So, with all the controversy going on between Sanaya and Farhan, I felt like adding my two cents to the equation. First of all, for all those people who leave posts against Sanaya and ask to not get bashed... are you serious? I mean, personally, I consider myself a huge Sanaya fan and I get really angry at posts against her, but I wouldn't go on people's posts and bash them for their opinion; rather, I get angry, laugh at the people making the posts, and move on with my life. But, if you are going to bash her, do you really think you're not going to get people jumping down your throat and making fun of you? This show literally has the tagline "Sanaya Irani's new show." So, this naturally means that people who are going to comment on the forum are going to be her fans. And, for us to have put up with the quality of this show for the first two months, obviously says that we're crazy about her. More than half of us only stuck around because of Sanaya. So, for you to say negative things about her and then expect to not get bashed is ridiculous and, in all honesty, bloody idiotic. Secondly, Farhan is, in my opinion, a complete low-life. Everyone absolutely adores Sanaya; her fans, her co-actors, random people from the industry. Literally, she has so many friends in the industry, it amazes me because I always thought that actresses tend to not associate with other actresses because of ego issues. But, Sanaya's camaraderie with all of her fellow actors changed my opinion about that. Honestly, if we stop to think about it for a couple of minutes, if Sanaya literally hits it off with all of her co-actors, with or without prior friendships, who is really at fault for not getting along with her. If you go back and watch all the interviews with Farhan, he seems so arrogant and ridiculous in all of them, I want to punch him in the face. He literally comes off as rude and just plain unapproachable in a ton of his interviews. I mean, Ekta Kapoor offered him a lead? Are you kidding me?! Plus, which actor in this industry would have the audacity to turn down Ekta "daily-soap-queen" Kapoor? Farhan really does not seem to have humility. And, what really makes me laugh about this whole situation is that, if you visit Farhan's profile, there are comments on comments on comments about how Sanaya is such a terrible person and how Farhan should keep his chin up and move on with his life. I mean, yes fans should support the people they care about, and it's hypocritical to suggest otherwise, but look at the facts, people. Some person was going on about how Farhan is so brave to stand up to someone as arrogant as Sanaya and it's unbelievable how rude she was to him but, honestly, could you really stand him, thinking about how he acts in his interview. If Sanaya kept away from him, it was probably for good reason. And, yes, I agree that Sanaya tends to be a bit frank in her interviews and she does, absolutely, tell it how it is, but that doesn't mean she's rude or arrogant in them. I have never heard her praise herself in an interview or go on and on about how she turned down a better role. For a more objective point of view, I'll even leave Sanaya out of the whole equation. All of those people out there who are FK fans, did you not watch the show while he was on it? His acting was, literally, the worst acting I've ever seen, and I have watched some pretty bad acting (Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in Khushi, anyone?). Like, people stopped watching the show because of him. Yes, the concept isn't the greatest, but the reason that we all think the concept isn't that great is because we're used to all those over-the-top, unrealistic, "broken, closed-hearted male lead falls for crazy, simple, passionate female lead" romance shows. I mean, yes, those shows are great and really make us fall in love with the characters and story lines, but those shows are not realistic. The point is, that there was only so much that Sanaya could do to carry the show on her shoulders. Yes, the show is about her character, but everyone knows that Indian shows don't run without a strong male lead also. And, as far as a male lead goes, Farhan just wasn't cutting it.
