Hi Sadaf Hows it going dear? Its been long since I interacted with you :)

I have to agree with you on this topic, I couldn't have said this better.

Basically, most shows these days are high on TRP's coz of "romance" luckily I am not a sucker for romance and I cannot watch every other romance filled show, This show is unique in its own way, its more of a family drama than anything else, something I can relate to as I am a complete family person. I like romance,I am not denying that..but I cannot stand mushy love stories or just romancing just because. I like stories that have substance, and ChhanChhan surely has that. Romance is needed in this show definitely and especially now because we have such a good male lead, I definitely want more romance but it shouldn't get mushy..coz I dislike mush and sugar coated romance lol :P

What I like most about this show is that its very typically Gujarati, I have lived in the western part of India for the longest time and I have to say, this show has very well balanced Gujarati characters. They are so typical and manipulative especially UmaBen. I have seen very traditional Gujju's and very modern gujju's too, and this show has perfectly shown that to us.

Lastly I would like to say, yes this PH definitely listens to our suggestions and feedback, and lately the show has imrpoved a LOT. Very happy about that :)

lovely post..great analysis..
and sanaya is also trying to offer her viewers something different to watch...she did back to back romantic shows..so when she has chosen CC..here has to be some valid reasons behind it..
and indeed the show has got lots of potentials..a blend of everything..a little bit of more efforts from the CV will make this show a successful one for sure..

I totally agree.
CC is a good show, started a little shaky, but taking off now. I like the concept very much.
I think Manav will have more role to play than speculated

Well said. Sanaya has been part of two love stories already and even as an actor, I'm sure it can get repetitive, especially for someone who is not very comfortable in romantic scenes. Initially I had my doubts on the show thinking it won't do too well but I agree with one thing you pointed out; the PH is listening and is willing to improve without completely depending on the fans to lead the story (something we have seen with a certain other PH) They did an excellent job casting Anuj and every other cast member in the show performs so well.

The show may not have started off too well but it's clearly picking up. Those who don't want to watch will continue to call it a crappy show and find faults but those who watch it honestly, will realize that with each episode the show only continues to get better.

My issue is with Uma Ben. Supriya's acting is spot on but that character reminds me of Anjali & Mami of IPK, 2 characters I used to detest till date. So if this character occupies most of the screen space what is the point of watching the show ? I skip most of her annoying scenes. The show name is Chhan Chhan but all I see is Uma Ben ? Why.
