Don't worry, nothing will happen to Sanaya or the show. The TC article, which by the way you have to read with some amount of skepticism, only indicates that the channel wants put this FK fiasco behind them. They don't want the actors talking about it anymore so that the media too backs off and stops making a mountain out of a molehill. They just hired a new male lead and got new writers, directors etc., So they are desperate for this show to work and do better. They want media and audience attention to be fixed on the on-screen drama rather than off it. Ofcourse the channel and PH should have given an official statement about replacement long time back to avoid all this mess.

As they have made so many changes and hoping the main story catches on, the channel will give this show sometime to re-establish itself. In case this show does get pulled off after few months, it still will not adversely effect Sanaya's career, unlike what some people believe. She has already proven and established herself as a talented, hardworking actress, so she will get other shows and opportunities.

Many shows start with much fanfare and with big name actors and soon end. Chhanchhan itself replaced one such show on SONY and a Zee TV show just got taken off, so these things happen. It does not end the career of actors because the industry insiders know that no show succeeds and fails because of one person, it is a team effort.

Coming to Chhanchhan, the channel and PH messed up a lot in the beginning- from selecting a non actor for male lead, hurrying the show to start a week before IPL, to not coming up with interesting tracks and screenplay. Yet it managed to have a TRP which most SONY serials have, that itself shows, as somebody else said here yesterday that Sanaya is a star. If the creatives and PH were better prepared with a good script the show would have been doing well today because they have so many competent actors in their team... the first week TRP says that.

The makers lost the plot the first two months and and with it lost a significant amount of viewers, it will be a slow process to win them over and that is if audience gets impressed with changes they are making. But to address your fears, through all the ups and downs Sanaya's acting skills or her hard work has not come under scanner, and what little I know of her she is not the type to sit back and gloat over or cry about her successes or failures. She will just pick herself up and move to her next project. We have seen her do that in the recent past and I am sure she will do the same again.

Fantastically written as always , I actually didn't want to make a post on this article but my 2 pences ... Why did the channel / ph stay quiet after FK's outburst in all and sundry sites, had they nipped it in the bud nobody would have reacted ...sanaya , charu or himanshu . Ppl reacting on sanaya wishing him better mental health , calling him a liar etc as tit for tat , oh please , her reaction was too mild , the guy attacked her professionally and personally . Now , from this article I gather , he was offered an an honourable exit and refused to take it so was booted out ...wow ,what was he thinking ...he will keep working against the will of the PH...the channels action is too late in the day , more than a week after FK's first interview ...what were they waiting for , this week's trp's .

Regarding sanaya ...she is a survivor who doesn't mope around too much , picks herself up and moves on . She did it during the fiasco of her previous show closure , would do the same if required for this show also , what is sad is in both the cases the situation is not of her making .

What I am trying to say is that what is in her destiny , she will get it ...no FK , no prodn house / channel can deprive her of it.
