Thanks for sharing. Sanaya deserved to win this last year for KKG so I really hope she wins it this year. Sweet of DD to say this and I'm sure Sanaya probably feels the same way, if not her then DD. Nice to see such friendship in a cut throat industry.

The reigning queen of Indian television, Sanaya Irani is nominated for her role of Khushi (Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, 4 Lions Films), as the Best Actress in a Lead Role at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards.

Sanaya made her television debut in SAB TV's Left Right Left. Her first role as a protagonist came in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum. Later she was seen in Star Plus' all time favourite show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon as Khushi opposite Barun Sobti. The role brought her both acknowledgment and she gained immense popularity. And currently she is seen in Sony Entertainment Television's Chhanchhan.

There is no doubt that Sanaya has a great fan following and till date, her fans miss her as Khushi.

We tried contacting Sanaya to get a response on her nomination but she remained busy shooting.

But we are sure her fans would love to see her hold the golden trophy and say the winning speech.
