM WILL happen ... not now but little later after this plan of UB's also flops ... for the simple reason that otherwise Sony will have a riot on their hands! 😆

I agree completely about the SBS segments and the romantic scenes ... don't want such extensive coverage ... the actual scene seemed far shorter than in the segments, because we saw it done so many times! 😕

Today is UB's day and i think she is the king for coming days too. She is expert in manipulating and using all the family members as pawns to get rid of CC from her house and manav. ranjana as puppet dancing to her MIL's tunes and thus making ub's game safer and easier. CC is so innocent that she is just getting stuck into her saasu maa's plan. hilarious or better say horror part was ranjana and manek's romance.

Its high time now parallel to chanman 's love story creatives should start showing chanchan's character growth and variations also.

@red ... I agree completely ... CC will soon be a Gopi vhau at this rate ... she HAS to start smelling a rat about Umaben's plans and actual intentions ... At least, make a start with discovering Ranjana's jealous nature ... CC can't remain wide-eyed and innocent for too long, she has been shown to be a smart thinking girl ... at least let her have some monologues about what this family she has married into, is like ..

I am scared of the same thing .. though have to say, Umaben is trying her very best to guilt trip Chhanchhan into doing exactly that ... she said three times to CC how she had changed the saree rule for CC ... hopefully CC will not change back, after all she didn't bother to keep a fast when the other three bhabhis were doing it either. I have more faith in Sanaya's discomfort in wearing sarees for this one not to happen 😆

But after Sunara's post I wonder what the repercussions of CC cancelling her HM will be ... don't think UB has thought that far ahead 😆

I think CC will try to persuade R not to go, R will either let the cat out of the bag, or will tell CC she got permission to go from UB because CC is going for her HM, so on no account should CC cancel it, otherwise her own trip will be cancelled ... and so will Sanjana's and Kaumudi's holidays as well! Which will torpedo UB well and truly ... CC will decide to go after all ... and UB will be caught in her own words ... all four bahus will get their time off 😆

Naive CC on a guilt trip...cancels the honeymoon and faces hubby's anger. I could make out from yesterday's episode that the HM is not happening or atleast not soon.

Today's episode was again heavy duty saas bahu drama. I am wondering where this 30 day thing is heading. Is this the beginning of a crack in ChhanMan relationship or is it just for getting some roothna manana romance. I really hope they show some character growth now. Otherwise my fear that the show will regress into everyday kitchen politics where UB wins some and Chch some might come true.

Yep, Manav had not problem persuading his mom, she was already onto her next move. She ahs to play the good saas for ChanMan at all times ... she doesn't miss a trick!

Agree about the SBS 😕 ... don't want any more romance spoilers!!!

I think the ChanMan romance is just to attract the younger audience ... the real story is between UB and CC ... so that's not ending any time soon.
But I really want some character growth for Chhanchhan now ... she has to open her eyes soon ... I think we all want that!

And I want it to be more about the ideological battles and change of rigid customs rather than just about modern vs old ... all tradition is not bad, but the wrong ones they have brought up so far ... the bahus being treated like second class citizens, eating later, in the kitchen etc ... those should be brought up.

Today another rigid custom was brought up ... a DIL does not have permission or the freedom to visit her parents whenever she wants ... there has to be a good reason ... and if she goes to her maayka, it is seen as punishment or banishment. Another viewpoint that has to change - a DIL should have the freedom to come and go as she pleases ... adjusting to the convenience of the family, of course.

It was a nice episode!!
